If we DO get our hands on some AMTE assets then I'm sure that's one placing that everyone will be more than happy to subscribe to.
:)
Still works very well against these specimens.
Sorry mate-I missed that so -apologies.I have no connection and I’m under restrictive covenant in the space anyway.
I learned a lot about the space from a standing start a few years ago and sold a company that was in the applications side.
What did I learn?Johnson Matthey exiting the space a few years ago was a massive red flag-highlighting the lack of margin in cell manufacture and the fact that billions were being spent on chemistry innovation.
When I was selling, I remember one of the suitors saying very clearly that there were good pickings to be had in the sector but you had to be smart. He was absolutely right-cells constitute a high proportion of the bill of materials in most applications so even further up the supply chain, margins were pretty low-in our case around 25pc
So AMTE in my opinion fell into the trap of trying to manufacture in a low margin environment, looking to sell into notoriously difficult automotive and energy storage OEMs-therein lies the fundamental problem with this company.
Anyway good luck all-there is nothing here for equity

This is from 28 Nov few years back .Can put value on this .Have ask twice if you have connection s or interest but you haver answered .
After successfully participating in a collaborative research and development competition organised by the government-backed Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC), Deregallera, a subsidiary of DGI plc, has won funding for Cap-Size, a six-month project to evaluate large-scale manufacturing options for a novel material that will significantly reduce the environmental impact of batteries used in electric vehicles.
Cap-Size (Capital Investment in an Anode Manufacturing Plant – a Sizing Study) builds on Deregallera’s achievements, in conjunction with AMTE Power plc, in pilot-scale manufacturing of batteries using the new material.

Please don't tell me, the sad case is up first thing in the morning to waste his time talking to himself on a board He's not even invested in????
Honestly you just canny make it! AMTE end this shxt show so they can nuke this board and all the side line nonces with it ffs
This TRUTH muppet still fretting over a share he has never been invested in. Honestly where do they find these sad cases? I honestly can't wait to get of these boards, they're full of the biggest bunch of weirdos I've ever encountered in my short trading life. Bring back iii investor ffs
Well I know a lot about batteries, applications and supply chains-and I can tell you BV was a joke and to suggest Amte were smart in having a facility in the far north is wrong-why are Envision next door to Nissan?
Automotive supply chains tend to be very close knit post covid-and nobody lives up in Caithness!
This company failed because its business plan was rubbish-plain and simple. To blame external players, like the government, is wrong.Across the world billions are being poured into cell and chemistry development-and AMTE could even raise £4m!That tells you all you need to know
Truth
To compare BV start up 2019 [here can agree with your point for 2%-3% margin as BV nothing more than asembler of battery packs] to AMTE developer and resurcher started 1990 is just out of proportion .
How many of you knew anything about lithium batteries back in 1990 ?
No one here ask about any work they have done with others(do not want to put names :) .There may be some clauses or intellectual properties worth way more than anyone can imagine .Some chemistry as I said before in today world =priceless.
Interesting how all over the world everyone purring billions in the same technology .
We Pi first to get wiped and last to know what is going on behind .Very well timed and orchestrated.
Who is who in this saga just impossible for us to work out .

Britishvolt had their name even mentioned beside Northvolt. I think to aspire for a gigafactory with our workforce might be too ambitious as labour here is very expensive. Thus I believe AMTE factory should be ideal for any sodium battery business. The technology has taken off in popularity knowing it's safer and cheaper. Perhaps advantages of administration is a moratorium although insolvency is dangerously nearby. We can also include WH who seemed to have manipulated share prices by looking at the charts as the sp never really took off because of dumps. We're they short selling to our detriment? I'm no expert but we never really took off. AMTE facility is ideal, it is far and secluded considering the hazards to health and safety should an accident occur.
I know a bit about BV as it’s close to me-a total fantasy. No chemistry, no customers, no facility-just a load of hope on some derelict land. The key players splurged money like you wouldn’t believe on Porsches and high living. The government played a blinder-show us the commercial viability and we will back-answer came there on.As you know, Envision are just down the road and are expanding their facility because they feed Nissan
They're all dodgy cadgees

Hi Hedgehog
It is a stock called Dg Innovate their stock code is DGI. If you read the last few RNS's
you will see the latest developments. ATB!
DG Innovate plc is a research and development company. The Company focuses on sustainable and environmentally considerate improvements in electric vehicle drive and energy storage technologies. Its activities are divided into two areas: Enhanced Drive Technology (EDT) and Enhanced Battery Technology (EBT). EDT provides electric motors and associated power electronic drive systems. The Company's electric drive technology platform, Pareta consists of a motor, high power inverter and control electronics, with a multi motor/inverter architecture. EBT is sodium-ion batteries that offer sustainable energy storage with energy density similar to or greater than current technologies with increased safety and reduced environmental footprint. The Company's energy storage technology encompasses a family of hard carbon anode materials produced from a sustainable bio waste product, specifically developed for use in sodium-ion batteries, with applications in existing lithium-ion battery production.
Hi, what’s DGI ??? Interested to research ….
Thanks
It's like Britishvolt Truth, they wanted £1.7B from government but we're learned to just spend it on everyday affairs. So such must have been for AMTE that they had the company for a milking cow but unlike Britishvolt who had a couple of customers lined up waiting already. Still a controversy prevails on Britishvolt and it seems they've not come back in business yet. So as most foreign acquisitions it seems better to just pay and not bid if one can't actually afford.
Sorry for all here who may lose their investment... BUT
You can offset your total loss against future capital gains tax.
To do this you must declare your loss on your next return,
it can be carried over so if you carry on investing and have better
luck in the future you can potentially get your money back!
Many over at DGI think they might be the potential bidder here,
worth looking at them as 3 ex Tesla Executives have joined the Company
and have made some great progress in a short period. DYOR but that
could grow very quickly, for transparency I am invested there.
GLA !
FRP should be allowed to do their job-they will be preparing a report which will cover director conduct
Sadly there is no box on the report forms for being stupid
Let’s face it, they have been looking for £4m for nearly 8 months-and got nowhere because of the state of the balance sheet and the revised plan which I thought was poor-and I told them at the time
