Weve been expecting FDA for the end of every month for the past year. Cant be much longer now...
Another of my holdings is waiting on FDA clearance and they said it was expected to take 150 clearance days... they filed for the FDA on 20th October so around 6 weeks before TEK (taking their December date into account).

Morning Camkite. Thanks for posting and bringing realism to the table. It takes the FDA forever to do anything. Obviously we're hoping for priority clearance but when we're talking about medical devices what isn't so we have to be real and not get paranoid about the length of the approval process.
The reason I say this is...

134 days today since the other filed on the 20/10
All things being equal (and it as good a guess as any) ... End of April !
Anyone remember the exact date Belluscura went for fda clearance?
I agree weathergeek, Guident is the golden ticket for TEK holders. Anything else is a bonus and I must admit Lucyd is doing far better than expected with lots of noises coming from social media. I reckon Lucyd will be sold in H2 or H1 next year. Let's wait and see.
I agree with your assessment of the CEO BB, the things is, if they do release RNS's a lot just updating every little thing etc, that can cause more volatility in the share price. It's a fine line and this BOD seem to me to be edging on the side of caution rather than ramping up the prospects. However, I am expecting good progress this year as as some other posters have highlighted, some things are taking a lot longer than originally planned.
Things are progressing but I did expect more progress with the Salt side of things. I feel maybe that is actually a destructive product to the market place and they maybe finding it hard to penetrate the market. The existing competition will be resisting and for me I think licensing the tech is the way to go there.
Lucyd is actually impressing me more than expected and I personally like the verb social media idea too. However those type of ventures take a good while till profit is seen. The network effect can make profits huge when they do come though. Sales of the glasses look good and so does interest. The amount of lines needed and planned again is a big investment and it make take time to see bottom line profits while that grows.
Bellascura we all await still. If it does come it will be huge, if its a disappointment it will probably have quite a negative effect for a short term time on the SP.
Guident, to me the jewel in the crown. This has the potential to earn silly high profits and margins and it could list/IPO on its own with the right PR now for more than TEK is worth as a whole. Early mover advantage and future world proof. A massive growing and changing industry. This one to me is the golden ticket.
Lets hope for more progress and news through the year. GLA
Has to be worth sticking with it for now even if it's to see how Guidant progresses , its frustrating when we are naturally news hungry. As iv said before I feel better in my own mind that iv discounted Belluscura and concentrating on what Guidant could do, it just feels like the game changer here . With a little side distraction of Lucyd doing better than any of us thought . GLA I'm sure news will come
I know what you mean… a little blind faith required!
Personally and after many decades of trading, my gut feeling is telling me all will be good, but at some stage it will be reassuring to see some up to date figures in black and white. I take comfort from the CEO’s Proactive interview a few weeks ago, where he states ‘all 4 portfolio companies are progressing extremely well’ – I have meet the guy and he certainly is not a ‘wide boy’ and I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt, although lack of recent actuals is stretching peoples patience – sometimes you fill in the blanks with negative thoughts…e.g. has the FDA already given their answer one or two months ago?…after all, it was thrown back mid last year and we were not told…probably all OK, but you know what I mean!!!
Having said that, I have dropped one or two clangers in my time!! To quote Doris Day, Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be Will Be) and if you can’t have that attitude, maybe you are too heavily invested in this one, although I agree this one is a little frustrating!
I’m sticking with it…hopefully, I won’t be doing an impression of the Captain of the Titanic, but popping the Champagne and raising a glass to the CEO with all of you…you live in hope, but we will have earned it!!!
Another day of radio silence from the company. Having sent 4 emails over the last month and no reply to any i'm starting to get a little concerned.
