We all have our methods ogggs, I'm on a free holding now and won't be adding.........until we sell something? Time is on my side ;-)
It's a trial in another sector next year... I'm a long term holder as well and hope we'll get there but we need validation of the various products from third parties before I can see it really flying. In the meantime I'm topping up now and again. Not all perfectly timed but I'm more or less at 100% gain now.
Err one of its prototype products banaman
I feel fine, and I'm not complaining at all about the share price, simply pointing out that it's not where it should be and that I expect it to be where it should be within the next 12 months, and just like I've waited for that for 12 years, I can definitely wait another year, or two, or even longer if necessary.
If you mean frustrated then yes. Why would a long term holder like myself not be frustrated to see other green tech companies rising 7% in the day based in nothing and my investment fall back after breaking into another sector for one of its products. Doesnt make sense.
It's a bit odd that people who appear to be long term holders with high price targets are so bothered about the price movement for half a day
Haggis, we have been saying this for 10 years yet AFC are the only ones to have devalued the business. I am completely in agreement that this has huge potential to be multiples of where it has stagnated. I just wish for my own and every other long term holder that this happens soon. We must get out of the 20's above the 50's and into the 70's soon. I dont blame the management. I think they have been very active in finding customers. The technology developments have been fantastic and I would place this above CWR although they have very different target markets I would expect that to upscale the CWR product to compete with an AFC product would be to costly for the customers. That is why I feel the superior product with greatest potential is here.
banaman,
My thoughts exactly!!
AFC needs a rerating but the MM's won't let it until they have squeezed RA and Schroeder's out of the market at a low price, after all, the MM's know they are selling a large amount of stock, why give them an early Christmas by bumping the price up now. Once they are gone the price will be walked up on low volume and in big leaps on news, so the MM's make the profit on any stock they and their mates are keeping now.
This is a perfect buying opportunity for PI's looking for a 10 bagger over the next year.
CWR and ITM might gain 50% or even 150% but they are already so high that they won't be 10 baggers in that timeframe.
The seller is certainly around today.
Got an automatic quote from HL for a six figure amount to purchase
Can’t remember the last time I saw that
Taskmaster. It is not necessarily a better direction than thr EV charger market. It is an additional market for the fuelcell product. I would not call 28p an unsustainable spike. The news resulted in an uplift in Market Cap reflective of entry into an additional market. The drop today in reality should be unsustainable but as it does not represent anywhere near fair value for the intellectual property of the products that AFC Energy have developed and are in the process of commercialisation. Let's not forget that AFC have developed a low cost solution, not just a solution that worries about cost later. The solution is very customer focused to ensure that it is not only green but competitive in relation to other sources of energy generation. Apart from the lack of trust in AFC and the false dawn's of the past, it is beyond me to understand why the value of AFC is 1/8th of CWR and 1/14th of ITM irrespective of turnover.
Sold out again this morning, I know they say shares can go down as well as up but AFC set new standards.
Who's the school bully?
You can't have your unsustainable spike and eat it....... so less ramping all round would be nice.
The system test reaching the construction press now thank goodness..... much better direction than trying to flog into ev market that doesnt exist yet imv. I see DW gets another beating by the school bully.

It's the turn of CWR today. Up 5% on nothing. Immensely frustrating. Switching off now. Can't be bothered with it at the moment.
Indeed, Southernhay. Quite frankly, AFC needs to get some new long-term investors onboard who can genuinely support the company.
It is pretty clear that RA and his crew are moving on and as for Schroders they have been far from supportive buying cheap placing shares and then dumping into any rise.
Surely, AFC is now in a position to attract some proper investors or partners who are prepared to invest?
Yes this is a liitle frustrating when you see the sector heading north. I do not have L2 would be interesting to know what is on the books to unload.
Same old story. 10 years of this. This is the best value share between ITM, CWR and AFC yet we are the ones struggling to post a rise.
FCI - it is very frustrating, almost deliberate. Another plus is it's an ideal opportunity to top up !
The seller really is taking the mickey now. CWR/ITM/PPS all setting new highs without news whilst AFC is well off recent highs and at a far smaller MCap despite good news! How many more shares can the seller(s) have to shift?
On the bright side, I guess this makes the chances of an unsustainable spike far less likely!
Semms we are struggling to break .28p sector is up about 6% hope we can catch up later today once this seller is out.
