More time being wasted by Parliament and Ministries. And set to continue being discussed this week. All part of the attention seeking behaviour of SIK who remains in S Africa trying his best to get attention for himself. A bit like somebody else; their ability to speak, type, make noise is endless. Oh that some of it was in any productive. Both legends in their own mirror.
Forgot to register an opinion!
Moagi has an interesting philosophy.
You can claim anything will happen in this world and never be wrong as long as you leave the question of timing out of it!
I have unintentionally seen TG in those terms, and allowed mitigation on his timings, but moagi does not recognise his success at all.
So here is a prediction that Moron might make that will never be wrong as long as the event survives , and even then it could reappear.
Winston Churchill will win the Olympic Gold in the men's 100m hurdles.
Winston is a fairly popular Jamaican male name, so there is a chance , a better chance than civil war I hope?
When I go to football, you would not know Poppy had been left alone for over 3 hours - everything appears to be in place when I get home.
On Saturday I found a clue on where she spends her time!
The upstairs TV was on with the remote on the bed! She'd obviously been on my bed , something she would not do when I am at home , she is not allowed on beds or chairs etc, and activated the remote.
Got a decision to make now. Do I close the bedroom door or not in future?
Poxymoron talking oxymorons as always.
Nobody is interested in what I have to say , and nearly every post he plagues this board is either about me or referes to me.
He is obsessed with anything that starts with SIK or SEK , and I would have a bet with him that more people would rather read about Poppy than either of them! SIK probably thought Massissi was his cissy when he supported his succession! When he started investigating SIK it made SIK sick , just like Poxymoron he got that completely wrong! MyCissy was his own man, clearly!
Enough about your civil war mongrel.
What I will concur with is , is the probable delay at Synergen. They may not be affected in the prototype's development but Australia, as usual, jumped into lockdown immediately, so delivery to Lesedi looks likely to be tricky.
I saw an African doctor on Andrew Marr who thought the Omicron variant has a very minor effect on sufferers, having been one of the first victims herself! It is a pity the called it the Botswana variant because it focused on us!
They have named the variant after moagi you know! Omicron is an anagram of "moronic".
The amount of funding we need as cash in hand is going to decided by Synergen's progress. So your sarcasm is , as usdual , nearer the truth than your serious thoughts.
For starters whether we need Solar panels now or not!
The alternative is bringing in lateral drills for extra wells, plus generators for CBM power .
Those alternatives will determine our earnings potential and when we can start repaying the loan.
One last thing, Poxy , both us do not attract replies to our posts. Soifthat is relevant , why do you post?
And how do you know how how our posts are received? I hope logical suggestions for my on topic posts are seen as possibilities - your fanciful carp can be filtered with absolutely no impact on the average reader. The lack of a response confirms nothing.
SynMet management have been talking to that acclaimed money management guru BS who has persuaded them to delay their IPO because once they bring into funds, shareholders will start to demand to see a shareholder return. So probably better Synmet issue PR to the world about what great technology they have rather than get stuck in and commercialise it.
Anyone still believe synergen met will have us up and running q1 next year? I still can’t believe the chairman didn’t mention anything about the funding!

Right, let’s try to get to talking, understanding and appreciating what is going on in Botswana. Much as I love TOTP and Queen and Bournemouth FC and all the other endless, never ending endless, ballix posted by the resident ‘Tlou and CBM expert’ here, every now and then we do need to focus on what’s happening in Botswana, what’s stopping things from advancing in the way our logical western world minds think these things through, what actually are the real levers and drivers as to progress in the underlying Botswana economy since those things will ALL add up to what provides the impetus to CBM in Botswana finally getting up and running.
So - now that SIK has seruptitiously skipped the country (with the help of his SA mates) a week plus ago, has allowed the above ‘teaser’ to be aired on social media, with his great ‘reveal’ coming on Tuesday …. What that (to me) means is the entire functioning of Govt and Ministries and civil service has now unofficially stopped for the rest of 2021 - until they see what the fallout, drama, BS, noise, nuisance, etc is after his big Tuesday reveal ends up being.
Tlou WILL NOT be announcing funding in 2021 is my view /opinion. And whilst I 100 per cent hope I am idioticly wrong - well there is always a first time!
Come back here in February 2022…. when noise levels start to pick up again, and hopefully we can see real progress come April.
Botswana, with the greatest respect to an amazingly beautiful country in places, is a total toilet in terms of getting things done, progressing, moving forward, making money for the private sector.
Stick that in your pipe BS and smoke it and see if you can come to any conclusion that is different from St Tony planned all this. Jeez - what a twat !
Up to each of us to decide if this is important or not for Tlou. I happen to believe it is.
KHAMA ENLISTS FORMER NIGERIAN PRESIDENT IN ANTI-MASISI CAMPAIGN.
-Robust press briefings planned
Nigeria’s former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, will soon address a press conference expressing support for Ian Khama in his campaign to discredit Botswana and president Masisi in their ongoing fallout.
Sources tell The North West Mail that Khama’s recent secretive move to South Africa was part of a plan to attend a meeting organized by the Radebe family, also attended by the Nigerian former president Obasanjo, SANCO’s Gauteng Chairperson Chris Malematja, Tshekedi Khama, Carl Masters (former Jamaica ambassador to USA), Abner Mosaase and Phillip Musekwa (Advisor to SA Sports Minister Nathi Mthethwa.
In the meeting, it was agreed by Obasanjo and other prominent persons that a campaign involving a series of robust press conferences be organized in support of Khama’s political agenda and be commenced soon to mount pressure of Masisi and the Botswana government.
As part of the same strategy, in Botswana sources say the UDC and other opposition parties will hold a series of press conferences against “the victimization of Ian Khama by the Botswana government.”
The press conferences are expected to use very robust and incendiary language yet to denigrate Masisi.
This meeting is reported to have been held at Khama’s old Afrikaner friend only known by the name Marias and was coordinated by Oupa who is a cousin to Jeff Radebe, Bridgette Motsepe ex-husband.
The North West Mail is told that Bridgette has as per advise, taken a backseat following advice.
Her role is to sponsor the activities behind the scene, including bank rolling other influential players who are expected to land their voice to Khama’s campaign in South Africa.
The two named South African government officials, Phillip Musekwa and Abner Mosaase will not be publicly visible in order to avoid political controversy.
