Based on the link Anacott shared, neals yard has moved to Shopify

Why is everything always so uncertain / unclear on thg
Just read the case study on Neals Yard - pretty impressive.
In case anyone wants to read

"THG Ingenuity may well be performing well ....but it's not a reason to buy IMO"
Understand your points.
But point is if Eg Nutrition was valued at £800m million (just 1x revenue), Ingenuity at say £350m (just 3x revenue), i would say fine. Fully agree.
But currently NO VALUE WHATSOEVER IS BEING ATTACHED TO THESE DIVISIONS!!! LOL
I've no idea - there's no reason for them not to buy.
The company from a financial POV is strong, good B/S too - Cash is looking a lot better.
CAPEX investments will stop destroying our profit in the near future (If we stop buying companies for a bit)
It will be a profit producing business within the next few years.
But again - Companies go under the radar for so long (One with this much revenue I'm surprised at)
I was in a company a few years ago that 10x'd for me, all of their reports/data was indicating the share was going to do it. Yet people still avoided it and shorted it to silly levels.
Sp28 can you share this LinkedIn post?
Thanks
Agreed but when you think about it logically….how on earth is this share not being bought at 82p!! Why do not institutions pop in and load up. Don’t get it at all
Absolutely agree Trenners.
82p seems to be the resistance of the day. BOO and ASC (not really full peers in my opinion, but the market suggests they are) doing much better.
SP28: I take what THG employees say on social media re: how the business is performing with a pinch of salt now.
I recall - in January - we heard how THG had smashed all Black Friday targets (based on a LinkedIn report or two that was subsequently removed) and we all held onto our shares awaiting the mid January update (expecting the shares to explode). Many of us - including me - added more shares of the 18th January update.
And we all know what happened next ..... Update was presented and shares absolutely cratered ....
THG Ingenuity may well be performing well ....but it's not a reason to buy IMO.
Trenners
I like that description 'Coke Cowboys'
Pretty much sums up everyone in the city, covering our politicians all the way to our investment firms.
Barclays now value the whole of Thg at £1.5 per share….I really don’t take too much notice of analyst reports, esp ones pre inflationary climate . They just go with the flavour of the month. Less than 18 months ago some valued Thg at 1000p…most of coke cowboys
excellent brand,millican.
Remember Barclays in September? - "Analysts at Barclays have estimated THG Beauty could be worth about £4 billion but they warned that valuing the business is difficult “without disclosure of standalone margins.”

Curious to know valuation placed on all the different parts of the businesses if they were separately listed!!! Billion $ question???
Beauty (partly covered by current mc)
Nutrition (currently valued at £ZERO)
Ingenuity (currently valued at £ZERO)
OnDemand (currently valued at £ZERO)
Cloud Services (currently valued at £ZERO)

AS1 - Not sure if i posted it.
As per one THG employee, last week THG smashed internal records for the amount of websites launched in a single day and amount of sites launched in a week!!
Therefore business is doing great. Sooner or later the share price will have to reflect it!
THG Ingenuity £ZERO?!

You'll find a better bag here:
