To ami. It's been a painful lesson and one I will not forget. Lucky I have made a good amount back else where, still down though. Good luck everyone here hope you can all restore your portfolios, if not from ami then somewhere else. One bitten twice shy. SL will be added to my don't touch with a barge poll list as well as a few other things.
To see the info on shorts and sells by our good honest board when this is divulged
They were too busy trading out while we were trading in off the back of their faulse imformation in their rns
Thanks for responding Oldfool1939.
All agreed when Timis bought London Mining, we were fed lies for over a year. Absolute jokers!!!
I strongly believe that this deal was completed in Jan but my only hope is that with a legal team in place SISG and the SL Gov might want to keep us quite by paying for our shares. I think the administrators are just a smoke screen to show that the company has followed protocol.Complete BS.
Every suitor was waiting for AMI to go to admin. I'm hoping that at the auction someone will make an offer better than SISG's. I know IO price at the moment is very low but Tonkolili has 60 years mine life and also AM'sI rail and port, power plant are worth $400M at least.
4unme - I tend to agree, but only if Glencore or any other potential suitor saw a compelling case to buy Tonkolili. The question is, would they see it? Were we, along with SISG and everyone else, sold a pup by Timis? For sure, there is the JORC and we can all look up the stats on that. But Timis has form in bigging up his 'discoveries' - look at the history of Regal Petroleum, another of his 'ventures'. And the game has changed, IO sits below $60 with little prospect of much improvement in the next few years. It's a hard one to call, but we've had no intimation of interest from third parties, despite the brave words out of AML these last few months.
And also, as I've said before, no-one will want to get involved in AML's 75% share because no-one will want to have SISG as 25% partners. That's why there will be only one bid, from SISG. ================================ GLEN will not be afraid of SISG. They will eat them alive.
Grant79- Lets hope the administrators don't give in and auction our assets.
Grant said: "Never going to happen SISG want this for themselves... Deal is done." And also, as I've said before, no-one will want to get involved in AML's 75% share because no-one will want to have SISG as 25% partners. That's why there will be only one bid, from SISG.

Yeah, someone need to remind them, there are other assets they can buy.
Just commented as much on the "This is Money" site.
should buy AMI assets. http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-3027903/Mining-giant-Glencore-weighs-new-bid-rival-Rio-Tinto.html
I,m still happy to pay the £150 to find out at lest if we have a case, its the only hope I have of maybe seeing something back, I do not think we will be in Deloitte thoughts in any way so my hopes is on the legal side! The sooner we can start it the better as this has dragged on for to long already, We all need closure with this but that time has not come yet! We just need the chance to fight them and gain hope!

From a poster bottom of the page Sierra Leone Telegraph: 6 April May be its time we did something ! "We need to stop Koroma and his thieves right now. They need to know that we need democracy to prevail. We are full citizens of Sierra Leone. We are planning a massive demonstration in WASHINGTON DC on April 11. Please come and join us, and let Obama know that he had invited a dictator and a big old thief to the people’s White House. What an error! Let us keep fighting for our rights until we get rid of these thieves. We cannot be quiet".
Thanks for all the reasonably cheery posts these last months. Soon be over for us. I'm like you, not a bona fide shareholder having only CFD's. However, saying that, IG have said I'd get anything shareholders get which I'm not holding my breath over. 4unme - SL is getting a lot of stick about corruption and rightly so. Think the Ebola crisis is still abating contrary to some things in the article as 'new cases' are running at only about 0 - 4 a day now. Good luck with any legal proceedings you can bring.
Actually, the curtain has not yet fallen on the fat lady; that will only happen whet Deloitte confirm that the cupboard is bare after all the mice have eaten, to mix a few metaphors.
Fat lady has sung. Money gone. God luck with court case all. I really cant face shelling out more money so haven't joined. Hope u all get result. Officially out of aim market for me. Still wake in the morning wondering how I ever got into this situation.
Jinko You need to post details of your current holdings with screenshot showing your broker details and the amount paid to ami_holdings@hotmail.com and agree to contribute £150 towards legal costs and then Grant will send you private bb login details.
I do like an optimist. Only $500m+ in the queue before us.
