Yanis. Providing there are no more slippages your 1st gas estimate would be good news to reduce the nasty loan for 3 months before the Hedge!
Taverham, I agree with the NRO but I am more concerned about two things: (1) EA approval and Civil works starting this month (we shall see before Christmas) and (2) equipment delivery slippage. With current schedule I expect Angus to have 1st gas to grid by the second half of March. Further slippage in equipment delivery and will jeopardise this.
TORR,cheers it's only just popped up, MMs playing games.
210k showing as a sell
TORR, Which one is your trade at .69
Yanis, another issue that is critical to the flow into the grid is the NRO that will need to be programmed and agreed with national grid and most likely will require their technicians in attendance. Those guys are in short supply and have their work scheduled weeeks in advance and consequently a slipped deadline might miss the 'agreed date' and more time is lost until resource is available. We shall see.
can buy at 0.69, just had a few more.
HITS
I don’t think there is much doubt they are praying for the EA permission to come before the 17th so they can start the civil works. The question is why have they not got them done yet. The company excuse for this is poor in the extreme. Blaming not knowing the plant size is just plain unbelievable.
I have a hunch that they may be concerned that the EA are going to request the site is upgraded as part of the permissions. We have Balcombe to reference this when they withdrew the 1st PP application when the EA replied stating they would require an upgrade before agreeing to the PP.

Taverham, I agree 100%.
I said that before on a number of occasions - 1st gas end of Feb (as stated in last RNS) is not doable.
If they have employed the right expertise then 1st gas by mid-March/end-March is achievable. If they have not employed the right expertise (a good PMT) then we are in trouble. I hope they have, because performance so far in terms of cost and time estimates has been less than adequate.
Yanis, I think they underestimated the time [ it is national grid] and cost of the network connection and similarly just now they are underestimating the time to commission the various bits of kit they have on order. There is a shortage of technical capability and it is unclear if they have engaged [ and paid for] the support they need .
BV, you know what they say about too many cooks spoil …
A good PMT with a good Project Manager in charge, the latter is the most important.
EchDelta, what they need is a good PMT. They can use a Consultant or Contractor for this and will be money well spent because they will learn for the future.
Yanis. I certainly hope so with all the experts being brought in to assist the project.
Yanis - do it
Contact Lucan - tell him youre ready!
BV, I am not aware of any other similar cases in UK, but what we have here is a very simple, small gas processing plant of 10 MMSCFD max processing capacity. The plant maybe relatively small but the same regulations apply. With the funds being made available, provided it is being handled by technically competent PMT then we should not have any issues. The key is the PMT (Project Management Team).
Yanis best way to make your way £90K back, drive up to Saltfleeby and provide assistance for free
Then youll make the project a success and at 3p laughing!
Cheers Yanis, nice to see you out of the rat race, who and where have other small gas producers reconnected at the same scale if you don't mind sharing the info.
chill we are cooking gas after xmas

BV, I understand the gas industry better than our Technical Director, much better. I am a Chartered Engineer with 40+ years experience in Oil & Gas, from FEED to detailed engineering, technical coordination, installation, commissioning, testing and handover. Experience with Shell, Armco, Qatar Petroleum, BP and Contractors. I was Instrumentation & Control Technical Authority in Qatar Petroleum. Last 16 years in UK with O&G Contractors on onshore & offshore projects. Upstream & downstream. If you guessed it, I recently retired.
And no, the reconnection is not a first of its type - it is simply a first for Angus.
Not much volume so far this morning, looks as if flow back from the placing took place yesterday (for the present, at least!).
Is that the same 'Technical Director' who signed off first gas in August 2020? If so,...
Yanis. Am i correct in saying the SBY gas reconnection is the first of it's type to take place. If so would you expect these delays to happen because you understand the gas industry as much as our Technical Director.
Covid 19 has never happened before either.
