The circus is in town at the Napier Suite, Brooklands Hotel on Thursday morning. It's hoped that much pie in the sky will be thrown around by chief clowns, Adam Bond and Peter Dixon Clarke much to the merriment of all in attendance. Not to be missed.
Gather enough clowns . . . . .
And you have a circus.
Every time I get a garmoan green box it's followed by four other green boxes. Seems to be an obvious gang or the same person with multiple names.
At least Haggis / McStock is productive when he’s working from home though…..

Although it would be nice to read 'so we bought one' at the end
I see haggis is still pedaling his delusional drivel. I strongly suspect he is not invested here but posts at someone else's behest in a futile attempt to pump the shareprice. (Who that someone is is anyone's guess!) Unfortunately, the market has spoken and we're down another 5%. Is there anyone left who genuinely believes this company will ever be commercially successful? As time ticks on and the pile of money gets ever smaller, that prospect is becoming increasingly unlikely, in my view. Meanwhile, Bond is raking it in!
Git, please don't be to hard on Stop/C he sounds like he knows what his talking about and is great for bringing top quality research to this board.
He is just protecting his investment.
>"working from home"
I've done this since the late 90s, well before it was fashionable. One of the things I did was create a science site. Turns out the reading minutes from visitors amounts to 8000 years. Sounds like a decent achievement, compared to unsubstantiated rants on a financial board for personal gain .
Stock
Oh, get a grip! the "basher troll in the amply of the shorters" line is a complete myth. Anyone shorting this doesn't need the assistance of anyone on a board that no one takes any notice of. The simple fact is that the fundamentals determine the price, and not wishful thinking by a bunch of deluded fools.
Here's something to ponder....If the power of board sentiment had any power whatsoever, how come your relentless ramping (you won't call it that, so let's just call it upbeat speak) has done nothing to raise the share price, whereas, if the "basher troll" theory holds good, those malign souls in the employ of the shorters have been able to do a better job than the combined might of both you and the AFC PR machine? Either the fundamentals are not good, and the market knows it, or "me and my mates have got a bigger swinger than yeaow!" your choice....
No wonder the bashing trolls are so desperate to get the price down, they need to close the shorts they opened on Friday that britishbulls.com told them to make, then get back in quick before AFC put out more news to burn those shorts.
Funny to watch them squirm like worms in rancid cow poo.
This looks likley to now hit 15p
Three trading sessions and 2.5 hours to the AGM:
"The AGM will be held on Thursday 25 April 2024 at 10.30am at the Napier Suite. Brooklands Hotel, Brooklands Drive, Weybridge, Surrey KT13 0SL."
Eleven trading sessions and 6 hours to the Capital Markets Event:
"AFC Energy (AIM: AFC), a leading provider of hydrogen power generation technologies, is pleased to announce that it will host a Capital Markets Event for sell-side analysts and institutional investors on Wednesday 8th May 2024, beginning at 14.00 BST, at the offices of Peel Hunt, 7th Floor 100 Liverpool Street, Moorgate EC2M 2AT."
News before the AGM?
AGM progress update RNS?
AGM IMC conference call?
News between the AGM and Capital Markets Event?
Are there many/any examples of significant new news being released at (or at 7am on the morning of) an AGM?
Miss what is going on with this. Look at the buys V Sells and most days the buys are larger or almost equal, all that's happening is, the MMs are manipulating the spread and in turn the price to cause a sell off.
Look at today if they move the share price to 18.62 this would less than 1% down but they move the price close to the bid so it looks worse.
Expecting news at AGM that will jump the sp, thats why most are selling .. they will doing their best to get them all bought back today to realise a few % extra
“most are selling” ??
AFC shares issued 747.4 million
Average shares traded daily 2.03 million
Shares listed as sales today 419,890
% shares sold of total shares = 0.00056%
In what world is 0.00056% of a population “most”?
Your thinking is not rational.
Glad someone is still holding strong because most are selling !
Actually, those who are retired have already contributed to the economy by working their whole working lives, so perhaps a bit more respect please.
Just poking my nose onto the board for some postive comments, it looks like I'm dissapointed, apart from a few names I know, all i see is a sea of green!
Still holding strong here :)
Ahh...the old "you have no valid voice unless you waste a day of your life going to an AGM where you wont get any more substance (and that aint a lot) that is already available out in the real world......
Ask yourself this, unless you're retired, unemployed, or "working from home" (so, basically anyone who isn't really contributing to the economy) why would you give up a day's valuable pay / holiday to attend, when all of the rose tinted comments will be cherry picked and posted here, and any truly salient points will simply be ignored.
As for me, modest investment, doesn't owe me a lot, could put a few bob in the bank in the long term, but at present, just seems a lot more whiffy than it did when invested all those years ago... so quite happy to sit here an call the uncomfortable truth....The undeniable uncomfortable truth is that we DO NOT WANT BOND OUT because if he exits, then confidence will implode, and this could well go to zero, so we need to accept that, unfortunately, he's kind of the only game in town....Doesn't stop people feeling aggrieved about the performance achieved during his tenure, and the remuneration received for the singular lack of progress.
And the same thing happens year after year the bashers bash but never attend the agm .
Why don't you take your bond out banners with you
Great analogy Git, and we got 2 in a bed, Alkamem and an ammonia cracker and will end up with nothing. Unfortunately AFC have 2 non dart throwers 😂
Simple reason we can’t see the Dunsfold facility…….to paraphrase Private Fraser…..
‘Have you heard the story of the old empty factory?…….och…theres nothin in it…..
Or maybe Les is morphing into Jim Bowen…..”great, lovely, super……let’s go over to the factory, and see what we could have built”……..actually, that one is so annoyingly accurate…..everyone wanted to win the car, but all they ever had was a speedboat…..all we ever wanted was a commercially viable fuel cell, and all we got was a prototype chocolate teapot cracker….
Looks like Bond's all out of news. He must be dreading the AGM with the SP on the floor. No hockey stick analogy took place despite Dixon Clarke telling us it would be so at last year's AGM. He and Bond are well matched. A couple of 🤡
