My wife bet me £100 that I couldn't build a car out of spaghetti..... You should have see the look on her face as I drove pasta.
One recalls the halcyon days pre-Leeson - those tranquil, summer-will-never-end days when LPX had some value. I blame poor jokes.
more chance sh itting in the Queen's handbag than making any money on this stock.
And promptly dumped the sp in the toilet.
First Quarter Results http://ir.xeneticbio.com/press-releases/detail/60
That this is a 'transformational quarter for the company'. Should be getting some good news from Shire at the end of this quarter followed by a joint announcement. We are also looking at 'non-dilutive' funding, using the Shire contract as a model for other partners. Check out the webcast. Worth listening to the various speakers.

Not much luck at the mo, also got email from Glendale Securities saying:Hello John, We appreciate your interest in using Glendale Securities, Inc. to deposit your stock certificate. Unfortunately, our clearing firm, Electronic Transaction Clearing, Inc., has made the decision to no longer accept low priced certificates for deposit, including via ACATs or DWAC. As this business is crucial to our firm, we have decided to seek a new clearing arrangement and are now in the process of determining which of several clearing firms will best suit our needs. We expect to be able to begin accepting certificates within the next two months. We appreciate your patience, and would be pleased to take the information about the shares you intend to deposit so we may contact you at the appropriate time. Our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this hiatus in our service.
Apologies DTC fat fingers and all that.
Jonny, what's a DTS stock? I suggest you try to sort it out with IG, others, including myself, use them for buying and selling XBIO. Failing that, try iWeb share dealing.
Thanks for your recommendation on IG broker LS but they sent back my certificate stipulating its DTS stock. I have sent many emails but no response to several companies inc Xbio. Forgive my lack of knowledge but held these shares for years as an investment and not as a trader.Appreciate any feedback.
MM-induced drop today ahead of Shire news - late May/early June, with luck.
Renault and Ford have joined forces to create the perfect small car for women. Mixing the Renault 'Clio' and the Ford 'Taurus' they have designed the 'Clitaurus'. It comes in pink, and the average male car thief won't be able to find it, let alone turn it on - even if someone tells him where it is and how to do it. Rumour has it though, it can be a real ***** to start in the morning! Some have reported that on cold winter mornings, when you really need it, you can't get it to turn over. New models are initially fun to own, but very costly to maintain, and horribly expensive to get rid of. Used models may initially appear to have curb appeal and a low price, but eventually have an increased appetite for fuel, and the curb weight typically increases with age. Manufacturers are baffled as to how the size of the boot increases, but say that the paint may just make it LOOK bigger. This model is not expected to reach collector status. Most owners find it is best to lease one, and replace it when it becomes troublesome............

Clem, I had exactly the same response and exactly the same offer from them. The only difference is they did suggest that they'd be in a position to trade within 2 months although I'm not going to hold my breath. I haven't had any further response from Justin @ Jenene Thomas Communications so will send them another email just to see if they can offer feedback. I get the impression that we have no where else to go and will just have to ride it out and hope this paperwork can actually be sorted out.
I agree Clem, very probably a big heap of ordure. But short of an expensive and possibly fruitless legal pursuit, what can you do but put the authorities onto them, swallow your frustration and maybe harass them long and often? The fact that they have waived thhe fees for two quarters suggests they feel vulnerable to accusations of at least neglect, but again, trying to nail them as an individual would probably not be worthwhile
Just got this off II Further to our secure message sent to you dated 11 April 2017, our Controls Team have provided us with a further update on the 'XENETIC BIOSCIENCES INC' held on our platform. Unfortunately, at present this stock cannot be transferred to another platform in its current form. Furthermore, it is not possible to rematerialise this holding to paper certificate and certificates of this stock have not been tradable since 2006 in any instance. Our Controls Team have issued further documentation to the US in an attempt to transfer the documents into our international custodians name. we are hopeful that once this has been completed they can move this stock to our clearstream system and we will be able to sell the stock if you wish. We are unsure as to the timescale when this will be completed. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused. I have contacted our Management Team and requested that you are exempt from the next two quarterly fees so there are no charges on your account for the remainder of this year. Load of BULL how come Iweb can trade them.

This is the response I have just had from the FCA: After carrying out a search of our Financial Services Register I was able to locate a number of different entries for Interactive Investor. Some of these entries are related to authorised entities, however some of the entries are warnings related to unauthorised firms. Please check the Financial Services Register to clarify the details of the firm you are dealing with. This is because if you are dealing with an unauthorised entity you may be the victim of fraud. Share registrars A share/company registrar maintains the shareholder list for their company. This is not a regulated activity, so if the complaint you have is in relation to this activity this would fall outside of the remit of the FCA. However some registrars also offer share dealing services, which is a regulated activity which would be covered by our rules and regulations. This would allow you to follow our complaints procedure if necessary (details below). What you can do If you are unhappy with the conduct of the firm and they are authorised by the FCA in relation to this there is a complaints process that can be followed to escalate any dispute. The first step would be to raise this issue with the firm(if you have not done so already). Details about this process can be located by clicking here. The FCA cannot intervene in or investigate complaints made by the public against the firms that we regulate, this role is the responsibility of the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) which was created specifically for that purpose. If you are unable to resolve this issue directly with the firm they may be able to look into this further for you. Unauthorised firms and scams Unfortunately, there are firms and individuals that claim to conduct certain business without being authorised to do so. These unauthorised firms and individuals are usually operating fraudulently. Further details about how to [http://Avoid%20scams%20and%20unauthorised%20firms]Avoid scams and unauthorised firms can be found on our website. If you believe you have contacted by a fraudulent firm or have been the victim of fraud, you may also wish to contact Action Fraud who are the UK’s national reporting centre for fraud and cybercrime where you should report fraud if you feel you have been scammed, defrauded or experienced cybercrime. This is because if you have been a victim of fraud, the police are the correct organisation to contact. They can be contacted on 0300 123 2040. Please be advised that if you deal with an unauthorised firm you would not have access to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) or the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) should anything go wrong. Any investment would be made at your own risk. Who you can contact As this firm were previously registered with the London Stock Exchange (LSE) you may wish to speak to them for further guidance on the next steps available to you with regards to the issue
Cheers I will get on to them as well. Clem
