“this btc drop is a blessing for ARB”
No, it’s not.
1) The interims are based on yesterday’s BTC price. The sharp fall in price since the end of the year means it is likely ARB will post a six month loss of over £50m
2) Difficulty is not yet decreasing to any meaningful extent - in fact latest estimate is that it will actually increase slightly at the next review. So no upside visible yet from this
3) ARB have significant loans backed by BTC (and value of mining rigs) - any reduction in the value of these assets puts pressure on liquidity. A big reduction means big pressure
4) Miners may indeed go under. See 3) above
In my view we need BTC to go up. Soon. By a lot. Please.
That is right Chaebol, never say never. However, the chance of winning the lottery twice are a lot slimmer.
I likey your 'never' predictions btc was 'never' going to 25k again...... 12p 'never' means in a few weeks then x;)
I say never say never ! especially in crypto land x;)
Hc, loads of small ones. Non listed. That’s why gpu price has crashed.
Which miners are going under poorinvestor?
Chaebol, I’m averaging around 50p. Of course I will buy at 12p. This will never drop to 12p. We have only a deposit on those intel machines, we should be getting them cheaper, plus loads of miners going under. We are in an excellent position, this btc drop is a blessing for ARB. All ducks are lined up.
Imho DYOR
pi you never answered are you buying more here when/if 8-12p ?
Do you have a capitulation number ?
Howay the lads.
Why to derangement....... boys....... 152p 34p, trust me its paid, won, banked! been a beautiful thing and i know how much la likes me to reminisce about it, I know la it was so obvious!
so is 8-12p oi oi boing boing yeeehhaawwww
locked and loaded for the next decline to 8-12p
“I trade OZ, Uk and US so its long hours, 3-4 hours a day usually is sufficient.”
Don’t forget Never Never land, Narnia, and the lost city of Atlantis as well sPaGBOL…lmfao, such a load of bs.
Make sure you keep that 500+ posts a month average up, everything sooo much more believable then. Lol
Chaebol, getting in at the bottom and selling at the top, is all what big money do. The reason I’m a poor investor is, I can’t just time it right. Hopefully, with experience, I might get better at it.
There is no way you can smoke that every day and only get 4 hour sleep every day. I’m sure, you are living in Sunderland not Thailand. :-)
Also baffled by the £200k+ trade
yes me too Hexam, weird its out of hours and the amount of shares, could easily be a short close and thats why the difference in price.
You crack me up lol big money wouldnt be called big money for long if they took on your mindset!
I havent done cocaine for 15 years, i hated the stuff just loved the smell of it x;) Need things to bring me down mate! especially the win here, So I love my joints and bongs and Thailand just made my life easier by becoming Amsterdam 2.0 now that is a oi oi boing boing yeeeehawww!
Chaebol, 5 or 10 percent is nothing to big money. What is important for big money is timing the market. Big money time the market, they know when to get in and they know when to get out, the rest is irrelevant. Something I have yet to learn lol.
4 hour sleep, wtf. Are you sniffing the white stuff.
The closing price is always set by the closing auction, and so as signified by the UT price, so wouldn't necessarily expect it to match any preceding trades. Was surprised though that it was different by so much but then again I seem to remember that the volume on the auction was tiny.
Also baffled by the £200k+ trade but really can't get excited by a single trade (unless it's absolutely huge) as means nothing in the grand scheme of things whether it was a buy or a sell.
Big money price in cost, when they sell. Imho
So big money pays more than everybody else right ? lol They must be getting loans too! ffs lol
HFT Quants and Algorithms all set against retail to get a better price but big money will pay more ok poor investor!
I trade OZ, Uk and US so its long hours, 3-4 hours a day usually is sufficient.
Had a very good week with Arb arbk again! one of my better weeks to be fair! not so good on US but we cant win them all
x:)
Out of interest are you buying more here at 8-12p ?
Interesting they say that yday close was 33.50 as well. I never saw that price on my screens at all.
Big money price in cost, when they sell. Imho
When do you sleep?
It was out of hours which never bodes well and indicates to me it’s not a buy.
‘My point was, once you are buying and selling 250 odd thousand pounds worth, 10 or 20k don’t mean ****. ‘
And sorry that’s nonsense, big money far smarter than that!
This would be a retail move and they wouldn’t be able to do that out of hours.
My point was, once you are buying and selling 250 odd thousand pounds worth, 10 or 20k don’t mean ****.
Chaebol, and I thought you were an expert. When you sell large quantities, you nearly always, not always but nearly always get around 3-10 percent less. For example, if you sold £10,000 worth and your getting 33p, when you sell 100k worth you will get 30p. Same thing happens when you buy, you get a worser price. I know, done it loads of times. When you are buying over £200,000 worth, you are lucky to be get 33p in one go. I’m not 100 percent, always room for error, but 99 percent sure that is a buy.
On a different note, When do you sleep? And how are you tuned to Uk time?
If that really is a ‘buy’ it’s a dumb one, they paid a 10 % premium. Could have just broken it up in tranches and saved about 20k. That’s why I don’t think it’s a buy.
Chaebol, it’s more likely to be a buy then a sell, judging by the price.
How do you know it was a buy?
£220k after hours buy, and a strong finish in the US, we just need Btc to push up now
