yeah its a good board , I hope in a year it doesn't turn into EUA board , I guess that's what happens when it becomes popular a massive inflow of people can ruin the quality. I hope in 6 months we will be discussing the finer details of projects or JVs and not the pointless fear about slow lab results
Great chat guys very good to read
This is why I come to this board some great point for and against the sp movement
I find it curious that if you were to randomly replace the name of any particular junior explorer with another on the various chat boards here on LSE how similar all the conversations would be and how easily one could be passed off as discussing a different company entirely.
It seems to be an industry wide standard at the moment to be waiting on info, and in the periods of silence question company boards/CEOs motives . Or alternatively question what they might possibly have to say to fill up silences in lieu of actually having the info people want to hear.
Investing in junior explorers requires an acceptance of a high degree of risk and a recognition that share prices tend to make big erratic moves interspersed with long periods of not much happening. So ask yourselves how much of what we are dealing with now is specific to UFO and how much is just a more generic reflection of the current status of the sector as a whole.
Intrinsically I think we all know that UFO has a lot of good projects on the go so offers a lot of potential for the future. All the chat here is just a means of filling the silence and controlling a degree of nervous impatience until the sector catches up on itself and deals with it's many administrative delays.
Pickuzawinnah. Nice post, I’ve never thought my Inichal post would create should a good chat good to see people’s comments. I do think that patients is the key here we just seem to have been juggling so many balls for quite some time UFO have so many good prospects. I see the tailings as a way to fund projects which again is fantastic which is something that the majority of explores do not have by the end of the year we will have a much clearer picture for sure. Have a good weekend guys have a new bbq to play with.

Hi Steveiom - it's not investing on no news, matey. There's news that's been published already by way of:
1/ investor presentation
2/ timeline of multiple parallel projects
3/ recent RNS around Tailings and the 20 projects (etc)
Put yourself in the shoes of someone who's weighing up a shortlist of companies to invest in, and Bill rocks up to clarify the current status on Munni-Munni/Andromeda/San Celso/Hancook. Regardless of wentsland's opinions about Bill's style (pauses show someone's thinking and considering their answers), there's one thing reading a proposal, and another thing seeing the presentation and interrogating the sales-person (in this case, Bill). Credibility, knowledge, confidence all go a huge way to convincing people. Some may prefer the smooth CEO business-person. Others may prefer the understated technical prowess.
Will there be a 10% drop after the webinar ? I doubt it on two counts: 1/ increased interest from people new to the UFO party, and 2/ we're another week closer to long-awaited news. Not to say that it won't drop. But that right now considering the circumstances I believe there's more chance (70% hance) it'll stick in this .975-1.05 range than dropping (20% chance) or markedly increasing (10% chance).
And like smiller says, this is all fine. So long as you're not looking to cash in now. Look at other exploration companies (GGP, EUA spring to mind), Long periods of trundling along followed by many multi-bags. not saying I think we'll definitely do the same (wishing but not expecting) but honestly have a look at the investor presentation again but pretend it's June 2022 and you're looking back on it. Today's frustration (natural though it is) will evaporate.
PS: Really appreciate this board for keeping it civil. One or two other boards are a nightmare.
wentsland I think your missing my point , is am not saying it wont drop a bit I am saying its irrelevant long term , delays on results will delay movement to a higher SP in time agreed. But when LTH here think in months not days its irrelevant . The fact they are drilling and getting results is what matters and the numbers from those results , I don't care if the lab is backlogged 2months when I am thinking in terms of 2 years like everyone should be here unless you a trading UFO. SP doesn't rise just because a company get timely lab results it rises based on the results of said lab results.
Sorry but i have to dissagree with you and smiler, the markets wants facts, there is already delays with there timescales and thats why we are where we are, nothing new from the webinar and no RNS prior to it and i believe it will drop.
As for the point of 5 mins on share talk, its the perfect platform for a GREAT CEO to sell his vision to perspective new shareholders, this is my problem and always have been, his webcasts do not inspire me, with his hesitant speeches and pauses, Mmmmmmmm.
I like the company and i am invested, but short term as i have said above, i believe this will drop, just remember you dont have to like everything about a company to invest.
The morning of the presentation most likely
Yes great debates here on this BB.
Smiller is right, most here are in for a few years, not months, to maximise growth of investment.
If the company is not ready/able to release then they have their good reasons..
But is there a magic lever somewhere.

Persevere and the humour prevails...
GWE.
I dont mean new new like results but perhaps a more detailed discussion on the PGE plan or silver tailings update I'll be happy to listen to that. 5mins on share talk hardly the platform to get into any meat . There is no real logic for a SP to drop because of a webinar. Its short term emotional volatility which means 0 long term
Nice to see some debate without name calling. So why would newbies invest on no new news? If they are the type of investor the company wants in, they would they not already know the official line through previous RNS's I doubt whether any savvy investors who will stick enough in to move the sp upward would do so through a regurgitation of what is already in the public domain through a webinar. For this to move on no new news these so called newbies are going to have to throw a few hundred grand in here to make this move. Without this all we'll see is a further stagnation in the SP for six months or until something substantial drops which is what everyone wants. Does anyone actually believe the sp will be where it is now after the webinar if there's no new news or will there be a further 10 to 20% + drop?
imo this debate of the presentation/webinar is a bit of an odd one. Will there be a significant new announcement ? Probably not.
Will there be clarification on current projects, communicating to new potential shareholders about the progress made at Hammersley, Munni-Munni, Andromeda, etc, and (critically for those about to join the UFO mothership) the news anticipated to come through 2021 ? Probably yes. Which would be frustrating for some private investors clamouring for something to propel the price up now, today, this minute. But not for others who've seen the timeline and can estimate what may come in the next 6 months.
I hope the webinar brings in a few more holders at about 1p/1.05p who'll have sticky fingers when we're flying past 2.2p.
SMILLER: Anything "New" will have to come via RNS.
There really is some short term thinking not cases on this board or derampers. Who cares if the webinar doesnt reveal new info. Like folk said the webinar is not only for us on LSE it's for new potential PI and any news and media is good. If people want to panic for no reason and sell good I'll be waiting to buy sub 1p. A year from now you really think the SP will reflect that one time Bill did a webinar and didnt discuss anything new lol . Labs are delayed it's clear all miners in oz waiting in the mean time hes advancing silver tailings for income and planning next phase from the MAG. People need to watch this share on the monthly time frame to relax.
Well if no news and sp goes down I will buy more have faith still in BBG
Surely the web air is a good thing letting more know what we might have ... joint investors maybe
You say it’s not a gamble but I’m gambling we have the resources in the ground
Gla
Just one final thought...
If the lab based results are not ready, he could always produce the provisional handheld XFR results, these are within +/-5% accuracy to the main lab results.
FRom memory, when we produced the Surface XFR results, the handheld and lab results were very close to one another.
If my back was in the corner, I would consider producing these as "directional results"
Sun out, so going to cut the grass, and sip some of that "dreamy" wine from Lichtenstein...
Good luck..
Maybe they have got wind of news and are selling Wolfy81,ready to buy back in next week at a lower price.
Only my opinion, what do i know.
Thanks Max fair point but I can look out of my window and see the ground - I want an accurate picture of what has been found because if not good they can have as much time as they want but it will be 50/50 after this if they ever actually make money as based on there current projects excluding Hamersley. Have a good weekend enjoy the sun if it’s out where you are and let’s hope for a good week next week
To add - also really concerned about the multiple £share sells going through each day at the moment dosnt paint a pretty picture
Hi Wolfy, VMS systems are underground, so can only only get an exploration estimate via drilling.
But you can actually see Iron Ore at the BIF ridges.
Turner Pope's research notes stated:
"Importantly, several kilometres of BIF has been identified with high grade ore which bodes well to achieving the Group’s
exploration target tonnage target of up to 245 million tonnes, which could potentially even need to be revised upwards following results from drilling that is expected to get underway in Q1 2021."

Also it's good to know DSO grade iron ore attracts a premium price on the seaborne market as Chinese steel works increasingly demand more pure inputs with lower emissions due to increasing strict government regulations.
This is why they will never restrict imports of Pilbara DSO Iron Ore and why Pilbara DSO is so special.
As an investor in an exploration company, I've learnt to be very patient. Have a nice weekend.
Dip you could be right there - it possibly will be aimed at new investors. Then if they can secure more funds Bills employment can carry on and he can continue to sit at home with his cat getting paid CEO money. I would just be concerned exactly what he will say to these new investors - what can he tell them? Other than names of places and he’s ‘excited’ and ‘looking forward’ to results they may be due next week or maybe within a year he’s not sure he’s waiting on a call about it. Fingers crossed I am wrong and Monday picks up but I’m quietly 87% sure we will have no new news and will be told again what an opportunity this is
I wish I wasn't so tied in to a few others at the moment because I would seriously consider going short on this if it was possible especially if there's no new news. Yes some think it's immoral but everyone to their own. There's no such thing as a cert but if there's no awesome RNS on Monday or Tuesday, the SP will no doubt drop much further than we are now. Sentiment unfortunately is in play and although many of these delays are out of our control if we don't get facts in the next few days it doesn't matter how many promises of riches are locked in the ground, people will simply walk which is a great shame because much of this could have been avoided if they'd have put more thought into how they write their RNS's. Never give a timeline or we expect results, or should have...... because when they're not delivered we all know what happens.
If no new news to accompany the webinar - Bill's primary objective might be looking to use the webinar to attract new investors?
Not everything is aimed at existing investors when it comes to these kind of activities - and those considering UFO from scratch will be interested in understanding the existing projects.
I totally get the frustration but impatience is a big enemy with investing, good to see PM prices are seeing a nice bump up :-)
Morning Turbo, all.
I am hopeful that some significant news can be released either before or after the webinar and prior to opening the next day.
He is taking a risk by doing another promotion, if we have nothing significant to add to the development timeline given out last time.
But Bill is a smart guy, and other management members should be advising him on best course of action to take.
If no new news then great, the fundamentals have not changed.
Global economy will improve and inflation will rise.
GLA.
Max - Alien are undervalued? Based on what? It’s all just hope and potential at this point except Capstone who will make us £1,000s not millions. If Hamersley is a dead horse this company isn’t worth its current value so kind of important. 2 months after results due the samples are in the lab they using a magnifying glass to test them? I’m not a glass half full in a realist and without any Information just hot air at this point oh and a lot of misdirection and lack of communication. As for RNS let’s hope it’s comes Monday.
