Exactly. It's not like the asset is going anywhere!!!!
Simon, if it retraces, just pick up more and average down - the asset is still there and high grade ore
Waiting with bated breath for yet another can kicker rns. I can hardly wait. Yawn. Even Extrader must be feeling nervous. Anything shy of a wonderful rns will surely see this hound dog retrace yet again.
Agree 100%
All I ask is that they have committed to ONE project and plan and are putting together finance. Not too much to ask?
I'd have hoped they'd known about the funding before yesterday! AT has told me they have been investigating funding options for some time. He also said that the COIDIC process was undertaken with the understanding that a route to finance would be provided.
Or they're going to leave it as late as bad (or no) news is typically released later in the day?
I have only held these shares for 4 years so I feel like an amateur!
Sounds to me like this will be yet another RNS with no substance. The only thing they have really achieved is secure their salaries for the next 12 months.
I hold over 1m shares and dream of the big payout as much as the rest of you, which has been fun, but I do have to start questioning the opportunity cost of putting my money elsewhere.
Hi Dr Remington,
"Did he sound upbeat at all or were there any tears?"
I think it's a job requirement to be positive in outlook, the frustrations must be enormous...and the 'payback' in professional or personal terms tantalisingly elusive...
Let's see what the RNS says...
ATB
Thats good to know Extrader...so they said they would update re coidic during the eoy update but now say can't provide too much info as it's sensitive? Sounds positive to me...
Sounds like it could be a nothing RNS then, saying maybe talks are still progressing with the Chinese. Did he sound upbeat at all or were there any tears?
Cheers Extrader.
Cheers Extrader
Sounds ominous.....foot-moving action-cylinder shaped object-tarmacadam
Let’s see
Hi all,
Andrew has just called back.
I was told that an RNS will be out later today, delay due to some last-minute re-wording/reviewing needed to take account of Friday's RNS.
The Shard agreement should give funds sufficient to 'June or even year-end 2021'.
Re COIDIC, he said there has been progress but the RNS will be guarded in its comments because of the sensitivities.
ATB
If they don't provide an update this month and use Covid as their reasoning it will be incredibly damaging to the sp. It shows a complete lack of regard for investors, and they won't have delivered any of the news related to COIDIC that has been promised for months now. It will be an opportunity for some cheap shares though so if you have the spare cash and the cojones you could pick them up sub-5p. Will see I suppose.
It shouldn't be used as an excuse, but it's there as a tool should he wish to use it, that's all i'm saying. Question is have they applied, either way I would think it only right that ZIOC inform the market of delay if there is to be one......
atb
Hi Sootysnipes,
Good point ! and you'd think that ZIOC would want to release on time, esp as they've just engaged Shard to entice some fresh money....and potential subscribers will want audited figs and an update as to what's happened since 31/12...
ATB
Hi Sooty,
Called and left msge.
Think you find that due to Covid-19, companies can apply for a 3 month extension, ie end of Sept.
Hi jonnychi,
.." I thought it was a regulatory requirement that had to update b4 30 jun,? "
AIM Rule 19 . I've left a message with Trahar asking for clarification.
ATB
Its a fair one Caml. I too have been invested here for 6 years+ and have bought the story. You have got to hope with the interviews and tick up in twitter messages that AT realises this and that there is a jv / bo story being worked on...i guess we will see v soon. I thought it was a regulatory requirement that had to update b4 30 jun,? Maybe i am wrong on this but if so we will soon see!!
Hi Johnnychi,
it is a compelling story and one that has been told for many years now. It has sucked many in and every now and then we get great excitement from the company regarding cold pellets, product testing, EPP feasibility, re-working of stage 1 and stage 2 capex requirements, floating ports and so on. Nothing on production, nothing on production estimates, nothing on projected earnings, nothing on off-take, nothing about a timetable, nothing more than a story.
Basically, they avoid publishing any sort of timetable and plan because they can be held accountable for that. I have been a huge supporter but am now clearly concerned.
I do not believe there is any background M&A / JV activity and I also believe that the management will be paid in cash again now that there are funds available. We'll see soon enough. I'd love to be wrong.
All IMO
Understand but we aren't in this share to move from 6p to 20p...we are here to see it bought out for £'s...short term movements dont matter if you believe in the story here...and it is compelling
jonnychi
Markets don’t like uncertainty and AIM MM’s love delays
Is no news good news???
. . .or more likely, they were all asleep on their desks and didnt realise today is last day of June -
Trahar, needs to realise that investors watch and wait for key info on dates they give, if they miss those dates it opens credibility and reliability issues, which is always a problem when getting people to part with their hard earnt cash and getting them to invest it into a mine in Africa that hasnt even started yet - Come on Andrew, get your team going and up to speed and get them on the ball please.
