A certain cpap, on the Top Traders thread for Professionals, this morning was posting that he heard, read; Rumours of a major deal @ AMED When I asked him his source, he said, from twitter & LSE. I haven't seen any mention on LSE. Even without above, our M/C should be a lot higher anyway. I believe, our Offshore yard, will be involved in a clean energy vessel/LNG deal next year, & maybe another rig construction deal. Plus MGR should have performed a great deal better with help from the loan & copper investment. Would be nice to hear from the long awaited rig sale(payback) into our offshore yard JV partners, before year end too.
The reality is that the top four own 81% and they haven't sold a single share since their original purchases, Mena ar 100p and the other three, including Qatar Investment Corporation, at 50p. So that leaves just c6.3m shares to trade. In reality, the figure is a lot less than even that! Watch for further premium and delayed trades. Volume is going to be very good today. Excellent infact.
of which around 20m not in public hands
ALL blue
just try and buy upon the news!
tick up(s) ahead. Only 4 mm's control this stock - 2 blue, 2 to go
Stake in a producing copper mine too!! Freefloat is 19%.. !!
Net assets at last report: $17.7m (including cash in bank of $1m) Shares in issue: 33m (of which around 20m not in public hands) $17.7m = 13.3m. 33m shares @ 40p each. even assuming a 50% placing to add an addtional 17m shares = 50m total would still give 26p per share NAV (+ the the value of cash raised as banked cash. Current SP <20p.
Yes I will be adding. AMED are in a growing region with major investors and with the base metal sector improving they will be looking to grow the business from the current 4m cap
Knicol has done some good research which shows this is well undervalued. Have decided to dip my toes in here.
Pre Close will be due in a few weeks and no doubt news of the rig. Copper doing well for MGR as well and liquid assets cover the MC.
sp +23%, something brewing
difficult buying
Wow.. Amed way undervalued!!
Oh dear decaying rigs...! Wonder how all the north oil sea rigs have last so long in all that salt water lol.
Yes apologies, we await his considered reply.
Howdelp... I just want an answer from Superlucky..! I am in invested and wondering what his thoughts are.
inclusive of cash on the balance sheet, loans to MGR Resources, investment in GKC copper mine and of course the yard and Explorer-1 jackug rig. That said, I am sure those MM's will be happy to take stock at these depressed levels. Amusing posts though, Peer and Superlucky, albeit lacking in research. People following this stock. know there is no debt and are aware of the risk/reward opportunity. However, each to their own,
8p??
Super lucky.. placing coming??? What price?
Accumulate sharesdo they, really
Pleased by sellers ? Board holding out for a higher price ratherr than selling the dormant and decaying rig lol, good luck
Yes another very interesting article. I agree our BOD are holding out for a high price, given its deep water specification. Re our seller today, I was pleased the market absorbed it. I suspect the market makers will accumulate at these low prices and be very quick to move it up, as investors nibble. That said, it is all just noise to me, newsflow and volume will move this sharply higher. I await the 7am RNS machine.
As I suggested months ago, I believe our Offshore yard could be delaying/holding-out(negotiating) for an increasingly better price for our high spec rig, as months pass. We've not been told the latest on whether it's still for the purchaser, mentioned 21 December last year, or whether a new buyer has emerged. However, as this link suggests, the rig market continues to improve. https://www.bassoe.no/jackup-rig-values-to-rise-further-on-back-of-market-moving-deal/news/63/ Interesting howdlep. Seemed someone wanted out today
