I read that China may veto BHP's bid, and that they have vetoed other large mining tie-ups in the past. Also, a buy out of Anglo by a Chinese mining company would have less regulatory problems as most miners are not Chinese controlled and would have little opposition from the ZA GOV who are Anglo's largest shareholder and who can make things difficult for any assets in ZA.
China uses 50% of the Worlds copper.
The West will be desperate to avoid AAL being bought out by the Chinese.
Bloomberg article: "BHP Mega Bid and $10,000 Copper Expose Mining’s Biggest Problem"
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-04-28/bhp-mega-bid-and-10-000-copper-expose-mining-s-biggest-problem
This stood out: "One key challenge is that new mines take years and often decades to build, and so decisions need to be calculated based on whether copper prices far in the future will justify the investment."
Any large low cost deposits that can be exploited before the end of the decade must be starting to attract more interest if they are in an area with existing infrastructure that has spare capacity.
Some deaths in car crashes are attributed to seat belts and airbags... We must go back to driving around in Model Ts; none of this newfangled malarkey of seatbelts or airbags... And don't get me started on so-called 'safety' glass!

You've just described just about every comp on aim nom.
but a bounce is a bounce
if it bounces's....on no news, then always a good idea,to sell into it.
especially,in comps with a background seller, that could be still there.
CEO only has £11k in shares; she earns that in less than a month.
Do you see the problem for anyone tempted longer term? Even makes trying a trade a bit dicey as they will be keeping on raising cash as fas as I can see.

Wladimir Klitschko is Oleksandr Usyk's mate, that's why he beat Anthony Joshua and now wants to take Tyson Fury out.
This gives Oleksandr a mission in his mind set. If he lets Tyson use his body weight he may not win the fight, just saying like.
