Q: Did the proximity of Icewine1 affect the quality of the data collected or the flow rate achieved?
If true then we should get the full rebate as the SOA coffers at present POO should be getting replenished plus some. The rebates were suspended when POO was circa 40$pb. By the time this gets settled it maybe moot and academic except to lay down legal precedent.
Not sure if this has already been posted. Came across it on HC. Alaska’s plan to issue $1 billion in bonds to pay off oil and tax credits could be delayed by up to 18 months due to a lawsuit challenging its constitutionality. https://www.bondbuyer.com/news/alaska-oil-credit-bond-sale-halted-due-to-lawsuit

Hello all!
First: thanks for this thread. I'm not sure if DW is allowed to (market regulations, laws, ...) or if he wants to (strategical reasons) answer my questions, but nevertheless I would be interested:
Will there be another oversubscribed placement over the next 12 months required?

I have had a quick look at the last set of Q & A.
We have two more questions on the LSE board and IMHO the standard of question has sailed upwards. Jut goes to show that you can get a quantity of quality. I do not wish to put DW under any more pressure, the quality of answer is going to be deservedly high.
HC are still asking away and even across both boards very few duplicate questions being raised. Perhaps more of a reflection of extra potential projects than just icewine shale.
Please keep them coming
Hi mikemike, thanks for co-ordinating.
A couple of questions from me:
1) Is the HRZ unconvential play still the number one strategic priority and where do the other various plays sit in the strategic stack? (I feel this question should be at/fairly near the top as it should set the scene for many other questions)
2) Typically, how many farm in/out partners/consortia are considered to ensure that the chosen partner is paying the full commercial value for the play?
The second question plays in a similar area to an earlier quesion but IMHO might be one that DW feels safer to answer.
GLA,
SA
PS Not "shy" yesterday but away on a golf trip, others may have other things going on too so Saturday seems a reasonable deadline...

Mikemike - question 'In view of the present corporate structure of 88e, is it now more likely that the separate identities will find buyers rather than 88e be bought out as one single entity?'

Mike,
In regards to Western Blocks Prospect, "geological chance of success in the range of 25-30%", where has this figure come from? Seems kind of a low COS to get excited about?
Garry
your question is in, ty for taking the time to get back here.
44 great questions and plenty of time for more. Do not worry if you have already asked, please ask some more.
Dw has agreed to a new Q & A now the Q2 report is issued. I will be happy to collate the questions for lse and Spinefx will do the same for HC
If you want a great answer ask a great question in the best way you can
I will not collate any rude questions, you can send them on your own to

before i submit this.
Elyfrac based in Houston with over 100,000 fracs are the guys who planned this. PB brought them in and they confirmed it is the best shale play they had ever seen. I understand mr Ely is an octogenerian with more than a few years worth of oil know how in the shale area.
Do you want to word your question taking into account that no Conventional guys have been involved and that it is texan know how driving this.
I'm somewhat confused, as I understood but at my age I could be missing understanding something. That the frac was done by an octogenarian with 100k + frac's under his belt
Reaper, I have not had the pleasure of a one to one with Mr Wall, so I rule with the head, rather than heart.
43 great questions on here and still very few duplicates. i know that HC are pitching in as well
Garry m/ Lam and the other oilers, it would be great if you feel you could join in with some questions. Some direct industry input would be very welcome.

You are correct i am not on the 88e payroll, thank you for confirming this.
I am an investor who wishes to gain as much information i can to assist with my decision making process.
I have found past Q & A very helpful in this regard, others may not.
Unlike private questions, the Q & A is archived on 88wiki. I trust you have found this source of research to be helpful to you, as it has been to me.
In addition, it does help Dw get a good understanding of the concerns that investors have and the ability to address those concerns on a Q & A confirms publicly that our MD unlike others does not seek to hide form his shareholders.
As you correctly point out we all have a choice, yours is to direct comments directly to DW, fair enough dwall@88energy.com
Only question then is why use a bulletin board at all? and no, I am not saying you should not be.
