That all sounds like they are on it properly.. I suppose they have to be but you can’t blame them for going the extra mile to keep the peace … and the business!
I won’t be a millionaire with this or any of my investments.. I learned v quickly to diversify and i am only able to put relatively small amounts in each “venture”.. maybe £5K but it all helps and builds.
Some I talk to buy and hold til something changes.. good for some businesses.. with growth companies I am looking for a “price to sell”.. always a tricky one.
Briefly thought about cashing in SLL but I think this is just the beginning so I’m holding on for a while yet…
Yep. They are on it and the 2 1/2 hour community question and answer meeting showed how complicated opening mine is.
EG setting a licenced distance , legally 50 feet from the edge of PLL site to the nearest house. PLL have set it well above at 1,500 ft to tick the box for the permit.
Water table and water spillage is a big one but although issues remain it is clear work and back up plans to meet / replace water lost or by accident via a fund for community.
Each house that remains has to have by law an air and ground movement monitor for blast wave levels and dust polution. This is recorded and is by law a document that can be looked back it as evidence against PLL if conditions are not being met. So the threat of civil action is loud and clear if PLL do not comply daily for the next 20+ years !
When you hear what levels they have yo go to the bar is extremely high. That is a good thing though.
I saw the sp take off .. looked at us price and again in AUS…where I bought my shares…
Sounds promising!
Thanks MO
for this and the post re PLL. Read a bit more about PLL and though it doesn’t sound good atm.. maybe money talks in the end? Shouldn’t be thinking they can just buy people off but there should be a solution.. too much invested so far!finger s crossed.
I’ll look up VUL - always have to use a different trade ac for asx stuff!!
I saw you mention cusn - Cornish metals. Is this really a good lithium play? Plenty of hype.. is that all it is or is there solid info on what is there…and have they the skill and knowledge to get it out?
Cheers
Tyson
Gaston Town meeting online from Tuesday. 2 1/2 hours community v PLL. I think my thoughts were correct.
PLL said as much. Permits in within 2-3 weeks. Told 2 years ago not to submit permits until fully formed plan in place.
Changes and new mine developments caught everyone out.
DFS out in Sept deffo.
Watch out for more off take agreements !
Tyson. Feeling a little better PLL up 15% or clawing back some anyway.
Tyson - Standard Lithium is what I was hoping PLL to do.
Keep it simple, get to scale up and let it rip !
Now is the time for Standard Lithium to come to marke attention.
Have a look at VUL in Germany selling on ASX Oz.
LG contract to supply , confirming in Nov .... Wink !
It sounds amateurish BUT they are running the DFS right now. "If" Sayona get court approval of buying NAL inc hydroxide plant then more tons will go through Sayona NAL plant. If it fails, then 160,000 tons of rock is coming to North Carolina and possibly more if the NAL plant for processing hydroxide doesnt happen.
So back to the permits. If you were building a house you need planning permission ? You can't send in saying its a 2 bed extension , then find out your brother lost his job, is moving in with you and oh , while you are building add another 6 rooms to the extension ?
They can only request a permit based on mining through flow and the plant will be part of the DFS not just the mine.
They don't yet know whether they are spending USD$375M for hydroxide plant or processing more through the NAL buyout plant ?
Once these details are settled they can apply , simple.
Many forums have amateur posters who just follow others but do not look at the wider picture. I am disappointed at PLL buying anything in Africa, that is my own issue, but I bought IRR just £5k incase it actually happens. Africa is always a 50/50 you lose the lot or win big. Gamble there.
However, my research is suggesting they are looking at up to 3 other Canadian options should IRR or NAL fail, so the sp is and could still go to support at 22-25 dollars but I bought £30k at 27.00 and took profits on the drop back at 72.00 from 88.00.
Free buy for IRR and £15k more in to CUSN. In a flash both could double.
Back to PLL i am interested again at buying if it drops again today but will feed small £5k buys in to the near bottom.
My target for year end was US$350.00-400.00 a share. Will settle now for US$135-150.00 a share now the NAL court case is nearly over the line and spending to get plant up and running next year is worth it but punters dont like spending lol.
Also dropped to end of year because of risk factor with IRR.
Not an overly way ahead target. With just PLL & SYA doing what they were without NAL I was at US$350.00-400.00.
Shame they added risk when expansion even further wasn't really needed ?
Still at 27.00 first buy I am still very happy.
….bugger… hopefully this is just a bump in the road and they can sort it.. sounds amateurish!
One question if I may.. and I realise I haven’t done much in the way of research on this …PLL.
The sp has flitted between about 0.75 and 1 AUS $ over the last few months , after the jump from around 0.38…if only I’d had the £ to invest at the time.. anyway, what’s the reason for the hiatus? I’m assuming there’s a way to go, but I thought Tesla wanted hundreds of thousands of $ of this each year starting v soon??
Will do tyson. Yeah , not been able to post , time short tbh.
Still getting to do 20% of my normal research but its not enough to help much on the stocks i post about.
Trying though to create time.
Competition buying up land just proves the value that Standard Lithium hold and advantages of coming to market so much sooner as full demo plant is being installed right now ! Competition have a long way to go yet.

PS
have you looked at tharissa.
Seems unknown to many. Loved by a couple of ppl I know of, who know their stuff ,and me!
Making a ton of £££ but sp currently not reflecting it.

LG buy in to German VULCAN Resources for Lithium brine offtake !!! Just announced.

Hi MO
nice to hear from you.. I look in now and then on a few boards but haven’t seen your post for a while..just been catching up and I see you said you’d been ill.. hope you’re on the mend / much better.
You did say SLL (SLI now I see, nice ) and PLL which I’m on.. though not quite as early but still in profit which is nice to see.
There is plenty going on and though I have left some still in, I’ve taken out 1/2 money investment in EMH.. after a high of around £1 it appears to be just drifting ever down.. time will tell.
NEL is an interesting one.. hopefully back positive.. maybe it’s a time to top up?

Another example of the rush to buy brines , whoop whoop

Seems Musk has already got his eyes on copper ?
Schlumberg and Panasonic join in brine extraction in the US.
Not sure why Standard Lithium have not been bought out ? Certainly one of THE premium , projects past pilot plant production and now scaling up.
They are 18-36 months ahead of most brine newcomers who are being snapped up by the likes of GM.
Price rise coming to reflect Standards amazing advanced position. Must be buy in soon.

Finally , the crystalisation plant is now not in Canada but is now on site in Arkansas. Such a huge step forward with processing litterally on tap, no transporting of solutions for processing in Canada.
Great great great news. Been waiting for this for near 18 months.
Crystalization plant actually has been delivered - just like magic.

Heavily linked with Tesla up in Buffalo and now building a huge battery factory with graphene anodes, Novonix also supply Samsung Honda Toyota SKI Panasonic Bosch ... See the June update for clients. Supply is 2 years plus to Samsung so although right at the front end of devepolment they are not too new to have no backing by a big company or 8.

All bodes well for lithium in the US and who can supply in the first year or two to gain market share and with Standard Lithium proof of full working concept. They are already past proof of pilot plant. Scale up and jobs a good un.
Tesla world map and beyond ...?

US lithium needed. Arkansas or N Carolina either way invest and you will not be far off.

I know musk is busy with the solar courtcase and we are heading in to summer so big market rns often run a bit think, but wait for September and I am sure Tesla will be buying / associated with much more lithium supply as they lock in the price as the lithium pinch starts next year for 3 years at least due to the demand and other than China , the rest of the world need 300-500 gigafactories, probably around 3 at the moment outside of China who plan to have 180+...
Hi Tyson.
Did I say first week of Jan , NEL, DCTA & Standard Lithium for the tips of the year ?
Glad you are onboard.
Final Investment decision within the next 2 quarters but with GM, SKI & LG all investing in US lithium brines, just watch the rush !
Not too many shares either and massive German tech company behind the process , Laxness spun out from Bayer.
Plenty of room to do a PLL.
PLL ... You know what I feel about them. THE BEST share to have bought in at , lucky I got 27.00. Looking at USD400.00. Where does that put Standard Lithium who will probably be in full production before PLL ?
Admittedly much lower production but the shortage of lithium has already shown GM, LG ,SKI are all ready willing to pay to get involved , much like Tesla with PLL.
Standard Lithium price ? USD20.00 short term ? No reason especially if they can get the plant shipped down from Canada sooner rather than later. It should have been shipped to Arkansas and being built to process the brine to lithium on site by now but that is covid for you.
I hold both Vulcan on ASX who are pushing ahead in Germany and Cornish Metals ready for the spin off from them as Cornish Lithium list probably next year. Hoping to get cheaper shares / freebies when they do. Plus I know you are a holder of emh , well Cornish Metals also has EV / tech metals Tin and Copper, so even if I maintain my holding in Cornish Metals I feel I will still do well.
Exciting times.
Still keep a hold of those hydrogen shares ... the herd have sold out so get ready for the real money coming in. Long term 2025-2030 stick to the main top 5-6 players in Lithium and Hydrogen and you should be a rich fella. Just patience required now.
Have a good weekend.
