OK, well done you, when I said your MP, I was quoting the usual pc response to those who don't like current law. I meant the lengthy planning process, not the leaks issue. It has been a quiet day for trades, but lots of posters affronted by UK planning. If the aim leak rules are weaker than main market, that too is an issue for regulation.
MIlnrowmug - I've done so in the past because my MP was Treasury Economic Secretary before resigining over Boris. I sent a very detailed breakdown of the scandal of the three UJO fundraising placings and he (rightly so) passed it on to his FCA team dealing with such things. Never got anything back of course, apparently you never do anyway, but I like to think it did some good because DB says he would address it but was powerless to do anything much about it. Hopefully we shouldn't have to face these situations again if Wressle does the job and we have a share buyback. So I am just hoping the oil price and successful Wressle producion projections do the trick. GLA

Trans, that was absolute drivel. The costs will be the same regardless of whether it's for production or exploration. It's COSTS, NOT COMPENSATION as I'm sure you already know.
I appreciate your unbiased informative comments,I’ll stick to my own timeline with respect to one dubious posters predicting a quid by year’s end ,Xmas 2026 is more likely.
Didn’t appreciate that thanks Mr Bee
Different councils, one North Lincs, the other Lincs County Council
Selfish
Indeed circumstances are different. Previously the Council were blocking the development of an oil discovery that had already flowed at what looked like commercial rates and therefore were blocking the commercial interests of the owners, a situation that required careful (albeit unsuccessful) legal handling by the council as the value at stake was significant as were the legal risks and costs to them. North Kelsey is an exploration well, which may or my not contain oil and so the value at stake is far less, especially since they've spent 8 years doing nothing with it, I expect the Council to be no less driven by their electorate, especially as this is looking for new oil rather than producing already found oil.
RNST, meant on the appeal front. Exploration & extraction, I would say no two are the same; however note same formation here so maybe similar.
Trans, circumstances have changed too, and it's highly unlikely there will be a series of refusals and appeals.
A bit of an exaggeration Milnrow if you’re honest.
NK is where Wressle was nearly 10 years ago when Egdon said this in 2013.
“ The Wressle Prospect was originally identified and mapped using vintage 2D seismic data but has now been defined on proprietary 3D seismic data, which was acquired by Egdon in February 2012. The Prospect is located on trend with the producing Crosby Warren oil field and the Broughton-B1 oil discovery, both to the immediate northwest, …”
NK is a prospect not an oil discovery.
4 years ago Wressle was already 2 years later than the originally proposed on stream date of 2H 2016. I am aware that the 5 year delay was caused by the Council.. the very same council involved here I believe.
Best if we all stick to facts as they are given to us, they’re all out there if you can be @rsed to look. As new information is presented (GC report etc etc) then we can review the outlook.
Miras & Wilts, so I guess N Kelsey is where Wressle was nearly 4 years ago. No reason to believe it can't proceed as well, but the way is long. This is just the UK onshore way. Wouldn't be like this in Nigeria but we don't want their ways. Wouldn't even be like this in France (have they onshore petroleum?); their ways not so bad; sunshine siesta TGV wines cheeses yum yum, endemic racism CRS ****ing in the street no thanks.
Maybe we go too far here, but I am glad & proud to be invested in the cleanest petroleum anywhere; I know many here see it differently: "Have you thought of writing to your MP, sir."
Miln , you are unbelievable , just advising , as some people may not know, so your comment was really helpful
Another appeal which they'll win but months of time and effort wasted again
Micky it's worked today but LonSouE feeds often fail or delay: why object to someone more helpful than yourself?
As to rns, good news but not shock news, all good.

TAC , so you are the only one with a family??? I spent my time with them on Saturday
TAC Always remember - When a man points a finger at someone else, he should remember that four of his fingers are pointing at himself
spend Sunday with the family, out with their kids and/or grandchildren?
Unlike most of the sad cases who utilised their time posting endless tripe on here, I did.
It's a sad time indeed when a bulletin board with hardly a credible comment takes over your life like it has for many.
Who's going to spend their Sunday evening doing the same I wonder?
Have a pleasant evening whatever you are doing or whoever you are berating.
