17:16 Brombarb,
I'm happy to be the one making an inference.
It's a duck!
Quack,
SA
19.45 - Next RNS will schedule, maybe some guidance on anything interest to note but not formal results of greater detail.
Wording it wording. Ask 10 people to write the same information and they'll all be different just stylistic, never going to be able to satisfy everyone and generally will not satisfy most. Plus I've noticed over the past 25 years IQ's and literacy appear to have decreased so its maybe moreover that people's basic comprehension is lacking...in a world where it seems increasingly acceptable to constantly ask questions in the minutia even when any statement is clear enough.
19:58 not needed but thanks! I believe there are Billions of barrels of oil in our leases.....just need a bit of luck for once...
19.45 - Apologies, clearly got the wrong end of the stick
What I was actually referring to was another poster seemingly post that they were expecting results in the next few days, which I was pointing out was quite possibly a mistaken point of view.....not impossible but that we shouldn’t get too excited that the next RNS will be the result(s). Also, I’m continually frustrated with the wordings published in RNS after RNS.
19.13 - I don't see Phronists posts but I agree with Brom. If you use logic and experience, we know from past events and every other oiler, the tests take time. Not going to be done in a week unless you're suggesting that? However what is different (in my understanding) is they are going to give us guidance of when to expect it/them rather than everyone forget about it and suddenly it lands.
DW has aways said he wants to reward LTH and shareholder support. I think he'd be genuinely upset if some holders cashed in as they thought it was a dud and another 9 odd months to wait. He's already said he thinks it's good and he's now going to let us when to know when they will present analysis to prove that. I think he's trying to say if you've been here for a while you deserve a return, this time we think we have it, I want you to know by X date you'll be glad you held. This is a massive deviation from DW's usual comms which is far more subdued...if you don't want to believe it then sell up, don't say I didn't warn you...I'll be the first to crucify myself if come the time its not what it appears to be....
17:16 not to get into semantics, I read it as per Phrontist’s summary of what I inferred (16:13). :-)
ronrod1,
Well for someone who is not authorized to give financial advice - you're very good at shooting people down who don't wear the same rose tinted glasses as you - bravo !
16:55
The last two ops announcements mention various analysis to be completed and they are distinct analysis as stated
"The cores have now been sent to the laboratory for further analysis."
"Fluids recovered via downhole sampling will now be sent to a laboratory to determine hydrocarbon"
"Further work, integrating the results from logging with the seismic, is required to map / re-map the volumetric potential of these zones."
I did also state "possibly" as to timescales and different locations for analysis.
Not sure I actually inferred anything!
Brombarb, Your interpretation might be correct but it lacks evidence.....none of what you infer is stated.
I have no problem with
‘A schedule of expected results will be released in the coming days once timings of the various analyses are confirmed.’
I read that as we have several distinct analysis's in progress , core, fluid. wireline then each will have a different date for completion.
Possibly different labs, offices, timescales to complete.
Simples really when you think about it.
:-)

So, we received an RNS saying that the next RNS will advise us of when the following RNS will be with us?
Phrontist
14:46 Begs the question as to whether it is a schedule of when to expect the various results from the lab analysis....or other?
‘A schedule of expected results will be released in the coming days once timings of the various analyses are confirmed.’
An RNS with info which is as vague as ever....

I am not authorised to give financial advice. Are you?
My plan is to await the release of the Merlin lab results. Meanwhile the announcement is due any day now as to the timeline.
But you knew all that!
rodrod1,
What is you advice after reading the last RNS ?
@m1n3r, eh? You think anything said on here either way makes the slightest bit of difference to a share price?
14.21
Another poster with advice based on NOT reading the last RNS
The only reassuring thing is their desperation. They have to pump it to get out above water. Enjoy the next 11 months!
When I’m not in work I just follow them around warning people about them and getting people to report them for disruptive behaviour
Spike prediction, for today. this will hit 4/5 pence, sooner. There IS OILLL. GLA
There is continued heavy hidden buying here despite the drop imo. Hence the spikes and large late reporting . Loaded well over 10m now.
George W Bush:-
"There's an old saying in Tennessee—I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee—that says, 'Fool me once, shame on...shame on you. Fool me—you can't get fooled again.'"
Not long for news now imo. Let hope its a cracker! GLA.
Crypto - it doesn't need to even go up. Guaranteed that he will be ramping
Spot on. And the same names are polluting the ukog board when it spiked.
