looks like the next KOD ,hope to double my money here quickly too.
two years ago it tripled on September http://www.iii.co.uk/articles/193509/why-has-acorn-minerals-tripled
The shares hit 690p from just 2p http://citywire.co.uk/new-model-adviser/news/batm-chief-expects-to-take-a-beating/a216437
What happened with Batm Oao1 please?
Yes Tradesonaim, I remember BATM and what happened there and who was behind them, yes Shore Capital.
Hh100 has just put some interesting posts on ADVFN if you didn't already know and yes..20p is correct.
trying to decide on a strategy for early next week. I like this share...a lot. I think the upside here is substantially better than many of the slow movers in my pf, most of which are showing losses awaiting that key announcement. Sorely tempted to chuck the lot in here... 55% gain here would drag all my losers in to the blue..
Kvt, You might be surprised just how many people are reading this. A general rule is that for every person posting, there are multiple people reading. Look at your own activity: you probably look at far more boards than you actually post on. And I certainly appreciate the postings of yourself and Tradesonaim, even if I don't always respond. P.S. Trades, maybe you should change your name to 'Tradesonaimandmain' ...
After reading the resolutions in the last Rns, I think it's a non starter now... having said that NHO have to find something by 2nd week of Oct or risk being delisted, so the timeline still works...
you think anyone reads this board, trades?, because if the participation on this board is a barometer of awareness of ACO...then we are further under the radar than I thought, which makes the coming days and weeks even more exciting..
Acorn Growth Plc...what a great name, conjures up thoughts and imagery of giant oaks. I've noticed on a few of the Rns's, Tony Brennan thanks the other Directors (Charles and Brent) for their continued "commitment to the cause" which I find an intriquing expression. Sounds almost like this is a philanthropic undertaking which would explain their wanting the very best outcome. Anyway, all the ingredients here for a very rewarding investment...gla
Mondsy will be very interesting...the mm's are in a bit of a fix here, I think the lack of shares must be quite unusual, however as their name inplies mm's are obliged to make a market. As I understand it, they are allowed to sell stock they do not have and book balancing occurs at times when selling outweighs buying. Volume on Friday was heavy for this stock but not heavy relative to other main listings and if some serious money wants in and sellers don't emerge then we could see some real fireworks...exciting times.
Just worked out if we do get to the 1 billion valuation like has done twice before, the stock value subject to no dilution would be £69.97
Yeah, good day and good commentary tradesonaim. A couple of holders I know who were in from 8-9p have top-sliced at 18p...so a few sellers there, but all good. The beauty is, that this was so off the radar that there are very few holders prior to today. So most will be looking for 24p ish before selling half for a free ride and the majority will hold out for the big reveal as it is so close anyway. Haven't checked mcap yet...must be about 2.3m I guess...peanuts. Will try and post some research at the weekend to help out those sitting on the fence..gla
Not true, but we will agree to differ
They can only offer what they have. Think they have been caught short here
Market size is 3000 and the have to offer that regardless
buy... negotiated trades via phone only with Share centre. Mm's struggling to provide liquidity already..
Could be a sign of another delayed trade about to pop up
Not often you see them selling at a loss
Yes one way bet, just a matter of how high it will now go
To do one almighty jump
Anyone on the sidelines at this stage is going to be sadly left behind
Just keep rolling in
