Kever - I admire, and respect, your patience . . . . . .
"Provisionally SUBJECT to finance not a firm booking ffs"
The rig contract has been signed and a deposit paid for it. It is a firm booking for the rig.
How long is a piece of string ?
that's the only thing that keeps me here, actually that a lie been here for years for namibia and south africa , not chicken feed 30-40m camroon, only thing different this time , to the past 4 years , is this time he actually managed to get a provisional wide slot with a deposit, not just an expect to be drilling in , like last year q1 2023 various plus additional drills across the year and production..........etc
lard **** at least has a chance this year subject to finance, that was today or in the next few days 2 years ago.
provisional to the market is , so what, might , might not another delay. until he finally pulls his finger out and does what he has pushed for 4 years, its still only maybe baby !!!!
goodnight and goodbye for now, will not post again until he produces and rna message finance done, rig firmed.
so with ja's history , you lucky people , could be my last post until next year, heading into a drill. 😉😂🤣😂
As accurate as ever Kever , Mr I Have been TOLD vast's diamonds are the tender at this weeks Dubai auction.
Not once but came back for another load of ⚽⚾⚽🏀🔐🔏🔓🔒's the same a few weeks later , hard of learning not to make an embarrassment of yourself ffs 🙄🤦♂️
Your the epitome of the Yank saying , all guesswork and don't know 💩from a hole in the ground.
Provisionally SUBJECT to finance not a firm booking ffs
"ASAP , the rig company will not hold the slot forever , if another PAYING customer inquires and we have not firmed up the deal. "
The rig slot is booked for July/Aug and TRP have paid a deposit to secure the rig. TRP have until late June to get the finance sorted. Plenty of time.
"Not the case he has presented timelines for drilling program , not just a single drill and it was not for this year"
Timelines given are not set in stone. It took longer than expected for the drill contract to be signed and the licence extended. Both issues out of TRP's hands. of course if you were CEO these matters would have been sorted in days.
"Local bank finance was also in an rns , paperwork if not TODAY in the next few days, that was 2 Septembers ago."
Visittimor I suggest you go read some recent RNS's. The Cameroon BGFI bank finance has been off the table for some time.
ASAP , the rig company will not hold the slot forever , if another PAYING customer inquires and we have not firmed up the deal. 🙄 Low end rigs , still cost in the order of $175k - $200k per day, they always look to keep them fully booked, every down day is a big loss. Top end rig platforms can be in excess of $1m a day. 😲🤑
How long to wait before finance deal concluded? End of July? End of June?
Local bank finance was also in an rns , paperwork if not TODAY in the next few days, that was 2 Septembers ago.
Not the case he has presented timelines for drilling program , not just a single drill and it was not for this year. 🙄
"On the other hand the famous line of ‘talks are progressing’ has been dragging on for a number of years."
Lots of preliminary talks will have happened over many years. The serious talks will only have started since early FEB when the licence was extended
You talk rubbish Pauly89
Stick to Contarf
I can see both sides of the arguments.
On the one hand it seems that the rig could arrive by August and no new until finalised discussions makes sense.
On the other hand the famous line of ‘talks are progressing’ has been dragging on for a number of years.
He does not have a good reputation I hear. Director of numerous companies is not a good sign.
8th February RNA message update - License extension granted and...........
The Company is continuing discussions with several parties regarding asset-level financing for the NJOM-3 well, for which it has contracted the Norve jack-up rig with Borr Drilling. Borr Drilling's latest advice is that the Norve rig is expected to be able to mobilise to Cameroon between June and August 2024, subject to its existing contractual commitments. The Company will make further announcements about the financing of the well and the mobilisation of the rig as firm agreements and notices are finalised and received.
Last line says it all, wait , wait , wait, lets hope he gets it done in time this year. GLALTH
ISA load for me the 23m+ trade

Averaging down, to date, has not paid off. From 0.15 to 0.05 and downwards with all the confetti. There has to be a limit to averaging down. Come on JA- lets have the RNS about funding and get drilling.
I will do. Thanks for the info. ATB

Ask him yourself, he has always been on the ball about various queries I had.

That's good , I'm assuming you got the obligatory ' Talks are continuing / progressing ' Any further timeline ?
ATB
