POW was in my portfolio a while back and outperformed all my other stocks at the time. As per my strategies I made a profit on what was required and moved on. Not overly upset by selling, but fk my boots ...if only!!! It was also strongly tipped as well, so continue with your own research.
Paul Johnson has his investor evening on 15th Dec, so I'm hoping for some positive news on KAT before then. Hopefully, UFO will be well above 2p by then.
placing killed momentum - investor show turnover pope this week - doubt anyone will go to listen to more b--ll-s hi-ttt
I do check in on them frm time to time and all the same. Now pow fir me there are just to many rns' really about nothing, and i thought he was slippers on interviews. I could be wrong vut its my gut so in out
I sold out of both made a little, also conroy gold never going to happen. To many delays. I mean now they have a check list at Katoro, they dint trust them. Presentation they did was awful. Iffy very iffy
Napthman. I hope you are wrong as I have a lot of money in KAT and POW.
POW is iffy, something juat is not right and soending alot of money and involved with Katoro which had to be a bad thing
My situation is about the same as yours Eddie, we should have taken some profit at least. What I still can't figure is how on earth did it go from 0.8p to 3p in 4 days based upon virtually nothing at the time. That damaged it a but i think but it will repair.
POW is a good share but I disagree with everything else you just said as it's pure uninformed speculation
Hmmm, I think the name is what attracts an almost cult-like, FOMO-fuelled, following. Power Metal Resources (POW) seems a more solid, going places, venture if you ask me.
Ouch crikey good profit 8k
Yes please settle for that
EDDIE,
In a word ouch! Dare I say, you could have traded them especially on the peaks and troughs? Hindsight is a wonderful thing!
ATI,
Beating The Street is also an audio book.
Another book is: The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. Although it's tough going...
I'm in at .7 but have watched a 25k profit drop to 8k.
Just seems to be going one way no matter what news
eddie82, depends on what price you came in at, how long you can afford to wait and of course whether you consider what UFO can do for you in the next 6 months.
As you can see and now know, I came in at 2p but my opinion has been for a good while to be HOLD.
Agree with Max, there is quite a day trader/daily SP watching mindset here from people who clearly aren't long term accomplished day traders. To all those new to trading, suggest reading Beating The Street by Peter Lynch, he famously said he never spent longer than 5 mins looking at a chart
*drill dates (not results!)
Unless you are a day-trader, people should not try to invest for immediate gains.
Eg, In Feb this year, I put some money in HOC. Next month they closed their mine and the SP got cut in half.
I didn't spend months moaning & whining on the HOC BB.
I believed in the company so I doubled down.
Then waited 2 months, then the SP doubled.
With the assay results and x4 permit & drill results we are expecting, December is going to be a phenomenal month for UFO. I have no doubt at all.
The disappointment continues. Frustrating.
Time for a rethink about this share for me.
