Remember that on the AFC site, there is a mention of 'bespoke systems, tailored to the customers needs'
The bespoke word will no doubt catch many a potential customers attention.
Not on the list yet but watch this space .

Off grid EV charging in remote locations .....absolutely ...bring it on .
Woke up this morning hoping for some positive news. Profound news at that. This is fantastic, juicy, full of surprises which I didn’t expect. Well done all at AFC. Our time has come. Bring it on!
ATVB
Great PR! "Contract reflects an initial one year agreement with a down-payment payable upon order, and subsequent payments recognised when equipment is made available reflecting the unique nature of this showcase series."
Must admit that on first sight, I was slightly disappointed, as I was hoping for a multiple system contract, but after seeing the range of these races and obviously the PR I became more positive.
Then when I read the fully integrated system re the electrolysis producing the hydrogen, plus of course the use for the only emission (water), I became still more positive.
As to taking over 6 months from talks to contract, I wonder how may more of all those interested potential customers, are approaching contractual state.
As to Daz, comments............Whats wrong with pointing out a fact.
It is up to ourselves, to judge what weight to put on the mute point he bought up.
Hopefully as these races will have, like all such events, to be planned well ahead, AFC Energy will require sufficient upfront (pre first race) payments, followed by tightly tied in subsequent monies.
Good publicity for both AFC and Extreme, but just imagine the bad PR for Extreme, if they either tried to back track or failed to uphold their part of the contract.
Well done AFC and true to form they pull out something from the left field an agreement that none f us would have predicted!!!
First of many to be released in due course one hopes!!!
Bananaman, I think that you are right that AFC will have worked hard with this contract due to the PR and exposure but I get the feeling, as AB said in his last interview, that there are a lot of irons in the fire. I suspect that today's RNS and the fundraiser will speed up the process! Nothing instant but potential customers will also want to benefit from first mover advantage for their own PR purposes.
Great RNS, publicity, large world audience, water can be used in site you can not get much greener than this. looking forward to more RNS and a steady rise in the share price.
It wont be long before the market becomes aware of the wider benefits of AFCs technology.
Fortunately for those invested absolutely nothing priced into the SP for multiple future opportunities.
Plenty of money in the bank. Cash is king on AIM.
Being in the right place at the right time comes very much into mind.
FCI, Of the 500 enquiries they have obviously elected to worked with Xtreme E because of the high profile potential and fantastic PR that may be on offer.
I appreciate formula 1 and rally driving are staggeringly popular sports but with the environmental impact and the drive towards greener alternatives Formula E and now Xtreme E may eventually be the only alternative.
Really is a a great 'collaboration'
Looks good, will get the name out there if nothing else. Surprised geopura never pick this up from goodwood.
The first of many NDAs to be advanced ....fantastic news ....
DW get a life man. For years you’ve been calling fo AFC to improve PR and when we have a contract that will be brilliant for PR on a global scale you diss it. You’re a confirmed deramper!
Note that discussions started in January 2020 so it has taken 6 months to get here, which is not unexpected. With 500+ enquiries having been worked on, even if only a few of them are as comprehensive as this then we will all understand what has been keeping the company so busy during the long wait since the roadshow!
Just waiting for tradegate to wake up to this, including the electrolysis bit (remember that electrolysis link I dug up recently?), especially with the EGM questions and next funds coming along in the coming days.
Yes. Well done afc and lth :-)
Gla
Yes, A closed loop systems as well.
Even using the water.
Brilliant
Very good for PR. Excellent job.
This is the start. AFC are out the blocks.
Great news
Fantastic news, well done !
Great for Pr!
Had missed the electrolysis piece. Truly amazing RNS.
A contract! The first of many, I suspect, now that AFC has the funds required and now that the first order has come through. There really could be a stampede to get into this game changing technology now, to avoid a long wait that might face those late to the negotiating table.
As for the share price, the other firms like CWR/ITM/Ballard show that there is an awful lot of headroom here. Interesting times.
Hang on - we’re also producing green hydrogen? That’s absolutely incredible!
Water produced as by product to be used on site
