Why strange KVT? nice to see it going in the right direction after the last couple of weeks.
else watching this today? Strange sp movement to say the least..
Yes: traders do try to buy in just ahead of anticipated news, and the rise associated with it. But in any case, the prospectus and circular we are awaiting could be earlier than the AGM on 26th. September. A lot of people were caught out by ACO's 3 August RNS, "Further details will be provided in due course in a shareholder circular and in the prospectus." http://uk.advfn.com/stock-market/london/acorn-min-ACO/share-news/Acorn-Minerals-PLC-Subscription/72127033 I'm certainly expecting things to move quickly here, and there are compelling signs that a big deal will be unveiled in the short term.
That's David Greece with poor research on this stock. Its main market hence GM and need for a prospectus.
The link u sent was rules on the aim. This share is in the main market
They ain't doing the Rto for nothing so what if we are down a few months, why Mr Greece got the beef here?? So could be a very fast so in 6 months agm to come I'd expect people who wanna be part of this get in
Please post on Twitter...am waiting. Looking forward to it being shut down.
Not a necessity to post on here. It's against the rules and not relevant to this board. You had fair warning. Will expose on Twitter. Laters.
What basis do you say I am fraud David Greece? Can you please summarise on this board.
Kavi Dhana (ex PTV fraud) we've had this chat but clearly you have failed to take heed. No problems. refer to my message on Twitter. As for John. I have no idea who that is.
Surely we should expect this to rise to the agm
Definitely it's boredom.. It went up 100% since close of the day of the RNS.. And nearly 200% since morning of the RNS. Only natural people take profits.
Thanks very much for the explanation makes perfect sense.
Indeed..follow the money Hh100. The SP has recently exceeded the original fundraising price of 20p, paid almost four years ago by the major shareholders. They have now had the opportunity to recoup those funds, but indications are, that they have shunned the opportunity. When one scratches beneath the surface of ACO, it is a classic case of "wheels within wheels" and I have no doubt that the major shareholders will vote in favour of all resolutions at the AGM. I have been analysing the previous withdrawn Gulf Energy acquisition, it's assets, the machinations of share for share consideration takeovers and the information released to date and, to say the least, I am very comfortable holding..dyor.
"I've actually uncovered quite a bit of information that I will share once I have authenticated it. But it's beyond our wildest dreams to say the least." Thanks Polly ... sounds intriguing!! The buying support, and the fact that most of the rise has held, indicates that the story behind the scenes is good. Volumes of about 800,000 shares a day are fairly extraordinary, so you'd expect quieter periods between news (there are only so many shares that people can buy and sell), with a pick-up when news comes in. Post the AGM, we'll have to wait and see, but I suspect that things will move pretty quickly once the £2.5M. placing goes through and the existing directors resign. There could potentially be an 'interim' period while the new directors bring in an acquisition - we shall have to wait and see. But the s.p. could still perform strongly before an acquisition goes through: CHA (Concha) 40-bagged on a mooted acquisition only without ever actually completing it. P.S. I won't be posting every day, but I will when I feel that I have something to say.
Hedgehog, Thank you very much, its good to finally be on board. I've actually uncovered quite a bit of information that I will share once I have authenticated it. But it's beyond our wildest dreams to say the least. With regards to the selling, I suppose its just a repeat of post 3rd August RNS..priced dipped back to 12.50 after the day traders cleared off. You are spot on that the buys are more significant than the sells. As you remember I was skeptical but having seen the last couple of RNS', Im not going anywhere now. What do you suppose would be the timeframe from the time of the AGM until an RTO? And do you believe the week prior to the AGM would see volumes reminiscent to monday/tuesday? Good to see you posts once again!
It was clear on Tuesday morning There were also two 10K. buys on Tuesday. Please note that I do of course mean Wednesday (yesterday) - Sorry! I can't believe that it's Thursday already ...
DocM, This is the trade concerned, which is shown by LSE as being a Buy. This supports the view that it was indeed a buy, especially as it was so large: "07-Sep-16 09:57:03 19.925 100,000 Buy* 18.75 20.00 19.93k O Trade Type: Ordinary" It was clear on Tuesday morning that there were a few sells that weren't having the impact on the s.p. that you would expect, which suggested that there was a large buy order being filled. When the trade was reported late it confirmed that. There was no way that you could have sold 100,000 at that point for about 20p (although if you could have done that in itself would have been mildly positive), or that the s.p. would have finished down only half a penny on the day (at 19.5p) if the buy-sell balance had been shifted so strongly to selling as you suggest. There were also two 10K. buys on Tuesday. In general buying is more significant than selling, because people sell for many reasons, but generally only buy because they believe that it's a good investment, and have thousands of shares to choose from. There is usually some profit-taking after a strong rise, which is why rises are often staggered, and that can create buying opportunities, as a 13.5-14p recently. So what is more significant: ACO raising 2.5M. at a 71% premium from large investors who know what's going on; or some moderate selling from retail investors who have know idea what's going on. Added to big buys in the market, which supports the view that behind the scenes activity is good. Follow the money!
I assume they will be voting FOR. They will get money into the company at a significant premium to what they paid.
Thanks for that research Polly. It certainly supports the view that ACO may be moving into property. Orion are ACO's fourth largest shareholder: "Orion Capital Partners Ltd 625,000 4.4%" "Orion Capital Managers Orion Capital Managers LLP ("Orion") is a European real estate investment firm. Orion's business is commercial real estate investment management on behalf of major investors from around the world. The firm is dedicated to consistently deliver performance to its investor partners. Orion is wholly owned by its Founding Partners and has offices in London, Madrid, Milan and Paris. Orion Capital Managers' local presence and experience in European markets creates a platform which responds rapidly to a broad range of transactions." http://www.orioncapitalmanagers.com/ I don't see why any major shareholder should vote against the resolutions: they don't usually in these type of situations, and they will probably have been discussed with them in advance. P.S. Welcome to LSE!
Does anyone have any idea how the major shareholders in ACO will be voting? I've done a bit of digging and found Orion to have vast experience and interest in the Real Estate sector..hence the sector additions and name change.
Was watching aero this morning...mm's opened it a bit high really. Goes to show though, if your not in when news drops then you can miss the boat. I'm just going to sit tight and wait this out...shouldn't be long now in any case.

And you're likely talking months not days, needs an admission doc/ prospectus etc etc etc. Trade knows this full well.
Will suspend. Standard practice. They shouldn't have to tell you via RNS. It's basic knowledge. As for the 20k it's clearly a sell as is the last on the bell. Someone's offloading in blocks as I warned they would and quickly. Expect more tomorrow.
