Hi
My sentiments exactly. Theres only one way for UJO and that's north given the rns.
Sadly on AIM there are many many more traders than investors. Thus short term changes in price can be ridiculous, as stated by others, no justification for a drop on the confirmation here this week, far from it.
I suspect many believe the next pivotal news will now be in 2020, therefore the traders can sell here move on and pencil in to look again in January.
Who knows--its a mystery as if you had told someone last week we were going to get news that there was the biggest oil find for 30 yrs you would have said the sp must rise by at least 50%---TRX up 50% on just a HOLDINGS RNS!!
Can anyone see this nudging into the 0.1s ?. Truly hope not.
For the SP to drop so quick and far there must be a placing as i cant think of any other reason for the drop. imo
Oiler - fair dos, I take my post back.
Checkout---Agree--this is going on for far too long to be JUST finding the right equipment for OIL and not the gas they thought.
PANDA--I also posted earlier that that was my thought. There was an agenda. BMD talking up the sp by coming out with the volumes statement, COIL was tipped off, UJO came out with its confirmation on volumes PLUS---SP spiked to 18% up and then the sells came tumbling in and yesterday and a few today---I hope he has sold out as he has Tweeted and will be back in 2020---if you believe that. BUT it should wise us all up to the games and be aware when we get another spike to take our profits and buy in again on the drops. Thats a good plan??
"The catcher project cost $1.6 billion to sanction and this was for 96mmboe, WN is 180mmboe"
Apples and pears - Catcher is 98mmboe 2P reserves, WN 180mmbe oil in place, Catcher will ultimately likely recover 4-5 times more than West Newton based upon current mean case, assuming it flows.
WN is a great asset, but making bogus comparisons doesn't do anyone any favours.
I've just pinched a few more too. I can't help but think the reason it is so quiet is they are already in talks with majors, only my thoughts, and no background, but WN is huge and would bring a considerable amount of money to little UJO.
People keep banging the drum about a placing which may or may not come to fruition. RBD aren’t doing too well either & we know they won’t need additional funds anytime soon. This makes me think there’s another reason for the drop. Interested to hear peoples thoughts, we know the asset has bags of potential.
So did I
Will get more tomorrow if still under .21
Topped up a little
Morning guys, I think even with great news, this was Spike and the day traders will take their profit and we will be back to our current SP, IMO. Long-term holders will be absolutely shredded with what is going on around them. Stay strong people our time will come good luck all
It looks like the herd has turned....gl
Lmao..... "Find in the north sea fairly easily".
I don't recognize that point as true. It is considerably harder to take oil out at sea. I think that is why onshore is looking more attractive as an investment. If you look around the UK... conventional licenses and drills have been approved by a number of councils.
Should do...been there enough times..since 1970's
"With offshore companies willing to spend billions to develop a field l"
yes but they know they can do it and what the timescale is. Onshore UK is a zoo - years to get permission to drill or test a single well plus swampies all over the company and it's people. The Big Boys won't come anywhere near it.
You might, just might, get a medium sized outfit to take a look but at the upside case that 286 mm in place - say 30% recovery = 75 mmbl and UJO have 15% = 11 mmbbl - even a medium sized outfit can find that in the N Sea fairly easily - without any of the hassle.
Well I know..thats what counts...lol
will1734 I see your buy is shown as "unknown"
I think you are right isdeer, why woud they now with that sort of money
London,
49 posts and you are a trading guru, read the board Will, UJO wont be placing at this price, they have over £2.5m cash and will place at some point but only when they need the cash and thats not now and certainly not at this level.
What placing...looked through RNS'S did not see a mention of a placing..
Good luck, I’d wait for the placing before buying more.
