ajbell since the sp rise has a similar pe as hargreves landsdown and that has about 2% yield , so maybe just a growth stock
...also the old adage what goes up must come down.. may apply here..
Just sold out at 2.92 but have kept the gain of 1500 shares, will keep these very long term in my sipp. Unsure of the dividend forecast in the prospectus but this has a sting balance sheet and cash generation.
hit £3 today :p
NO major upsets which is great..............seems to have settled very nicely with good investor confidence.........can see this at 3£ in next few months GLA
160p was q good price for the IPO..
232p on 17 Dec 10 days later + 45 % must be the best IPO for years.
And in very bad market conditions last few weeks . ( not available ii )
This share could take a while to settle with everything that's going on at present........brexit etc.......But see AJB as a good share to hold for the future............already a well managed and profitably outfit I remember when Hargreaves llansdown floated and look how well they have done........one for the top drawer GLA
Same here, applied for £2500 received £1400, topped up a day later but hesitated waiting to see if it dropped back, ended up paying today's price
I reckon so, I applied for £2k worth and got about £1200, it was well over subscribed with an awful lot of interest with professional investors, I think we were lucky to get what we did, I remember IPO's in days gone by when a lot of people got no shares at all ...
Did everyone else get scaled back to half they applied for as I did.
Very hopeful for ajb.
Looking back over today's trades is anyone in a position to explain why there were so many duplicate trades at the same price and exact quantity ''s but executed at different times, albeit a min or two later
Hey Johnny,
I got a reward for recommending a friend, they have to invest a minimum of 10k for 90 days I believe. AJB paid cash into my bank account.
Assume at this level is in the 250 and will therefore have the trackers having to buy. With the shares tightly held they should go up on admission.
Been using them for 6 years now and I really appreciate them as a business. They have made huge progress in making trading as user friendly as possible through their online platform and smartphone app. With Andy Bell leading the way, this can repeat the success of HL.
If you trade through LSE using their broker Jarvis there's no charge for holding your ISA
Re last posting, SEN have sold half holding in AJB in the float so adding to their cash and retaining 3.2% of the trust in AJB. Don't wish to mislead!
I have held Seneca Global (SIGT) for ages and they have 3.5M of these beauties standing at pre-float estimates.
Have a look at their established policy which is spot-on. Naturally losing right now on my inv, but LTH. Will be a top performer in 18 months time and the dividend is just fine. To those who bought AJB, well done. Quality stock but I envisage just the same rough ride for now.
£7.50 is the max Quarterly (not monthly) charge for an ISA - it's 0.25% of value p.a. so below £12k in your ISA it's less than that - there are lower dealing charges available elsewhere, but I struggled to find a lower custody charge.
I've been with this firm for just over two years and in that short time they continue to enhance service and the APP is great... not in this much at IPO but for me, its a keeper..
160p... unconditional on 12th Dec , unlucky the price announcement day after massive fall in markets .
how long do they take to withdraw?
What is so great about it.
Bigger delay then most others withdrawing funds, and £7.50 per month charge .
Nice start. Long term hold
Great service ...lol
