Hi Nige, Tom
Sell what is this word.
Jan 31 may be the day I've always wanted to happen (no not Brexit rubbish ) 15m+ ounces could be 20p per share :))
Hi Tom
If it reaches 2.59, I will be holding a nice little profit (25%). If the price goes down below 2.4 I can sell my 2nd purchase (bought at 2.321) at a small profit and still holding 1st purchase (bought at 1.801). If I was to buy at 2.5 I have less wiggle room if the price goes down, so holding for 2.59.
In theory, once you have made the 2nd purchase you cannot lose money, and if the price goes up you can just keep on buying (hopefully safely), but cos Aim I have an upper limit on the amount I will purchase.
Bit like Ice's ladder system.
Hope this makes sense, have a great W/e and BoL
Nige hi, bit off topic but,
Sorry but I do not get what you mean "will need to buy some more ggp on 25% profit again (when Sp reaches 2.59)" why not get then now at 2.50 and do the same thing or maybe you are too late as we are expecting a rise tomorrow ???? or are you expecting them to retrace back to 2.59 !!!! then that I understand.
Have a great w/e and good luck for next week.

Tom :-)))
Hi Tom
My relative price graph is converging, which infers Sp being driven by momentum. This implies highest should be higher and lowest lower. So if 04/01/19 = 100
bdev = 171, rdw 161, tw 159, bwy 156 and psn 152
Note bdev IntRes 05/02/20 and average increase about 60% in little over a year.
At least +ve momentum and just hope it continues.
Hopefully I will need to buy some more ggp on 25% profit again (when Sp reaches 2.59), then 3* orig holdings. Trouble is it's eating up my Isa Builders float.
BoL
what another one? what is it this time? lol
Nige hi,
Well done that man :-))))))
Have a good 'n'

Hi Tom
As well as being stupid the market is weird. Monday was great for me then everything went quiet until today - much better than Monday.
After reaching 25% profit on ggp I doubled my holding (reducing profit to about 12%) - but now back up to over 19%.
My idea is to repeat the process, but don't know what to sell.
Even nano up 13.1% this week (but can't sell them).
Have a great W/e and BoL
Bamps / Nige hope you are watching GGP just got back from shopping to see 2.50 so as Troubles said could break 2.50, it just did. What is this going to do next week. Great to see TW at 224 ish.
All have a great w/e
A very happy Tom :-)))))))))))
Nathan Hi,
Pick it up In March when the new plate comes out, cant wait !!!!! Hope you are keeping well !
Have a great w/e
Tom :-))))
"Ello Tom, got a new motor?"
An encouraging start to the year here! GLA!
Morning Tom, Nige, Troubles
I'm only holding a small number in this at mo it's too high for me to back in yet don't want to get trapped.
My biggest play at mo is Cerp in doldrums again or is it. The price keeps bouncing easy way to make 20% every couple months now at 2.6p sell at 3.2p ish
Happy days
Hi Tom,
Have a great weekend.
Keeping an eye on GGP and wondering if it'll get its head above 2.5 (maybe a psychological barrier).
Personally, like gold where I can see it but could fly.
BoL
Troubles Hi,
Cheers and a good post.
Have a great w/e all.
Tom :-))))
Nige hi,
This is a temporary thing and as I said I will be back before the EXDD no matter what the SP is. My objective was to pay for my new 2020 M4 and that target has been achieved. I said in my post I agree that AIM is more risk so I am very aware of that point. I can buy all my TW shares back with a lot more to boot so not worried there at all.
Its great to See TW finally on the road North but so are GGP. Things change day by day and I have learnt to make a move when I thinks the time is right for me. Its no good sitting on the fence watching the clouds go by when you have a target in mind, go for it as they say, and that is exactly what I have done, and as you know I have done the same every other year when I set my sights on a new BMW as I love cars, its my sport.
All the very best as always.
Tom :-))
Hi Nige,
I'm not surprised at all.
Every individual has different objectives and it appears that Tom has ticked most of his.
Anyway, the goal isn't more money - it's living life on your terms.
GLA
Hi Tom
Most surprised you sold out. Think you will find it difficult to get back in at a lower price than you left at.
Of course this doesn't matter if you are making more money elsewhere.
There can be no doubt (as Owls said) more risk in Aims, but also more potential profit, if you get the timing right, no doubt you will do better than main market (as you have proved), but that is a big IF.
I have a small pension, don't like to take too many risks, so as I previously said, I would not have more than 30 - 40% in Aims and no more than 10 - 15% in any particular one. This suits me, but I have my own system which certainly will not suit everyone.
When you get back into Builders, I suggest you diversify into psn, bdev, bwy and rdw (as well as tw of course), good Divis from Psn coming soon, but bdev doing very well right now.
Thanks for ggp, I will build my holding there. Hardly in a position to advise you, but just my thoughts.
No criticism meant and I wish you the very best of luck.
Tom, I was replying to Nige, not quite sure why you take everything so personally.
Congratulations on your success but my opinion is still that AIM is riskier than the main market. If you can prove to me that this is not the case then I may invest in it, but otherwise I'll stick to the main markets.
Hi Troubles,
I am going to order a pair of these, they look the bizz. Thanks for the info !!!!

The western screech owl is the best I think. Some sound awful. Imagine having a few of them nesting on your roof. LOL

Bamps hi,
Glitch No2
SXX have now 74 RNS posted today What a laugh, I thought someone was joking until I seen it myself. What a hoot as they say LOL
Bamps hi,
GLITCH ????
LSE have just published an RNS today from 21st Jan on the GGP board and some over there have decided that its a """BUY, BUY """" for sure not realising its 2 days old, have a look !!! now that is some sort of CLITCH to say the least when its giving share investors OUT OF DATE information ???????
It is even effecting the share price until its seen as out of date, its disgraceful.
Tom !!!!! I think lol
Hi Bazz
I looked at Slp but decided to stay with Jlp same Market but refine the tailings left behind by mining. Governments have started paying them to clean up old workings. More chance of a 6x with that one.
Hi Tom
Think that was just a glitch, keep calm :)))
Bazz hi,
Very best of luck with SLP, its great when things are looking Rosy !
Bit dull today and raining here :-(
BOL
Tom :-)))))
Hi Tom, no I'm not in GGP - looks like it is doing well for you. I like SLP which I first bought at 17p, it is now 44p and should keep going for a while especially as their commodity prices have risen significantly in the past 12 months. BOL
