talk about missing the whole of the pipeline!! lol
Splodge,
Dbv should get approval once the FDA have been reassured about the adherence of the patch ... The EMA have no problems with the efficacy of the adherence so we will see what happens in the very near future ...
I am sure most sufferers would prefer to just get a vaccine jab if one was available but the timeframe involved from the preclinical to the end of a P3 is at least 5 years IMO and would have to have HUGE money invested
Best of luck to all
When you say it like that I guess it makes sense . 24p from 7p would be profit to some and then they might re invest elsewhere , BUT then I guess another person comes along and buys at 22p everyone is different and as you say all want to make a profit . I see 1 large trade went through today too .
Hi Guys,
I wouldn't be too concerned with buys or sells. People sell and buy for many reasons, you just have to ask yourself has anything changed fundamentally in the company?
There are people here that have been long from 7p , people that have been long from the mid to late 20s from years ago - both could have legitimate reasons to sell. There are many opportunities in the market right now and everyone is looking for that quick gain.
Imagine you've been holding AGY for years and it's been crawling it's way up bit by bit. Meanwhile your buddies down the pub are making 1000% returns in bitcoin or tech stocks or goodness knows what else. If these people now sell does it mean they see a fundamental shift in the company fortunes or do they simply see better opportunities elsewhere?
Personally, if I go back to the valuation when the SP was at 28p years ago I think it is so much better now and that is not reflected in the valuation. Perhaps AGY marketing should be doing a better job (or any job) at getting this across in the market.
Right now the company has more going for it than it has for years and I believe 2021 could be transformational. But I accept other shareholders may see better opportunities elsewhere.
I agree with you Scored, a £12,000 trade is a lot of money to most private investors (inc me) but not to institutional investors wanting to add to or reduce their position. Looking at the trades during the past week or so, I see nothing to get excited or alarmed about. If you look at how the price has moved over the past few months, a rise of 1-3p has been followed by a backward move before going back up again. My guess is that the price will drift down now before going back up again but it won’t be too long before 30p is reached, especially if the next RNS is positive.
I am encouraged by the Chinese now owning a big chunk of shares and by a pipeline that continues to show promise.
All imo of course.
HI all i pointed out we had a fifty k seller yes 50k is not a lot to you however loads of 50k sells are not brilliant . YOU say 50k is not a lot well to a poor person its a fortune to some its like a penny .ATB
Hello Newbiebuyer. It is not shares sold or up for sale, it is shares traded. An assumption whether a share is bought or sold is based on the price traded. When the bid/offer spread is small, a trade shown as a buy can sometimes be really a sale and vice versa, which can give a false impression.
Not sure what Scored is getting excited about, a 50,000 share trade here is significant but no big deal and not sufficient to query why. If it helps, I have sold 50,000 and bought 50,000 in the last couple of days (moving from Fund & Share account to an ISA) and both transactions have been shown as buys (or sales, can’t recall which!), not one of each.
I have been with AGY for a few years now and am confident the existing pipeline will richly reward existing shareholders.
All imo of course!
AT the moment we have a regular 50000 share seller - THE market makers who buy the shares are taking so hopefully all is good . NO problems if your stuck for a answer leave a message on board someone will answer if i cant .ATB
Excuse my ignorance here but is that shares SOLD or up for sale ? Thanks
Busy today wonder who is selling down
JUST added at 24 for me agy will be a slow burner however i can see a move over 30p soon ,MM CONFIDENT on the 50k seller they soak them up gla
50K SELLER HERE wonder why
The DBV patch was refused approval by FDA and AGY has a potential permanent vaccine solution. Aimmune (nestle's treatment) is an immune treatment which you can never stop taking - basically microdosing peanuts. As a peanut allergy sufferer myself I would prefer the AGY treatment over the other two even if its years away. If it works it'll be like magic!
Were overheating . However this gem has so much going for it this year . 50P target by brokers
After the bell at 23.50 gla
Scored,
Agy is way behind on the peanut allergy market imo
You have Nestlé already approved and DBV technologies which should get approval for their patch in the coming year ....
Anyway , I will take another look at the pipeline to see if I have missed something
23.5 we see agy is so undervalued
AGY is up the top for being undervalued .I doubt there is another company like this on the aim .IF THERE is let me know . 22 years constant growth not many have that - AGY will end up a divi payer imo . IF you like check out other pharma some have a mkt capt of 300 million plus and no profit .EVERY year they are losing money like it goes out of fashion . AT least here it has great products etc to pay its way .ONLY need another product then 50p will be blown out the water . OK over the years share price has been poor but i feel thats about to change as people wake up to this gem .DECIDED will add 20k monday as cant see how i can be wrong .gla
AGY aren't terribly good at tooting their own horn, e.g. like ORPH - they get on with the job and when you examine the company you really do get an idea of what a quality operation this is. It has been overlooked, for sure, but these things don't last forever and yes a rerating will come maybe on the back of trial results.
RERATED
OPEN was very kind to me in at 6p but as you know profit taking is good when you have a nice paper profit . IM new here but im surprised we are at 23p compared to others who have no cash no products etc . I feel agy will be reated if good news in june
the only other I was looking at was ORPH, but that's already had a pretty good run this year.
The peanut mkt
People will start buying as word spreads .Agy is so undervalued -FULLY FUNDED for the future . A LOT of pharmas burn a lot of cash with no income .Well agy has a income i cant think of many aim companies with our cash reserves . THIS is a holder for the future like a couple other pharma i have . THE future is bright here it must rerate to the 35 plus . The peanut kmt for allergy is worth 8 billion dollars .Thing is with these little gems you dont need loads of shares to do well . ATB have a good day paul fg -- Paul any other pharma you recommend
Very good summary on state of play in company. Note slide 12 we should get results from VLP Peanut in vitro human cell trail by end of June. I expect this will be the next major announcement, unless you know who takes out another loan against his stock.
