There you go re share prices !!!! now at 169 ish
Bamps Hi,
Yes as they say all share dealing is a risk and that's for sure. However that risk I took selling some TW at 1.67 has already paid off as we are down at 161.65, I bought GGP at 0.01799 and they are now at 1.85 so up there. We all know we are dabbling in the dark areas ATM with all the nonsense going on but you must take a risk now and again. TW have been down for many months and seem to be at a low ATM so switching your bets to somewhere that are due for some really good news seems to me a sensible thing to do so that's why I did that swap. You think my buy was a risk what about owning over 12 million, now your talking. GGP are the biggest risk I have ever done but as they say " you have got to speculate to accumulate" It could also be the biggest mistake of my life but there you go, its Share dealing, in it to win it.

Hi Nige
You seem comfortable with your plans and keep busy with your system. Keep at it.
My divi stocks are my investment and I don't normally swap them about even when they go down, cos they're spread thinly some go up cancelling the others loss, keeping the total roughly stable.
My growth stocks are my hobby, the research, the buzz when one goes right. Last 2 years it's been Ggp, at the moment it's Ukog, next year Cerp ( and maybe Tw). I'm forever hopeful:))

Brexit - DUP rejects things as they stand.
ATM seems so-called PM could not buy them with infrastructure spending and abortion U-turn.
Hi Tom
No idea where Sp will go, but expect low 140's again before things are sorted. Day traders delight, (but I am not a day trader). Not too bovvered cos all builders massively undervalued and only a matter of time before true value realised.
According to my out of date numbers (no guarantees):
Jun-15 sp 191, Eps (profit), 13.3 so Per 14.4
Dec-18 sp 137, Eps 21.3, so Per 6.4
The fact that profit has increased by 60.8% yet the Sp has dropped by 28.3% is madness!
Broker Jeffreys said this is cos the market expects a drop in House prices of 12% if No Deal (which they disagreed with!)
Even a drop of 12% in house prices will barely affect Builders (sit on land banks until prices improved cos no cash issues), preventing drop in prices, and why would No Brexit effect Supply / Demand to begin with?
Builders are the biggest bargain now, and yes you could make more out of ggp, but that's not guaranteed.

Hi Bamps
Completely agree with you - very risky strategy. One day you might hit a Microsoft or Apple, but for every one of them a thousand go broke. Agree with your idea of holding smallish % ages in many and adding if doing well.
My idea at the moment is that builders are so massively undervalued, why bother with anything else? Safe as houses (cos of cash and margins), potential 100 % + increase in Sp to reach true value, and it's only a matter of time, depending on Brexit.
No Deal will prove the market is wrong (so needs to revalue Builders), No Brexit means Per's can return to pre Brexit levels (so Builders increase by about 70% to undervalued pre Brexit levels), but if a Deal the market will remain totally confused about true value, probably leaving Builders undervalued for as long as No Deal.
Best to be sorted Asap one way or another, so agree with BoJo from that point of view.
Broker Canaccord? increased target price for bwy as their price going south (after FinRes), cos of increasing NAV (Net Asset Value). You can read the report here on bwy News board. My Float 54% in cash now rest in bwy.
Horses for courses, Tom OK no doubt cos of massive tw pension.
Still think my system is best, move a float between 5 Builders (depending on RNS's and Divis), which I think can improve performance by about 20% over LTBH. I just grabbed bdev Divi (6.63% at my av of 555) and sold float at 649 (giving another 5.02%), total 11.65% return since 1st float buy (19/08/19). This is unusually good for grabbing Divis, but given current volatility not too surprising,
My system does not work on Divis, just RNS's. Basic idea if tw inc Sp after Fin Res is 20% (Y/e Dec) and then Flat lines, and bdev inc in Sp 20% after … (Y/e Jun), sell tw float after FinRes and buy bdev, you've made 40% in year, and Divis just a bonus! Obviously not quite as simple as that.

Hi Tom
That's a big risk Tom putting all that in GGP no matter how good they are, but you must believe in them.
I've just topped up with UKOG they're drilling at Gatwick . Tweet yesterday "the core is bleeding profusely with oil" and today a photo of an ammonite that came out of the core. I'm finding reading about it very interesting and believe it's going to spike, but what do I know :))
Hi Tom
Just sold remaining float in psn so only base value left av price 1510, cur price 2354, so leaves a nice big (paper) profit. Also made about 20% on deal. I never sell my Base shares, psn bought late Nov 14, so always in profit.
At least I thought I sold them - but after 4:30 and not gone thru yet - think something to do with the auction (UT Deal).
No doubt it will go thru and from now on I will put a limit on the deal if after 4:30.

10,800 Just gone through :-))) @ 1.671868, now for the buy !!!!!
Lee Hi,
Yes I know how you feel and there is nothing wrong in selling especially if you are in major doubt, nothing wrong at all, I have done the same in the past.
I have also taken a stand and have set another limit sell for 10800 shares at 1.67 as I have still doubt that anything will come just yet. Another reason I sold this amount particular is that I want to purchase 1 mill additional share in GGP as I personally think they will be into some really good news imminently and my investment may increase far quicker there than here.
I still hold a very large holding here that't a long term hold.
The final reason I have done this is simply that I am at paper loss here so drastic measures to reduce that risk must be done.
As they say Go with the Gut.
Hope we both have done the right thing and good luck to us for taking that choice.
Best of luck
Tom :-)))))
Hi TomE,
I personally sold near brake even just a moment ago, with the mindset that "my gut" is telling me there will be some further challenges to come. It's a risky move at this point as it could all come good and I will kick myself if so, but my holding was insignificant to all you big boys anyway.
Although seeing multiple times in my portfolio over the months, gains being lost, my nerves can no longer take it ;o)
Morning all.
If we do not get news where do you think the SP will end by this Friday then Monday after the w/e ????????
If an extension is forced the same question ???????
Something to do while we wait on the fence.
Cheers
Tom :-)
