damo I took it as a mid tier company by MCAP , which can be done via exploration . 500M MCAP or something
When I heard Bill say during a recent interview that he sees Alien as an explorer and not a miner it confused me as this was contradictory to him stating Alien could become a mid-tier over time...
... I've give up trying to 'predict' business decisions or movement in SP, though I do enjoy the occasion "get ready to explode" comment now and again...
I'm still in the holding-but-not-bothered frame of mind as I'm either going be right or wrong about my decisions and I'm happy to live with either outcome.
Holding, still aquiring, not bothered.
Saw that too, the Microsoft CEO sold half his holding.
Yes we will get there , next AIM miner to have exposure too. I think 2022 going to be one hell of a year in the markets. Was just reading alot of CEOs are selling their shares in companies not just musk. If that's not a sign they all know they overvalued I dont know what is
The shooting up and down of the iron ore price is not so scary if you've been watching it for several years:
The Chinese regularly set out to lower the price by buying less iron ore . . . but the fact is, iron ore is needed to make steel, steel is essential to building projects, so anyone who has got hold of it (UFO) is going to make a buck!
What scares me is the Hanc0ck environment: blazing heat, scorpions, black widows, no cappuccinos for a hundred miles . . .
Men Down Under, respect it due!!
Take your time, and bring wealth to us all.
smiller £7 from TP.
Today's RNS for me is a watershed moment.
I came for the IO potential, today we have not only thought about digging it ourselves, we have now set up a vehicle to activly facilitate getting our product to market. Quickly..!
Sad we are below 0.7 but, it seems a good price to ramp up from.
Let's truck it and ship it!!
I'm surprised that there wasn't more reaction to the announcement but not complaining, got some time to top up. Maybe the market doesn't read into it like I do. The formation of a separate company to prove up the Hamersley resources allows for UFO to parcel and sell off part interest in their iron ore while retaining full PGM interests. It's a big move in terms of intent and flexibility and you would only go through the faff and paperwork if there were parties seriously interested in your iron ore - and who wouldn't be? It smells like a deal is seriously om the cards and I wouldn't be surprised if it was our Fortescue man shaking some hands.
Where you getting £7 just random low figure? ~10% of dso spot?
If you just calculate our 10mt, the mkt cap should be £70m, using the rock bottom minimum figure of £7, we are surely have at least a half price sale. Not allowing for our other prospects and known 4m. oz. of silver. Someone is painting the sale board for the Ore.
totally agree with all the comments here.. frankly we are pretty much at rock bottom price wise and anything too much lower than 0.5 and its really priced to go under.. clearly we are far from that..
Any offtake agreement would be good, difficult to know when this might occur.. but it "appears" that there are interested parties from the wording.. lets hope our man is Oz can deliver
The market will wake up one day.. but todays news was a good sign...
" This time next year Rodney"
Yeah another year to get to selling stage but by then I do expect this to be much higher few p . Hopefully EH goes well and silver much higher . Ridiculous the price of silver compared with every other commodities vs their all Time high
100% Smiller, there are very few undervalued sectors around at the minute and AIM represents the most unloved of the sector.
IMO the macro thesis behind PM’s has never been so strong.
Patience will be rewarded here, I believe - and recently saw Vale also believe this - that around February 2022 we will see a major turn around in the iron ore market to the upside (post Beijing Winter Olympics).
shame we in 2021 lol , I think the market just risk off at the moment. Although people consider AIM miners risky I find it less risky being in at these prices than the SP500 bubble or top tech companies. But intuitional money probably isnt allowed to flow here yet. Just continue to buy/add and wait for the bubble to burst and money to flow into PM. This a no brainer even with the 10Mt which is on the low side going forward
When the old timers back in t9th century made a resource discovery.. they instinctively knew if it was a bonanza well before anything was proven and any assays were done. Invariably in the case of gold or silver this sparked a rush to stake claims.
We know we have to wait for the final results but i bet Bill has a pretty good idea how big this is, with intuition and expreriance that he has at Hanc0ck. Like old Charlie Rasp a boundary rider that stumbled on a piece of silver poking out of the ground at Broken Hill in 1876 and immediately got six rich backers to form the famous Syndicate of Seven and thus BHP was born.
Bill Brodie would not be creating a brand new company ie IOCA if he wasn't sure. This news today 20 yrs ago would have sent the sp into orbit on pure speculation !
Why are jpeople moaning thid iton ore company will be good for Alien anf is an indication that the iron ore resource id going to be huge
And EH news soon.
This new company will bring a lot of attention and interest .. what's not to like.
Dyor .....any research. Ffs

Bill Brodie Good, Chief Executive Officer & Technical Director of Alien Metals, commented: "As part of the Company's commitment to fast track the iron ore projects, we have created a dedicated company, Iron Ore Company of Australia Pty Ltd (IOCA). With the third phase of drilling at Han**** started and our Country Manager, Lloyd Edmunds, continuing drive on the permitting and development aspects, we are very pleased with the progress and continue to push Han**** to be 'shovel ready' as soon as possible. We remain extremely confident about the prospects for our iron ore projects and look forward to updating the market as we go."
