Lefk,
From reading this thread for the last few years I’d say the majority here are investors as opposed to traders. Though I am sure some masquerade as others.
I’m certainly an investor. I don’t have time at work to monitor things hourly, I pick a company and wait until I either hit my self imposed stop or something good happens and I can start to execute my profit taking.
I’d love to be able to successfully navigate the waves up and down but I’d kick myself every five minutes for the next 20 years if I happened to be out when the news broke.
If all goes to plan over the next couple of years this share will fund my kids schooling and maybe some of my retirement. I’d be a fool to even open up the slightest chance that I miss the initial leg up.
Pick a winner, Buy, hold and be patient is what I try to do. Even though patience is sorely tested at times with wsg ??.
ps
using the derogatorry teerm bozo tto describe cchambelaain is justified
why?
because
'Chamberlain's reputation remains controversial among historians, the initial high regard for him being entirely eroded by books such as Guilty Men, published in July 1940, which blamed Chamberlain and his associates for the Munich accord and for allegedly failing to prepare the country for war. Most historians in the generation following Chamberlain's death held similar views, led by Churchill in The Gathering Storm. Some later historians have taken a more favourable perspective of Chamberlain and his policies, citing government papers released under the Thirty Year Rule and arguing that going to war with Germany in 1938 would have been disastrous as the UK was unprepared. Nonetheless, Chamberlain is still unfavourably ranked amongst British Prime Ministers.[1]

5 day chart looks good for getting me back into wsg :'@ 12.25 , already in profit . used lower IG time frames 4hrs and less to pinpoint entry.

it may be tiresome and boring for some .
shame those who have me filtered missed the buy signal

well glad you're having a better day today.
i think you're still over analysing the British comment.....we're in Britain, don't think it's that weird to make reference to British people. Many Europeans find the British approach to be too polite and not saying negative things for fear of causing upset..that's kind of where i was coming from. not that they avoid eye contact to be rude to someone, more they keep their head down and wonder off rather than challenging the preacher to actually back up their rantings.
I actually met David Frost on a few occasions, went to his memorial service as Westminster Abbey. I agree....truly was a British gent.
good afternoon AIM_high
siome days are good others bad. having a better day today,
its the sway i hold the mouse and speed of typing on a screen keyboard.
try it very time consuming one click at a time. 5you won't have trouble pointing the curdsor though as i do.
the snide reference to 'evangelical loon' was surely aimed art me
are you having a laugh to deny?

might apply to that bozo chamberlain being typically brittissh coming baack from herr hitleer waving that usseless piece of paper but not to decent interviewers/ pressenters/polittical commentators like andrew maarr or andrew neil and the late davvid frost
cantt get more british than the latter 3.

It’s depressing if this BB makes difference. I thought it was a place to swap jokes
You will send DHC in a copy and paste frenzy
Enjoy the wonderful valley views and of course the truly fabulous wines available there :-)
The fellow who thinks he knows it all is especially annoying to those of us who do.
Most on AIM are high risk speculative shares appearing to be on the cusp. Most should know but there seems to be a tendency from many that success is days away, non problematic and guaranteed - when anything doesn't go to plan the whole bod are liars and cheats and shares is a dog.
Now some may fall into that category but many do not. They are cheap because there is alot of work and luck to break through the cusp.
Take HVO, excellent company doing good things, almost b/e but no news on how they are going to proceed with P3 testing. SP peaked intra-day 116p last year - currently 20p and that was WITH ii buying - albeit Woody.
If someone wants to sell 9% when the market is square - this is what you get - not BOD fault, nothing to do with TA. And if the contract is being expanded or trial period extended, not the bods fault, nothing to do with TA.
TA needs liquid stocks - this bb has much more effect than TA here.
1313 appears to be a buy.
Not far to go - can still sell 1.5m on line at much better price and still cannot buy the same.
Pretty sure some of the 250ks were not CC - few peeps joining in to muddy the waters imo.
Off to the airport soon so please don't reply mystic, the Loire beckons - adios amigos - non, au revoir mes ami.
And yet the professionals, merchant banks and fund managers go broke as often as us non techies, then want bailing out by us the tax payer because the line went all squiggly :-)
Isn't life too short not to have a sense of humour? Get real
good afternoonSlipperz and the 3 who recommended your post
'Who cares about T-line? According to Lef, there is a "pregnant woman" on the chart, waiting to give birth....:-)'
try telling that to those who bought at 80p,30, 20p even recenttly at 18p and held long and strong or aveeraged down ploughing even more moneey intto this dog of a share axxccoding to some on this board.
with respect get an all round education in investing before posting ill informed posts. if i was to to be uncivil i'd post wghat my english master used tio say' engage your brain boy, before yiu speak;'
harami = pregnant woman in hjapanese
candlesrticks is ancient 400 yr old japanese rice traders way of graphfically illustrating the entire investor sentiment fro all time frames from 1 minute to 20 years.
the pregnant woman candle stick fornmation at the end of a bull trend consisting of a long bearish candle followed by a small bullish one representing the bayy bump followed by a price close abivecthe red t line= potential reversal of bear trend and a buy.
1 month chart below . last 2 candles illustrate the harami but waiting for close above red t line

all the professionals, merchant banks and fund managers use charts and ta why fdon't yyou instead of ridiculibng it with misinfiormed smart alick jibes?
wow...you really over-analysed that.
the people who have a right to be offended by the "loon" reference are a: evangelical religious types that I was insulting, and 2: mentally ill people for whom this is an offensive term towards.
Claiming that you're "clearly" of foreign parentage and therefore it's racist is quite astounding logic. I mentioned British because we (and i include you here) have a stereotypical reputation for not wanting confrontation and avoiding things that make us feel remotely uncomfortable. So if anything it was self deprecating rather than racist.
on a separate note i'm pleased that you're having a good day in term of your MS........and before you go off on one, that's a genuine statement and not a jibe at you having better typing today. i can't imagine how much of impact a physical condition like that must have on day to day life and wouldn't wish it on anyone.
Sorry the second always was unintentional and not meant to be condescending. Good luck with your trade.
Fair enough, not my area of expertise. I just clicked on some of the links you shared and we seemed to be below the fabled t line for the links I looked at. But I guess if you can choose from a multitude of different t lines then you can always always back up whatever decision you want to make. Btw I think you made the right decision. Whatever works for you, just not my cup of tea.
good afternoon esduk
yes it has closed above t line on lower time frames
1 and 5 day charts using barchart
2 hr and lower on IG charts aas Qualia144 correctly spotted
as for aiming_high n his reference and inclusion of the word 'loon.' in his post was a clearly snide remark despite protesting he was ONLY 'actually telling people not to be mean to Lefkosia, but just ignore him iff they want to'
and the reference to british clearly a trump type comment beacause of my pseudoname lefkosia = greek for Nicosia.
born in epsom general hospital of english mother, portugues father in 1947
as for his' be british dont look at 'loon' in the eye' my english mother taught me to never trust anyone who can't look you in the eye . in some cultures it is rude to look one in the eye but not british as far as i am aware. one does looik away if staering at a stranger and thety look at you - that's polite but not if one wabnts to engage with them. perhaps thats what AIM was alluding to/?
Invest: the filter button for me is in the same place as for everything else.
I was actually telling people not to be mean to Lefkosia, but just to ignore him if they want to.
I don’t see myself as bullying you Invest. I see myself as being the kid in the play ground trying to stop others from taking sweets from a kid in the corner who is handing highly questionable produce.....a public service.
Who cares about T-line? According to Lef, there is a "pregnant woman" on the chart, waiting to give birth....:-)
Lef, where is the filter button for the bunch of ##### you have just mentioned. Aiming was probably a bully at school and has resorted to becoming a keyboard warrior trying to bully and abuse others here. Spends more time commenting on other posters than he does on some valid research and points on here.
OK, fair enough, filtered.
But it hasn't closed above the t-line yet...? Doesn't this just invalidate everything you've been posting?
I recommended your post for spelling my name correctly
