Another awesome day for AFC shareholders! The future is looking very bright for this one now - more announcements in the pipeline, a market crying out for the technology and teamed up with world players Rolec and De Nora. Just want to say thank you to BumbleB and those who kept faith in the earlier part of the year when it was a struggle to keep perspective, and thanks to Chippyjo for organising the PI 'collective'. I would agree with BumbleB, the most important thing with this company is to read into the RNS and make your own judgement of the potential and keep faith in it because we don't always know the motives of posters. I reckon we will see this head north of 50p soon and who knows it could go massive - when these tech companies come good, they come really good!
Actually Barnacles, there have been times in the past 2-3 years when positivity has deserted me. I did not go to the 2017 AGM because I was so cross, and it was reports from Doc7 and Notes that turned me back positive, and then in the last year your posts kept the optimism flowing.
It’s not that I am stupidly positive, I just prefer to discuss my concerns off board and reason them through, which Strontium had to suffer and latterly Eddie.
You had me down as a bloke called echoes for a while Notes, I just goes to show how we can get things wrong. I broke even at 9p a while back so gobsmacked at the minute, can this run on? Top man, I think it will for a bit yet!
Hi Notes. Totally agree. I’ve maintained my faith in AFC based on belief in the tech and the good it could bring to the world. It’s British and also has a lot of potential for job creation. I’ve tried to rebuff the gloom and doom of those that attempt to drive the share price down on the basis that none of us know what’s going on behind the scenes.
Anyway I hope we can maintain this positive run to a fair share price that reflects the IP and the potential that lies ahead. Once we get that warranty and orders, we’ll be at a whole new level I’m sure.
Good luck all and thanks to all the regular posters who’ve helped me remain positive. :)
Gotta ask though, is AFC really worth £115 million in its current form? Honest question.. i've not know a sustained rise like this without a solid reason.... Not complaining just know that aim likes to give you a kick in the balls as soon as you feel confident...
AHH sod it, I'm going to let this ride and come to its natural conclusion and stay in, if it retraces so be it..no locking in profits or top slicing.. got to be in it to win it. That report seems to have a lot to do with it and it's based up to 2024, lets see where we are by then... Gla

We had a solid rise in 2010, based on MOUs and spin, it was sustained, and for sometime people were suggesting it was about to run out of steam. It eventually made it from 17p to 70p, though with <100 million shares, and the mcap is now greater I think. In 2015 there was a similar rise, though that was fuelled by the Lanstead agreement. Again it went on for longer than expected.
Warning signs are the increased rate of increase every day, but it is difficult to know when it will run out of steam
I recall a similar rise with Acta. From around 17 p again I think, to around 70p. I sold out at 28 p and cursed, but put myprofits into AFC. A year or so later Acta were bust....
Agree Southerhay like Bumble I was pretty solid throughout the doom mongers Toy Story Jgbb etc. Lost a bit of faith a few months ago but pleased this is on an upward curve. Sadly I was one of those stupid investors that bought £180ks worth at 51p average so I have far to go. I am not resentful of those that have come in recently as this was always a game and one had to be prepared to lose - if not don't play. I am not bothered about the day traders as we all have our strategy and bills to pay. Hopefully at some point I will see my 51p and get back in the black like many on here. I do hope some fireworks are being let off somewhere.
3rd time lucky for AFC then BumbleB!? This time it's gonna hold! I hope :) ATB
Is afc worth 115m in its current state.
I think it is and too a big company like BP, probably a helluva lot more.
Its impossible to actually try and value it just now but the tech looks fantastic, getting applauded by industry peers, parts have been classed as 'disruptive' and its in high value industries so its got every chance.
115m is a lot of money but its peanuts if you gain some traction in these type of markets and with denora fully on board and a warranty coming we could be worth 10 times this very soon imo.
AFC has been heavily de-risked as an investment opportunity over the two years I have held the share which is partly reflected in the latest rise in the share price. At present the potential upside of the share far outweighs the downside risks.
Upside:
• Shortly unveiling EV charger to the public
• External factors are very much in AFC’s favour
• Backing by industry leaders
• Potential short-term licensing income
• Future products already being matured for further growth
• Potential interest from multinationals?
Risks:
• Funding?
• Competition?
• Making deals with an economic return?
All my opinion of course.
Do we know if Adams Options are still alive st 51p?
