how do we apply to this legal claim if i lost any amount
i sold on the day it went down though
From acorns and all that, rxdav.
RXDAV - I'll ask the same questions to you as RA.
What sort of time frame are you talking about here?
2 years or 3 years, what ever monies £2.5m or £5m will be long time spent and gone.
What happens if Balcombe delivers and Saltfleetby delivers, and perhaps add in some Brockham and Lidsey production?
Remember even in your own words its 2020, the Court Case could be 2021 or 2022 or longer!
Share price could easily be 20p+ by then, are you still going to proceed with the CC then?
And what if you lose the case and ANGUS want compensation???
YL. Red tape is being worked on as we speak as it has been since Feb.
Remember Balcombe only had a 7 day window to prove there was oil. that was the only purpose of going to Balcombe last year, albeit they had a problem with brine not accounted for by the previous drill team, the oil flow has been proved.
Why people are bringing up the planning application and crying that it isn't in. When Angus have told us, August, I can only assume it's Troll effect.
ocelot: I was going to go in at 1.5p - but held out for that extra .005p - could make all the difference eh - LoL? Hope it's all going well for you - I enjoy your posts which are invariably worthy of consideration (even if I don't always agree)?
IMO
Jacksdad: AIM is a tough market - we all know that - but it is supposed to be run by a set of rules (believe it or not). I've made and lost elsewhere - never have I complained previously because any previous loss has been as a result of market forces or the legitimately unexpected - I've no problem with that. However, when there is serious allegations of misconduct (as there is here) then I'm not going to sit around and take a good kicking if I have a way of fighting back. The courts will decide if there was inappropriate activity in share dealing and conduct - I'm happy to let them adjudicate - time will tell.
IMO
Scally: Think I'll fold - LoL
10 at 1.495, now I've looked closer!
Scallywag: "Red tape"
Well, if that's true... then it isn't going to go away any time soon... in fact they will more than likely find themselves tangled up in yet more of it.
Jacksdad:
Whilst all shares on AIM carry risks - the BOD's that prove to be intentionally deceitful towards investors should IMHO be called to account!
Since you never seem to be invested in any share longer than it takes you to grow facial hair... it comes as no surprise that this "fact" does not concern a day trader. ;-)
Your 10 at 1.50 appears to have shocked the market - no trades since, in 30 minutes.
Everything is being pushed through as Sells regardless.
Saw your 10 rxdav and raise you 40,000
Those who invest in AIM shares and can't handle the potential losses they could incur are idiots....simple. Those who then try to start legal proceedings to recoup those losses are not only wasting their time but those of many others. Cut your losses and move on. I hope the BOD and their advisors make them all look stupid.
Well folks - I'm now officially an ANGS shareholder with a whole 10 shares (you'll see it shortly if you haven't L2). I can now crunch the numbers to calculate my total loss and get it off to the legal boffins. For me it's a no lose situation (third party funding - zero cost to litigants) - if you're under water post 28 June Armageddon RNS I suggest you get on board asap (as many have already) - this is actually happening - now (and the calibre of the legal team is truly impressive). I guess I should say GLA at this juncture !?!?
IMO
Red Tape.
Scally,
That's the bit that always raises my eyebrows:
IF Balcombe was such a star asset (as they're now keen to make out) why has it been left abandoned for so very very very long. Why bunny-hop to work on Brockham first instead?
Wouldn't you think anyone in the right mind would have put planning in last year to get this up and running as a priority?!?! Even if ANGS did not have the wherewithal... you would think - at least -their partners would have shown a little more enthusiasm... NO?
And.... as I type... they still haven't even submitted planning, but have said via RNS that there can be no guarantee that any application will go in by end of August!
If this doesn't set alarm bells ringing... seriously... it should!
Balcombe will be flowing for sure but it's sad that the BoD stil haven't submitted the applications to test it. We will have the chance to buy back at 1.2p or less over the next month or two while we wait.
YL difference is Brockham had never been proved either way before Xmas oil or Not.
Balcombe is proved to have oil. Gushing way more than H.H was proved 3 years ago, Now look at H.H. still Gushing oil and would be Gushing more if it wasn't still in testing phase and regulated with OGA quotas.
Which is why I also have UKOG shares.
After the build up to Brockham before Christmas 2018 last year... and now in full knowledge of the dire outcome!!!! I cannot believe there are folk here still willing to pay to ride the same old train carriage into Christmas 2019 on the hope of Balcombe (the NEXT star asset?)
Nothing more than a day-traders delight until INEVITABLE further dilution
Last weeks rise was bound to fizzle out since directors buys usually mean there will be no news for at least 30 days iirc. While it was a positive that some did buy we need more of them to get in to instill confidence.
When you listen to Hollis mention 300Bod he likens it to the H.H well. They are completely different. I think in his head he was thinking of Brockham both almost vertical assesing much the same depth of Kimmeridge.
We know Balcombe is Horizontal.
I wrote to Angus mentioning this and to clarify , as usual No answer.
I'd like to see Hollis being given the heav hoe from Angus, he's another dud same as Brockham.
Scally: Good luck with that (and I still want to know if it's 300bpd or 25% thereof (i.e.75bpd) ANGS is expecting - that truly is an unnecessary unknown - but you would have thought they would have cleared that up asap with a quick tweet post CC if it were the former?). However, after everything I have seen here these last two years or so there is next to nothing that would lead me to believe they will be working Balcolmbe anywhere near this side of 2020 (the one positive is that Captain America has been promoted to tea boy (even though grossly under qualified I reckon)) - LoL. But beware, GL will know this and I wouldn't rule out an earlier than expected placing in advance of any EWT at Balcolmbe to secure the next tranche of salaries thereafter if it is a dud (now where has that happened before?).
IMO
We may agree on BT, but we certainly disagree on Angus. I am very positive on oil at Balcombe, The only issue I have is time, I'm hoping for Q4 this year, if it takes into 2020. they wil probably need more cash. If they haven't got to Balcombe by Christmas then I may well sell out and wait til the next Dilution takes place sometime 2020.
Scally: They will be around long after ANGS have sunk under the waves (as you'll know well) and like you I bought for the very long term primarily for the divi - which whilst likely will be cut (or maybe not?) next year will still yield some 5 or 6% I suggest (down from 8% this year) - has to or it would utterly just decimate the SP. Anyhow - back to our old friend ANGS.
IMO
Crikey scally - I'll take that as a back-handed complement - but one this is for sure - every post of mine is truthful (as Renegade found when he tried to disprove that (and then failed to offer any apology)). However, you'll like this (not a lot though) - I'm going to have to make a minor purchase here (look out for a miniscule buy - not 1 share - that would only bring out the 'look a one share buy merchants') - I have to fully resurrect my ANGS transaction record going back to the very first one (to formally evidence my loss here) and HL only hold records of transactions of those shares no loner held for 12 months (those on HL will know this). Looks like I'm going to become an (unwilling - but necessary) shareholder - albeit likely the smallest one on record. Funny old world eh?
IMO
