From the MM signals it looks as though they'll be keeping it in current channel
As you say - news is due so games being played for sure
Weird action. I think plying games ahead of news
No RNS re the judge's Balcombe decision.
Maybe they will mention it in an RNS on another subject, perhaps an update on Brockham (?).
Fully loaded with 5m shares now, thank you sellers. Onwards and upwards from here

There was a mention about another booster compressor due around 4 quarter. The presser has been steady but the field is looking to be totally drained before the possable use change to storage use.
what more needs to be said?
Ocelot: I’d say it’s time the management here apprised the business’s owners of the terms of the new offtake agreement and of the new hedges with Trafigura. There has been no recent comment on the gas flow from the already heavily depleted Saltfleetby field either. The company’s survival rests on this, not on the Weald “assets”.
The judge's decision allowing the appeal should concentrate minds at Angus on the definition of their growth strategy.
PS: I hadn't seen the most recent Drill or Drop article when I wrote my post of 08:52:
https://drillordrop.com/2024/05/08/balcombe-villagers-head-to-appeal-court/
On October 31 st 2023, Frack Free Balcombe Residents Association filed an application for permission to appeal the judicial review’s decision at the Court of Appeal ...
This will be decided by a judge reviewing our grounds for appeal. We expect to hear their decision in 3 to 4 months’ time.
Erm….this is only the license for a test! It’s not a production license so absolutely not Odins. If it was a production license we would be right back in this situation in 4 or 5 years time having gone through the same process .
I understand some are keen to push this as an opportunity, as they think it’s going to make them some money conning mug punters. In reality it’s just a money pit.
Odins,
They are contesting the "high court" decision, not directly challenging Angus etc, also I doubt you can sue for loss of production that as yet has not been demonstrated, or actually being done on a daily basis.
If the appeal fails, then ANGS should be able to sue for legal costs and loss of production.
Bubbles
With the history here, and given the fact that the council voted unanimously to reject it, nothing is guaranteed. We could well have a new government by then with a completely new agenda?
I agree ithe challenge will probably fail. But in my opinion so will the 1st stage of the test, all at Angus’s expense. Just look to Horse Hill for a comparison.
WG,
Not sure that would be overly relevant now, they have already drilled, found oil, the next phase is to re-test, not to necessary do any drilling in the future.
If they were to contest oil exploitation/production then it would be more of an issue.
A judge has granted residents of Balcombe in West Sussex the right to challenge a High Court decision to allow oil exploration in their village.
The case will be heard at the Court of Appeal in London in front of three judges.
From Drill or Drop.
A few more months waiting then……….make it a year!
MildTiger,
Hardly a selloff was it lol, a total of 6.5m shares traded today, about £27k worth, out of 4,390,000,000 in issue !!! get over yer self lol
Bought a few back today, slowly building my 4-5million position again. Thank you sellers
When is cool story 2 out?
"" I can focus on fundamental analysis of the company""
Snowflake - Cinder's,
Yeah,Yeahh, like relying on such "company" analysis has paid off for you so far lol.,, if ONLY you had listened to me at 1.6p you would be singing a different tune !! ner mind !! Ohhh you blinkered me out lol....
Probably Ocelot (paid ramper) and BubblePOINTLESS (zero shares, XR nutter in disguise).
Either way, I don't have to read their drivel, I can focus on fundamental analysis of the company and leave the pair aforementioned to waste their time posting to an empty room (that's where they belong).
Just imagine if instead of being long ANGS the last 6-months you had simply bought a FTSE tracker fund...
Coulda, woulda, shouda!
Actually agree with that WG, it is simply to avoid decom at Brockham, but then, they can at least state they have tried every which way they can to deliver from there, even though the writing is in reality "on the wall", and it strings it out for what ? another 2-3 years lol.
Bubblepoint,
Think it best not to expect too much, agreed.
But it is their first growth initiative outside of Saltfleetby so appreciate their effort and wish them well.
