Case for NOT investing…..the management.
Mannan... "looking to the future. forget about the past."
That's surely insane? If one adopted and stuck by that philosophy when it came to investing, you'd continually happily throw all your money at any company that came up with any tenuous "jam tomorrow " story, regardless of how many times it had failed to make good on previous "jam tomorrow" stories?
To reprise an analogy I've used before. If Dr Howard Shipman were alive and at liberty today, no matter how many times and how fervently he might assure me that from now on he's honestly going to be an excellent and caring physician, I still wouldn't be signing up my ageing mother to his tender ministrations.
looking to the future
forget about the past
all the ducks are lining up
LS you have missed something - as ever.
Namely, what is it that leads you to ascribe any credibility to George's latest issued set of projections?
Just for balance. The EA have no objection to the sidetrack. Just gone up on the portal.
As already stated to another poster, if the entire level of your research consists of slavishly copy n pasting information issued by ANGS itself, what is it, given ANGS' entire historic track record to date, that gives you any reason to treat anything the company says as being in the least bit credible?
Perhaps you could point to an example of ANGS delivering anything of value that it previously assured shareholders it would, within the timescales that it itself previously communicated to shareholders and at the costs that again it itself previously communicated to shareholders?
Needless to say, no genuine investor would ever take any mere assurance issued by any company as the unquestionable gospel truth. Let alone a company like ANGS that has literally unbroken form of non-delivery.
It’s slightly amusing that a post that talks of potential to get back into the 30-40s gets 7 recommendations , when in reality this is all about drilling a successful sidetrack. If it fails even putting a full stop in front of those figures is going to look generous.
Coin. don't forget SFB is going to have a geothermal 2mw of heat pilot scheme in the transition/ geo section if you haven't seen it on the website.
"Anything produced before then will be at prevailing market prices, Q121 is at 78p/th and Q2 is 50p/th
This is the best bit of news so far imo"
Q121 finished over 2 months ago when there was no gas to sell. Why would the price of gas when there is none for sale be "the best bit of news so far imo"?
another day with good news and the AAAG song and dance continues vehemently. post after post full of trash. 2 pence is coming within a few weeks.
Gkb, Corgi ofcourse lol. I just wish LS will harry up and make Angus 10-bag.
LS, from your mouth and to the genie’s ears … 10 bags from here and I will be ordering a rolls!
Eua
This was. 0.14p. Maybe about 3/4 years ago. I was in there. And sold too early. Then I watched the share was kept rising. All the way up to. 43p. Unbelievable things happened. Now it’s started falling. 50 percent down now from its peak. Lot’s of people are not happy. But they forgot that was. Sub1 share. News can turn around. Any share at anytime
LS I am (obviously) happy for you to disagree - it's your inalienable right to do so.
However, I think the difference of opinion here is on the issue I highlighted as the core. You ascribe some credibility, merit and value to George's latest set of statements and estimates for whatever reasons you like... you must do, since you repeat them often enough.
I and others of like mind ascribe little to no merit, credibility or value to them, with such alternative judgement being based in good part on earned credibility and easily identifiable track record of meeting self-imposed deadlines, coming within self-stated cost estimates and delivering on self-promised assurances.
That's the whole ball of wax in a nutshell.
Yanis It's nice to have a bit of light hearted banter at last, enjoy your dinner later.
BV, lol 7:30 is dinner time … and is not curry today :)
Yanis. do you mean to say you wont carry your curry home to watch it, are you eating out watching footie instead LOL.
Lucky strike. Thankyou for posting normally it's a refreshing change of heart.
Catchup … too late in the evening
We may get a better idea of the method in his madness on Thursday, Is anyone registering or watching catchup.
Mannnan, you cut your losses when they are small. Sometimes you get sucked in with false news and promises and load up. Not easy taking a £60k loss. Some people, like me, are now holding in the hope of some recovery. It does not mean though that they still believe all that comes out of Angus. Waiting in hope of seeing something actually happening.
There’s is always a chance, obviously and that is why you are here - you believe that the SP will go up.
LS George did indeed state those numbers - but that simply doesn't mean anything at all.
The actual and sole relevant question is this: do George's words, statements, promises, assurances and estimates merit any credibility? Has he earned any trust and credibility, with a view to what he has achieved or not to date?
I thought the idea of a forum is to discuss the company's good or bad points without being name called. Can we call a truce so we all make money in the shot or long term whatever each posters investment aim is. GLA
It's so depressingly banal.
A "brand new" person (well, a new ID that's only less than a month old, which is of course not the same) bursts on here making all sort of predictions that are utterly unsupported and unsupportable. When a reasoned counter-opinion is advanced and justified with evidence, what does that brand new ID do? Offer any backing for his outlandish prediction?
Of course not. He just instantly resorts to insulting those with reasoned opinions - because that's all he's can do.
Yawn.
