Invest - see RNS dated 25th July for the SVS connection regarding the last placement they ever probably did before going in to Administration a few weeks later. Conspiracy theories abound as to whether those 10m shares and 1m warrants actually found a home before the shutters came down. Equally the warrants may just evaporate if they were homeless. Also anyone holding WSG in their accounts [like me] are equally locked out from buying/selling. It took about 9 - 12 months for another broker in Admin to get its affairs sorted whereby all share holders accounts were migrated to another broker.....so slightly murky conditions around SVS and what they were up to...………..B
what is SVS yrab?
As you say, nothings happening anyway!
100k 9.12 v 9.37.
Stuck
A number of frustrated SVS clients out there Jimzi who cannot sell...……...whether they wanted to or not !!…………...B
There you go, I've stopped the sellers!!
Indeed. Funny how we never hear from one single seller though - top ups declared galore but peeps too embarassed to tell us they sold.
Can never work out why- cause it would genuinely interesting to know why. Hey ho
Jimzi, I suspect the spread is determined by useless robots who sometimes just mix it up out of boredom..... this has been narrow bound ranged since the summer between about 8.7 and 9.5 and nothing short of a contract is going to move us from these top and bottom rails...…….. B
90% sells!
Even the mms are confused or forgot to plug in their L2 usb stick
Lost my punt on STRL yesterday - no harm done in terms of the loss (not material v my portfolio) - I should have gone for that Marijuana share Zoe (now doubled).
You look at STRL though - £8m float and two years later - nothing, blaming market conditions for not finding an acquisition\getting backing to buy the target. Most of AIM is just a transfer of SH cash to so called Directors pockets.
regular quadrilateral as it gets
Flying this morning...…….... 4 trades in the first hour and a tick up from the gods...………. have peeps woken up.? B
I will be the first to sing the CEO’s praises once the contract is signed, the details announced and the SP rises. I have twice been up 100% here only for the promised projects to slip away, but I do think this time will be different.
I think the company has had its share of bad luck, but hindsight has also shown some of the previous announcements to be misleading.
I remain committed and agree that this is not the time to be selling. In fact I added more last week. Patience will win the day eventually, and we shall have our payday. Hopefully.
Keee nobody is saying you definitely wrong. Why not sell up at least half and you can be pleased you made a wise decision if there is no Tema contract signing in the next 3-6 months
I would love nothing more than to come on here and everyone has made a mint and telling me i told you so etc....... but sorry guys i just can not see it. Anyway all the best.
Beat me to it. Thanks mate. Kiss kiss
Read up on implied contracts. While your at do L/Cs as well.
Frankly, I’m beyond caring what others think. If you need reassurance to hold, don’t hold - man up and make your own mind up but stop bleating , no one forced you to buy .
Gave you warrant info - no bloody thanks if indeed anyone read it, so you can all sid off as any informational posts are disregarded in preference to constant moaning ones.
I dig the frustrations. We are all frustrated. I’ve had days where I’ve wondered wtf I’m doing here. But, it is finally different with Ghana. Unlike the other contracts, we’ve been operational for 5 months now and we are being paid for it. It hasn’t gone **** up yet or gone radio silent which is a huge positive.
Palace have just rewarded Benteke with a new contract for scoring 4 goals in just over 2 seasons. And he’s prob our second highest earner. So it’s not only WSG who overpay their staff for delivering little :)
I do question why you would think all that but don't think it is time to sell your stock. It doesn't seem like a very sensible investment strategy! For me it is not time to do that. I hold the same fears though and I am not oblivious to the risks but I am prepared to put a value on the progress which is very clearly being made in the past 12 months. These are multi year contracts and it takes time to get them done. Ask yourself if WSG can get this far with deals in Iran (it was signed) and Ghana (almost signed) why cannot is start to replicate that elsewhere?
Jimzi,
Look at the Tema contract There is no contract, if there is show us! What happened to the so called Airport contract last Xmas, if there is 1 show us! People keep saying the Tema contract is NOT signed due to the Unions, if it is show us! I could go on but whats the point, the bottom line is, know matter what he has said NONE have them have come to fruition.
He has. We’re being paid which means there is an implied contract - something many miss, fail to comprehend or just don’t want to. Again, sell and get a life cause high risk basket cases aren’t your thing.
Haven’t heard the placing guff recently- maybe that’s next.
Aim puts a disproportionate emphasis on the competence of management given the inherent difficult analysing small companies in detail
Hence the fowler discussion
Btw Balders is sitting on a gold mine in somaliland- piracy down, Marine planktonic drift up, and five recent Chinese fishing licences in neighbouring Somali. He is also chairing a local charity if anyone wantsto go

Keeve, hold that thought, in the coming weeks things might just change and PF could go from dreamer to realist, But then again they may not. Boots on the ground, cash in the bank.... this might be different. B
All this talk today of PF, the bottom line is he hasn't delivered any long term contracts in the last 7 years but has been paid a handsome salary. If I had failed in my job i would not of been paid, you shouldn't get paid for failure only success. I've said it before the guy is a dreamer.
If you can assess risks in these places accurately, you would be a messiah.
MPS can't and they spent US$1,5b.
Just sell and put yourself out of your very evident misery - buy something safe!!
No, PF is not devoid of criticism but we hear barely nothing else, hence the need for my post - which has attracted considerable support 26 -v- 3. Peter is generally seen to be a good fellow by people on this board - someone who is working hard for shareholders. I was also pleased PF managed to secure a raise which meant we could deliver on a $3m+ contract. We should all be thankful for that! Vander - yes perhaps, but it was what was needed, at that time. Let's call it 'realpolitik'. The Tema contract opportunity is real, certainly. Jimzi is right - it is high risk high reward stuff this, so let's not pretend otherwise.
