Curtin , sorry to disappoint but no, I've often liken Vod sp to watching paint drying but pays a excellent dividend , sp movements are minimal, even traders must pull there hair out , but you never know, back to sitting on the fence methodolgy...atb

UnluckyI9, you mention VOD possibly going bankrupt, please let us know your reasons.
Yes there is debt but revenue at the last count was £45.7 bn & yes a 40% dividend cut is a very real possibility.
On an upside I was pleased to read that among City firms, UBS this week has VOD at 98p with a “buy” rating. JP Morgan lowered from 88p to 80p with a “neutral” stance, both are substantially higher than where we are today.

I have no doubt in my mind that Vod will turn around. The only scenario this would not be the case is if they went bankrupt, but that would be very unfortunate and unlikely to happen.
77.75p for me please 🥳
70p for me please Bob
74p please

Congratulations Roofer, well done! I notice that you won also on February 16th.
Maybe collecting all those predictions puts you in a privileged position.
Omg, Garonne is positive about his investment in vod. Hurray, long may it last.
Nice uptick into the close on NASDAQ, which augurs well for Monday. It's satisfying to see the SP out of the 60s and hopefully on track to a proper recovery.

Hi Dan, yes not a bad finish, wouldn't it be good though if it now started making it's way towards 80p
fingers crossed for that
ps. you do know tmu is aka gutter don't you, good spelling?
T.M.U. How old are you? You sound like a child. This is the stock market, not a comedy show. Grow up please?
Hi rob. Good finish today. I think though there are some on this forum who just think the stock market is one big joke & come on here just for a laugh & take the piz. Nothing wrong with having a sense of humour though. Have a good week mate.
Time machine, your spelling is very good? Have you seen your friend jax around, I have been worried about him
Also, without the likes of vodafone and other telecoms, Apples would not be what it is today.
Who needs a smart phone without a data?
Yes in the world of tech Vodafone's market cap is laughable... isn't Microsoft worth 130 times more? Or is it 1300?
At the turn of the century when we all went out to millennium parties Vod was one of the most valuable firms in the FTSE 100 with a market capitalisation of $152bn, Apple’s was $16bn.
Today Apple is worth $2.6trn (yes trillion) and Vodafone just $24bn.
Perhaps one day Rodney we will see Vod narrow the gap, here's hoping.
Meanwhile, I respectfully point out that if a company the size of Apple or any of the "Super 6" wanted to buy Vod they could do so without too much of a sweat. Good weekend wishes to all holders here.
