No I agree Dorset.
I was thinking there might be some price action in the near to medium term, but if we have to wait 6-12 months so be it
Though I’m hoping federated will give us some good news before the c band auction though. From a personal view point it’s be nice to move into profit :-)
My b/e is 43p
I think it would be too early to sell or float FW.
We’ve still got the C-band auction coming up in December which again will make the market for FW services even bigger.
Hopefully FW are loading up with customers after the CBRS auction and will get even more after the C-band auction. Give it 6-12 months after that to see what revenue is being created and that would be a good time IMO to float/sell. That kind of ties in with the timescales reported in the last annual results which said up to three years to mature.
Until then there might not be much to interest short term traders. This provides good opportunity for longer term investors though. I’ll be using it as an opportunity to continue buying whilst the SP is so low.
All in my opinion, other views are welcome!
I’m not ramping . . .
Does it seem too convenient that we’ve seen a price drop 2 days running on low volume and it’s coincided with the CBRS auction results?
Verizon spent big - net payment almost $2 billion
2nd place miles behind on $912 million.
Anyone else think something’s coming?
Sorry to sound like a broken record . . .
The buying and selling patterns for ALM are by far the most interesting of all the stocks I hold and have held.
Check out the buying at 16:29 - it lasted for a mere 30 seconds. All automated buys for various amounts
In itself not hugely interesting but I've not seen anything like it in ages
Little comfort from results in my experience of Alm, but we all know that they have to keep the plates in the air until someone takes over. Suppose there could be a surprise like a new valuation on Fed, Spin, but then that probably would just add to the Reduction to NAV. Anyway don’t expect much and you won’t be disappointed.
Thanks j
I did check 2018... that was 27th sept.
Cheers, however last years date was published quite early not seen anything from the company this year bit odd imo
Last years update landed the on 26th Sept so give or take a few days either side of that I'd say.
It’s a good board this
I’ll miss it once I’ve ten bagged ;-)
Do you know the date the half year results jan-June are to be announced? Cheers ggs
Also look at the volume of shares traded today. The numbers are tiny. Little trades can swing the share price quite a lot here at the minute. This doesn’t change the companies fundamentals. As was said previously, this share will need patience but I believe it will reward those who stick with it.
I am very much in agreement with Scoutt - patience is key here
Although could it be the MM's shaking the weak out?? Occasionally MM's will drop the price for very little reason to pick some cheaper shares up before news lands?
News on the results on the CBRS auction are due in the next few weeks I think. Then I'm hoping that'll mark the start of some real progress for Federated
GLA
Last couple of weeks we’ve seen up to 5% drops first thing, even before first trade, don’t be too alarmed MMS have to be seen to be busy. News when it comes should be transformative, but it might not come for a while so either bail or look in occasionally. Not a share to look at 5 times a day. Sit tight patience will be rewarded handsomely.
No I dunno
It’s not news related. It has been loitering around 43/44 for quite a while now
Maybe people think it’s ran out of legs for the time being??
Anybody have any idea why we faced a drop?
Patience is a virgin
my gut tells me Fed and Spin are going to be winners
And I hope that will translate well once ALM dispose of them
Its one of only two stocks that i hold that i consider a real investment, where patience is the key to success
Good luck to all us LTH's
As Warren once said, impatience is the quickest way of transferring money, from the impatient to the patient. Everyday we see a few shares bag or multi bag so a share that does up down for a few weeks seems boring. In the passed couple of weeks I’ve had Syn 500 %in a day, Syme 200% in a day, and Gpss 30% for 3 consecutive days so Alm along with others seem sedate, even gold is doing %’s a day. ,Strange times, so it’s uninflatable Commodities, COVID-19 solutions or technology for me. Sometimes you have to stick with your gut instincts, it just takes longer to happen than you generally think.
Just 24 bidding days after it kicked off, the CBRS auction has closed, raising $4.585 billion. More than 91.1% of available licenses had winning bids – 20.625 out of 22,631 total licenses, the FCC said.
Really tempted mate. I probably would have if it had stayed at 44 this morning. It bounces down then back up at the end of the day and I don’t get a chance to sell
I think you should do yourself a favour Nuck and sell
I'm at break even and I know your B/E was lower than mine
AMGO is pretty lively atm, you could try day trading it if youre brave enough ;)
Its rather risky IMO!
So much for the march onto 60p as predicted by the so called financial expert in the press a few weeks back. Just another example as if we needed any that those guys a rarely correct.
Patience is a Virgin Echo. I lost mine a long time ago
