Google has us up 9.24% Crusty.I think LSE didn't update as last trade noted was but of 1.229
The big difference between me an updownstream is that I am posting FACTS.
And those posts are NOT repeated posts.
One is the info from Tanzania Parliament which I have never posted before.
The other one might be SOME of the same infor, but I have never posted the link to the Ministry Of Energy Website news page before.
So updownstream is also a liar, determined to try and undermine the facts by throwing in baseless fiction.
Upstream downstream is guilty of what he accuses others of. 5 posts all saying the same thing.
Each disbelieving the words of the deputy prime minister/energy minister. It appears to me he doesn't want others to believe in what they see and read from official sources with their own eyes.
As for SC, yes a little repetitive but not yet as bad as the crawler or Neil who are at it 24/7
Perhaps atm this needs bringing back onto people's radar so a little ramping as long as it's not over the top shouldn't do any holders any harm.
Lol
Updownstream, you say "there is little point in constantly repeating the same old "news"" - yes there is, at least to haggismctripe - his own agenda.
I don't know what you were looking at Tanzania but as you can see from the above 6.76% is "the answer".
RJ, it seems that haggismctripe is talking a leaf out of Pubcrawl's book, endless repetition of yesterday's news ;0)
Stockcheque, your just repeating old news regarding politicians statements, some biased interpretation and translation.
The licence has been "imminent" for a very very long time....bottom line is, it's all hot air, interpretation of politician statements and assumptions until a legally approved, government endorsed signed sealed and delivered licence is in the hands of ARA and AEX.
Ive sat in a room with African Oil Ministers discussing the signing ceremony and start date for 6bn downstream project only to find out during that meeting that his Boss had decided to give it to a rival company and they had arranged a hasty signing ceremony.
I hope and believe the licence will be formally issued but until it is there is little point in constantly repeating the same old "news"
I did say many times that the issue of the licence was what we are waiting on, and sure enough there it is stated in Parliament:
"Likewise, the Cabinet has approved the issuance of a license for the development of this Block where the procedures for the issuance of the license to TPDC on behalf of the investor (ARA Petroleum Company) are being completed."
"signing ceremony and accompanying photoshoot"
Yeah, seems that's on the cards as it's announced in Parliament now (in the public domain), but nothing from ARA or AEX yet, so it is waiting on something to complete the process of issuing the licence. We can't announce it until it's in our (ARA's) hands, so must be a big PR event planned.
Sorry you followed up with the update as I wrote
Yes that was from the speech at energy week released in their national press on Tuesday of last week. Since updated in parliament during the budget yesterday, which confirms the development licence has been approved by the cabinet. I assume we are just awaiting the signing ceremony and accompanying photoshoot.

Sites in the Domain .go.tz are all Tanzania Government official websites. The below is a news item on the Tanzania Ministry Of Energy website. nishati.go.tz translates to energy.go.tz. The information must be correct, as they would not publish false statements on an official Government website.
Which in English states: "In the Natural Gas sub-sector, he said that strict management continues where under the Seventh Phase Government, a license has been issued for the extraction of natural gas in the Ntorya well in Mtwara region while the last license was issued in 2006."

Al,
"The Government will want full exposure in media of this"
I would have thought so, yes, huge gas field soon to come online, they will sell it to the public as "Low cost Gas for everyone for decades" I suspect.
Ignore the serial ramper, posting the same STG pumping on loads of boards, has no interest in this stock at all.

Crusty, Aminex plc finished up over 9% I believe.
Welcome Black Rock. Our wonderful lth Gaslady was earlier trying to identify a poster from his 'amercanist way of spelling.
In your case, I sense you have a touch of the Proscuitto about you ! Bound to be wrong I feel but are you an HTGT sort or otherwise I wonder ?
No longer up that 8% unfortunately - however any rise is a good rise ;0) Slow and steady does the trick.
Pretty good day for AEX now up 8 percent and good day for STG as well...worth a look too .....hoping for both to see massive gains in the coming weeks
On the market...must be dusting off the red carpet somewhere in Tanzania for the big reveal. The Government will want full exposure in media of this
OK, then shut your mouth
Mark Twain presumably had this forum in mind when he said"it is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt"
But Rojo we have never attended the AGM together - suspicious eh? Would we have had to wear the same name tag....?
Yes RoJo, I've just checked it, I must admit I thought you've been from about 2017. I'll have to put it down to age
The Sultan is amongst us 😁
