Excellent news. For mining stock slow and steady wins the race. Yes there always the risk when the stuff is only on paper but the risk and rewards are equally higher. Bill has the experience and eye to value a project. Have faith and keep invested.
How much "concern" should we have?
I read the very short article at the end of the link and from it I could not glean any indication that the return of the permits was a compulsory move by the Mexican Government. The article referred to "unused" permits and not active ones.
This could be the first step in an environmental movement so the Government can say they are reducing the acreage available for mining and carbon fuels extraction without causing a hit to the economy by forcing reductions in production by taking back permits covering active areas?
I don't know anything about Mexican corporate mining taxes but from the wording of this article it sounds like companies have to pay some taxon permits be they active or not.
Hope everyone has a good week.

From what I researched earlier in the year, the new president is looking at environmental impact and trying to to please people. But that's the good thing about UFO we have other assets which can take the wait.
Anyone care to comment on how Mexico is increasingly declining environmental permits for miners. I’m rather hoping we got wind that we were going to be declined and that’s why we recruited a local to assist with the process.
My contacts in Mexico are saying Covid is rife, because everything is about normal except no tourists.
Hi GGT113
Completely agree with you about open declarations of holdings on bulletin boards albeit in anonymity. Its like going to the pub, oh those are the long gone days, throwing the keys to the Rolls Royce on the bar and asking "Has anyone seen my car keys.....they are for my Rolls?"
Have a good weekend everyone.
(Has anyone seen my car keys.....they're for my Nissan Qashqai?")

Whether we like it or not its a valid point,we are funded for the rest of this year ,so we are told and we are not cash rich and at present not generating a income, next year will come around very quickly and we need to generate money this year or there will be another placing.
Heres hoping for a really good percentage wise JV
And how the **** do you "buy like crazy" with £200????
Completely agree. The talk of how many shares people have and how much money they have made is the reason I only look at this board no more than once a week. It makes me cringe. And I hate the word "cringe" so takes alot to say it. Vulgar...... Saying how many shares you have. Or telling complete strangers an indication of your wealth is absolute madness. Unless of course, Like you say, they live in Narnia.
There's no "WE" Avian, "WE" are invested, YOU are not. Always come on for a Friday night or weekend troll, pathetic.
Don’t worry...we are fully funded for eternity...right?!
Theres a good chance of results next week from either hamersley or donovan 2 as you said before it will change the view on the company!
Yes silverhorse. We have an incredible est target 245M tonnes of Iron Ore.
Iron Ore currently sells for $170/tonne and the processing cost of the large players is $15/tonne.
This means absolutely massive profits which is why Rio Tinto, BHP and FMG have paid out record dividends.
BHP became the most valuable company in the FTSE 100 in February

Twiggy upgraded his 25-year-old plane to the world's most expensive private jet - worth $98million - after getting $1.6billion richer in just six months

We are in a very unique position and I can only expect significant returns as we prove up our Iron Ore and other assets.
What some of you seems to forget is that the RNS are not just produced for people on this BB. 100s if not 1000s of investors have no idea about this board and do not want to participate . RNS are produced for the London Stock Exchange to let other investors aware.
Looks like its going to be one of those weekends so have a good weekend guys speak next week.

Max111 - Correct me if am wrong all the silver projects are side shows that will likely turn out good but rely mostly on the silver price - its the hamersley project will get peoples eyes open and donovan 2 - My drilling is getting interesting
Hi Istie
I agree with your comment regarding patience, and that things may not always go to plan etc. But I also believe that when you raise funds at the back end of last year I would assume these funds were allocated for the projects not just to pay salaries. Since then what have we learned? What has happened in the ‘exciting’ 1st quarter? Hence my comments regarding the 20/04 webinar it has to have meat in it if not could spell air of frustrated investors who are ready to abandon. It’s good to have Max onboard here to - think what he fails to realise it’s the pointless rns that is causing this frustration and no actual results and yet he keeps quoting them. Let’s see how it plays out at the webinar I’m sure there will be a lot of discussion thereafter
Hi Wolfy81
I am not the only one on this thread to say this but I will anyway; patience. Life itself does not go in straight lines, to a plan or the way we would like it to at our convenience. At the moment I see the situation with UFO, its projects, their potentials and the timings of them coming to fruition as a Rubics cube that needs realigning. All the pieces are in the cube. I am an LTH, I am in profit and I am prepared to wait.
As I have said previously, if I was on a plane about to take off the voice from the ****pit that I would like to hear is that of Mr Good. No whistles, no bells, false promises; just facts and that is what he delivers.
All the best
Istie
Where on earth do these people come from.
Quote at one point i only had £200 in the bank to live off now I am up over 100k
Here we go again another one from Nardia
In the real world if anyone real person had only £200 to live off ,putting money into Aim would be the last thing on anybodys mind.
Agreed PaulQ
i have nothing in the bank just physical silver and a bit of gold
No concern for LTHs or people with patience. My money is safer here than it is in the bank.
I will tell you the honest truth if covid had happen in 2019 i would of bought GGP sub 2p - I`am up alot of funds on bank stocks at one point i had only £200 in bank to live on - was buying like crazy - am up over 100k. Its risky/dangerous - Apart for this share all the rest at the moment are 50/50 buys
The Mexico permit delays are covid related since the Ministry have a backlog due to essentially being shut down/lockdown. This is out of our control. The company has done everything it can to try to speed it up including hiring a full time geologist in Mexico to chase the Ministry. The Donovan 2 permit also took ages. We applied for it back in Q1 2020 and only received it December 2020.
I think we applied for the San Celso & Los Campos permits back in Sept 2020, so it's a similar time to Donovan 2.
We have 100% ownership of our Mexico silver mines and our new Nueva Andromeda site.
The environmental permission is being concluded and we will crack on with putting drill holes in.
Silverhorse
PS also new to all this started early last year. i was lucky with a tip GGP at 12p
but have started doing lots of research as funny names are not the best way to pick stocks
I know the end results here - so am very happy
From 06/04
"The Board of Alien continues to assess a range of mineral projects and
opportunities, with particular focus on exploration projects with near term
news flow and value creation."
This reads to me that they recognise the short term price stagnation and are looking to output positive news flows. Short term. This is good.
