Morning Yanis
There were some very lumpy buys yesterday. If...upward movement continues you could bet that good news is heading our way. I still think that very soon we will hear from them regarding financing. Ms Henson must have been brought on board for some reason, because i fail to see what she brings to ALBA otherwise.
Yes, indeed. Right news, at the RIGHT time!
Morning TullyCrow,
Alba is very undervalued atm, but no sentiment, destroyed after the last 2 RNSs.
Volume is relatively low atm andI hope we get a spark to reignite buying sentiment but will take substantially more interest to move up. Personally I am not expecting anything now until we get a GOOD RNS.
As I posted earlier, the 0.30p level was a very strong support that lasted for over 6 months. Now it turned into resistance and will take very good news to break above it. Hopefully, the assay results from the surface drills (expected soon) will provide the catalyst to break through 0.30p and propel us higher. Fingers crossed and GLTA.
You're quite right Elir, 2-3 weeks. And the share price back then was, oh, surprise, surprise .54p. Now, if there is gold, wouldn't it be so much juicier to pick shares up at circa half that price before an announcement? Stupid question, I know. Of course it would. Twice as good. Twice as much bang for your buck! Double G&Ts all round, what say?
Limits looking very good, wouldn't take much for us to go blue. Let's see if yesterdays trading carries on into today, and hopefully the rest of the week.
They have and are quick to release news but it has to be the right news at the right time this is where they struggle!
Alba said they are peppering the new known quartz zones plus processing the pitting. One thing for sure is Alba have been very busy and are quick to announce good news. I’m going to keep the faith and believe they have put parts of the jigsaw together. Alba have kept extremely positive throughout the DGB and it’s the money men who are spreading fear and doubt. If Greenland is happening this year people will want to get in on the action. I would like to see the gold processing plant in action and some visible gold.
2-3 weeks to turn around assay results according to GF
same as what I estimated back in October .... to some considerable derision at the time I recall
as and when the assays are completed...you mean those assays we've been waiting months and months for? assays which in all honesty take nowhere near that long to conduct. there are lots of companies out there that can turn assays around in the relative blink of any eye as far as I can tell. now then, let's just say, well, lets just imagine a few possible scenarios shall we? here's just one...what's one of the main reasons for a share price suddenly plummeting or taking off for no apparent reason? yep, indeed, that's the bunny.
We were all pi55ed off when this went under 0.4 ....I’m still pi55ed off. Won’t be happy until it breaks past 1p. Lots of news to come which could make the pennyplus a reality but this is Alba....another pd before placing is the norm.
the main lode extension was found by underground drilling (i.e. drilling from existing workings)
The surface inclined drilling of phase 2 seeks to confirm that main lode extension and confirm that it is continuous throughout its length and to confirm that there exists mineralisation, although the grade would not be reliably deduced from that as core samples are too small for nuggety deposits to form a representative sample
Ladder— The Llechfreith lode is contained within the Clogau mine. That lode continues toward the St. Davids mine where the recently auctioned nugget was found, this is at a higher level than Clogau and above which is where the phase two drilling is taking place and should not have any water issues.
don't forget they started driling again - and in an are they think is an extension of the main lode. Quite possibile to drill straight through some and have a core of gold......
With regard to the news that had the biggest upward effect on share price. I would say the exploration licence granted late July 2020 when the share price began to rise sharply. Once the Llechfraith de- watering licence is granted by NRW that will have the same effect. Don’t forget visible gold was seen here before it was abandoned because of flooding. That gold is still there, it hasn’t gone away. The indications are that there have been no objections raised, at least not any in the public domaine.
Nothing really changes though, we will have to wait for the results and then see which way things go over the next year or two
Mmm such concealment and evasiveness does suggest a shorter lead is needed and beadier eyes
i had thought that myself, although he has lowered our expectations on the bulk samples even though no official numbers have been produced, these will only be produced as and when the assays are completed following the processing. there was still 21t to be processed which is still the lions share, and of course if they had been processing the first batches from the mine floor as opposed to the samples cut from the targeted veins then you would expect poorer initial results.
and i agree these things do happen
@mickymix
What event of the last 12 months made a most positive impact on shareprice
Ans what event the most negative
Wouldn't it be interesting if this keeps rallying and then, lo and behold, surprise, surprise, who would have thought it, they really and truly have found gold after all. And lots of it. Makes you wonder, does it not, if maybe, just maybe, certain boots are now being royally filled before such a 'surprise' announcement? Think quite a few of us have been around the block enough to have seen the aforementioned more than once.
