Ha - perhaps not quite the pure play that MF was looking for! :-)
Amazon.

mf - I'd definitely spread it around. You also need to consider whether you want to go for the high yield/small prem to Nav approach (mine) or high growth/large premium to Nav. I think the article below is well worth reading in terms of what's out there, what it's yielding, and how it's valued relative to NAV.

Hi @MattTheBrave, you seem well versed in renewables- I'm looking to put a portion of money into renewables (Greencoat was initially on my radar), but after reading your post, I am thinking it'd be best. to split between a few trusts. The one's you recommend seem great- I am interested in what your ideal green energy portfolio would be if you had £10000 to invest today for long term hold? Thanks! :)
Closed UJ in profit....... everything else underwater .
The drop today was more than i expected..................... allegedly due to the India Covid variant.
It just keep going round in circles
My renewables exposure is through Inv trusts:
-Greencoat UK Wind
-Greencoat Renewables
-Foresight Solar
Also some exposure through Sequoia and GCP Infrastructure
None of the pure plays massively cheap, though only at small premia to NAV. Yields are pretty good - minimum 4%, up to as much as 7%, and these should ultimately be inflation-linked so pretty good income.
GS yes I'm ok thanks, been trying to find entries on renewable stocks, also bought lgen same as opt but under water there and ditto with av. jobs to do everywhere outside on task acres atm.
Could see UJ test the piv again before dropping away
Loaded up on FOXt ............ UJ in profit
Sorry to hear that GS , I saw it drop, its an odd company. you win some and you lose some as they say.
I hope you make it back on something else.
I bought more Lgen today on the drop and hoping to trade them short term. also loaded up on more Mars and a few more RR . The GBP getting stronger which is dragging the Ftse down .
Went short last night on UJ almost at B/E right now
Sold Today, cannot get enough information on its holdings from investments.
Dom doing well !
Looking risk off again..sell in May
Looking at graphs(dom) seems to peak at about 375 average price around 330 and good buying opportunity sub 290
Hope tasks ok, no sign for a week?
Looks like Dom took off again today
HI GS Kr1 that a completely new type of company . I've had a look at it but Its a bit beyond me but i wish you lots of luck with your investment .
RTN yes good point i am watching it
Placement will have impacted on the shareprice on the 10th March.
If funding is required far better to borrow money this way imo, no interest or long term debt.
Also invested in a company called Kr1, my understanding is that its like a dragons den for crypto start ups.
12 months ago it was 2p a share its now 150p a share (book value) having peaked at 256p(profit taking driving price down I assume).
HI Gs was looking at RTN thinking it might be a goer but then i noticed it had share placing of £175 million on 10th March at 100 per share. I see its recovered from that but It has to have diluted the price. I am trying to figure out how much value it has after the placing ( or how far it might go )
Its on my watch list
Three year graph looks good but I think the 5 year graph puts it in perspective, to me the restaurant group looks a better recovery play, might have a dabble myself.
