And it seems to wants to stay in the ground -
and more posts taken down already this morning, desperate times..
We have Oil at Wressle.
That is generating substantial income NOW.
Oil price will rise as Wressle will flow even more over coming years.
The Pennystones are huge.
Expect FDP soon on Pennystones.
West Newton EWT ongoing...
Extraordinary isnt it....same old same old !
Boy - night shift on in Mumbai - they really must be worried - 9 consecutive "Heid" posts none of which containing anything about the facts on the ground at W Newton - - no oil.................
8th August post Oil 70 $/barrel
Predict 100 $ / Barrel 2023
Back to sleep x
Some clever comments there were written by myself.
Since then Gas has rocketed.
Oil is rising. When I wrote those comments oil was 70 $/barrel ..now stands at 75 $/barrel. Profits going up for Wressle.
Next stop....COP26....but remember !!....it will be 'after' COP26 that some stories break. Cheeky hey !
Thank you for your kind words Brixton.
I know that there are some good people that read my posts here but do not comment.
I enjoy what I write here when I have my sensible head on and also my creative side. So alls good for me.
we could always trigger a volcano.. that might cool things down a bit.
I read that global warming is 10 years ahead of recent predictions, could it be that our rush to "go green" has accelerated global warming due to the massive increase in the manufacture of wind turbines, electric cars, etc? Has "going green" actually created what the world is trying to avoid? I suspect it has.
Good post Heid but you've no audience here ? .
Just got back from walking my beautiful Alpaca. So what do we have today then..
That flaky looking one, Cop26 chief Alok Sharma, stating that the world will soon face catastrophe from climate change if urgent action is not taken. That is true Alok, so let's have some solid answers with countries larger than ours with much bigger omissions stepping up to the mark with the technology, skills and millions of pounds to cover it. Sadly Covid has come at a very bad time for many economies to splash out.
Here is a thought ..it would take 700 million electric vehicles to be on the road by 2050 to keep global oil demand at the 2019 levels of 100 MMbpd. But oil demand is growing in the meantime. Then the lack of investment in to oil, because of the greenies, and decline of output from Oil fields. There we see the perfect scenarios for oil demand traps. Same as part of the global air travel will not recover through the fear of covid infections. Now working from home becomes ever popular an will cut carbon emissions. So why will we spend out on an electric cars if you aren't in work everyday ?!
But the facts are, Oil demand will rise, and continue to rise. There are no alternatives to Fossil Fuels at this time for Oil or Gas.
So..these Anti Oil Agenda Benders are feeding us these forecasts and targets with the hope that Oil is going to just disappear.
I think they are talking rubbish.
Wressle and West Newton. We need you.
VIVA

Also , like I have said in the past ujo is my very last aim purchase, aim is bent in my opinion and I should stop gambling . I'm retired now and the market is now income .
Yes I am , my word . I made three initial purchases small ones out of leftover divi's early then 2 more out of divi's more recent but under water , I only by aim 9 out of 10 times from divi wonga.
so are you invested Brixton????
South London, the poor side of the river , back in the 50s/60s great times for kids , millions of us , total wicked sense of humour, not good for touchy serious up oneself peeps .
I do have two legs and a pair of breasts, yes.
Heid your a bit chicken ??
I only know about 6 people that go to work , 6 hundred that claim pension credit, pip rent and rates rebate , mobility and so on , my guess is we are bankrupt already but **** fan to come . We need jobs even oil jobs .
With the Green's in charge of the country perhaps they would like to explain how we will go about bankrupting ourselves in the process ?
Stay tuned cause it's going to get interesting.
As the wheels continue to fall off the COP-69, suck it and see wagon, I note that Judge Sophie Buckley has told climate policy chiefs to show why they think reaching net zero carbon emissions will cost only 1 per cent of GDP.
The Judge has said: ‘There is an extremely strong public interest in enabling scrutiny of the data, models and calculations which underpin the CCC’s conclusion that the net zero target could be met at an annual resource cost of up to 1-2 per cent of GDP.
‘Any errors in the calculations that led to the CCC’s conclusions, which, in turn, led to the legislative change, have the potential to have a very significant impact on the lives and finances of large numbers of people, on the spending of large sums of public money, and on the policies of the UK Government over the next 30 years.’
To conclude, what has been achieved is not sufficient to meet the Paris agreement’s target to limit global warming to well below 2C preferably to 1.5C.
Should have been called COP69 - so let's suck it and see.
The goal posts will need to be moved. To the right. Left...whatever. It isn't happening. New targets will be set.
But the smartest move was David getting this Carbon Intensity Study for West Newton and Biscathorpe. Now that is a trump card and will be key to attracting new investors to West Newton when we prove up the area. That 'AA 'rating and the Humber region and Teesside plans is the difference between becoming a successful Oil and Gas company tomorrow. Not today..tomorrow.
