Ho ho ho.
Happy birthday donkey
Donk over 100M? Was that an april fool ?
Donk grew up being told he is the stupidest person in the world. He is proud of being a world champion and we are all boosting his confidence that he still holds that Lonsdale belt. Or he is a masochist and prefers our abuse to the strap his dominatrix uses on him after she takes his nappy off. He is sick guys! The metal on that belt must hurt below the belt!
Did Donk actually value TLOU above 100M? Hard to believe! If we end up issuing 2Bn shares that is an sp of 5p per 100M
100M is apparently the threshold for the big institutions to take an interest in us. If they include finance house we may not reach 2Bn and if they are investment companies then competition for shares could boost the price considerably. The only way is up.
Donk, in the space of couple of weeks you've gone from talking about a lights out s*** show to a future buy out at 100's of millions, and let's not for a minute imagine you're estimate isn't on the low side.
Imagine a politician had publicly admitted he'd say anything to get elected. Well, with your self confessed agenda, that's about how much credibility you have here.
You asked a question... In what way am I worried.. On the hard stuff tonight? Does it help with the pain of how badlly you have been burnt?
32 and counting. Really what are you so worried about. Let the company do its own talking.
"Clooless - tell me, are you getting Interpol + President Masisi and (gosh I forget the 3rd idiotic party you claimed)." What are you on about lol?? You well and truly lost the plot? Or is this trying to put the blame your historic losses on anyone else but yourself? Couldn't be your fault right? You are so great, yet seem to constantly get it so wrong....
Why did the Doc and BPOPF not subscribe to the fund raise in December ? Why did BPOPF take until middle March to commit funds?
I know. They wanted to make it seem like it was easy for Tlou to get their money. So simple really.
Clooless - tell me, are you getting Interpol + President Masisi and (gosh I forget the 3rd idiotic party you claimed).
Beats me why you guys spend so much time defending a company and disparaging me for a company you so totally believe in. If the model is so good; if the future is so bright; surely you just stop humouring me and let Tlou deliver finally. But not you guys. Why is that I wonder.
Everyone else - the pump and dump brigade are returning here. I suppose it will be good to get the share price up somewhat.
What do BOTS and DONKEYS have in common? Both are asses a s s e s in case their are asterisks.
And he chose them for himself? So not totally stupid perhaps?
If anybody gets notification from their brokers that they are entitled to apply for some of the 169M shares , will they please inform the rest of us so we can all plan whether we wish to apply and organise our finances accordingly.
BOTs you speak as if you are actually part of a significant investor base in Botswana that think they are going to take their time getting to 10MW, they are obviously going to get there ASAP, hopefully by the end of the year..
I mean I get that you think you know the goings ons on the ground in Botswana if you did you wouldn't have made the unfortunate comment and I quote again as I will keep doing "In short, this current fund raise from sources in Botswana is by no means going to be easy to arrange".. 28th Feb I bet you wish you could delete it lol..
It was unfortunate as less than a month later the BPOF more than trebeled their holding, talk about having your finger on the pulse! So yeah anything you say can't be taken seriously, you should make another username (would that make it your third or fourth lol)
And Green Hydrogen Winni .... TLOU have many options given time. Maybe not for motor cycles but 4 wheelers upwards will hopefully have adapted diesel engines and hydrogen feeds. And TLOU HYdrogen will have a fleet of them delivering the cylinders of hydrogen in their own htydrogen powered fleet. Full circle there! If crypto remains there is crypto mining potential for onsite CBM there too! And Orapa is on the horizon for a CBM feed too. I hope there is life after death - I want to witness how it materialises.
One across, 4 letters, ends with a K.
Clue: Bitter, disingenuous, with barely hidden agenda,
Of course the plan is not to stop at 25MW - and you know full well i never said or thought that.
The question is how long to get to 10MW, then up to 25MW. Then to upgrade the line to evacuate a meaningful amount of power that will sell into the grid to make a meaningful business here. Mmadinaire 100MW solar farm at Silebi-Phikwe is a construction site and will deliver power to the grid by middle 2025. Tlou getting to 100MW will be by ..........
This fannying around at 2MW or 6MW or 10MW - frankly who do you think down there cares about such piddly amounts.
Do you really think the project will only ever peak at 25mw with all the gas under ground and sunshine above. A project that has taken over a decade to come to fruition. Well Bots it just as well you have never invested in the company then .. I believe the bigger picture for this project is 100mw+ over time …
One easter bunny has a stutter and the other has resorted to unbecoming language. High quality individuals.
Still all that is happening is we are circling back to 2017 days when the dump and dump crew circle their wagons when threatened by others that know the truth. Clooless is part of the old brigade; no doubt others will reappear under old or new guises.
Thanks for the input BOTS, filed it in the bin.. Where it belongs after you made this comment less than a month before the Botswana Pension Fund more than trebled their holding in the company "In short, this current fund raise from sources in Botswana is by no means going to be easy to arrange"..
Hope everyone is having a great Easter!
What's up Donkey? I guess you are upset to see a string of posts getting a couple of ticks? So you thought you'd ruin it? The only ticks you get are on your genitalia.
Large scale projects can have price adjustments inbuilt thus protecting future pricing - normal in large scale projects.
25MW power generation means this will never be a large project. The TX line would need significant upgrade to enable larger scale power evacuation, so more time wasted before getting to significant revenues. Doesnt matter then how many well minded souls want to support you - your revenue remains a limiting factor. 25MW should make Tlou cash flow positive but net profits resulting in dividends to shareholders going to take how may more years.....
Of course everyone is put out of their agony if Tlou is taken out by someone. 2 billion shares in issue for 10p would be 250m dollars. Tlou shareholders wont be getting Aussie prices a la Arrow and Sunshine; you we just wont!
Happy Easter bunnies
This is how chat rooms were designed to work imho.
Good theories, bad theories, confident responses, no responses, but civil chat and people being honest?
As to the 25Mw I agree with you clueless.
I expect 10Mw from CBM and 15Mw from Solar during the day as I said before,
At night when Solar drops off part time generators of CBM power? Or Batteries (I hope not - they are going to plague the planet with these electric vehicles being forced upon us).
Hydrogen is the solution for me but will somebody perfect Green Hydrogen one day?
I found this ...
"https://africanfinancials.com/tlou-energy-limited-botswana-operational-report-quarter-ended-30-june-2022/" from which ...
"EOI with GreenCo Power Services Limited
The 66kV transmission line currently under construction is expected to have a capacity of up to 25MW. With 10MW already committed under the PPA with BPC, the Company has been marketing the additional 15MW of power to other potential off-takers. Tlou has received an Expression of Interest (EOI) from the leading Zambian based renewable energy organisation, GreenCo Power Services Limited, the Southern African Power Pool’s (SAPP) only market participant member, which has expressed interest in supporting Tlou to market its surplus power from the Lesedi project via the SAPP competitive markets."
How good is that? Competition will help us get a decent electricity price as TG always expected in the future - and from there he did not a large PPA at prices from a decade before. He is genius imho.
We're 38% through substation scope as of 23rd of Feb which includes the additional work to take us beyond 10MW.
Surely we'll be pressing on with the Design mods to allow for the 25MW if at all possible.
I'd guess the recent funds will help out.
Thanks Thorn, yes good point the substation will need to be upgraded. Confirmed with sources on the ground the transmission line can handle 25MW.. Hopefully upgrading or adding another substation will be simple task once we achieve the 10MW
Hi clueless, this was from Jan's quarterly report.
The planned substation at Lesedi was designed for an initial 5MW of power, however the Company is working on options that may allow the substation design to be adapted to facilitate expansion beyond 10MW.
A new substation is required at the Lesedi end of the transmission line whereas at the opposite end, it will tie into the existing BPC substation at Serowe.
Including the additional work required to expand capacity beyond 10MW, the substations are approximately 37% complete. It is currently anticipated that the project will be completed around mid-2024.
Doesn't quote 25MW but is beyond 10MW so let's hope it is.
Thanks again Brad but am I correct in saying that the transmission line can handle up to 25MW? So there will be some scope to expand electricity sales further before this becomes an issue?
Agreed Brad, I was fine just not reading his messages before as trust me they are dull af.. Everytime he posts though I will remind him of his funding prediction that was probably one of the biggest f*ck ups I have seen
