Bingo lovefriday - this is one of the first rules taught to me by the developers. It has to be simple enough to understand in about 30 seconds (give or take depending on the application) otherwise people get bored and move on. It's an attention span thing. Since this is not social media I would suggest that time would be different here but the overall concept is the same.
I have been involved in technology for 30 something years, that was slick and if you can understand , then they are doing the job! Make it too complicated , people lose interest
You cant reason with a troll. You say black they will say white.
That's not my point at all, what we did was relatively simple but by getting an understanding of coding (basic tho it was) you get an appreciation of what actually goes into making these things work and there will be some IP in there that will make the platform work and unique to SYME. Your comments are quite silly and naive.
I dont know why you are reply to him. Ive filtered him. The trolls have multi IDs its only 1 or 2 people.
Brass....They will be the first mover you muppet. Do you not understand this business concept?
OMG Fat Monkey really is displaying his utter stupidly tonight..
Truly clueless.
PMSL
Rocky…oh well as long as you’ve taken a JAVA course I’ll bow out PMSL
COMEDY GOLD
I'm going to step in here as I set up a platform for the EU referendum with some developers on the side to my normal work and in addition took HTML and Java courses and working with the developers and what I learnt independently I can without doubt say you have no idea what you are talking about BG. The whole mantra for developers is slick and simple on the interface - the rest (and there is a sh*it load) makes it slick and and look simple. It look very proficient and if they have the clients, funders and mechanisms in place then the scale is only as big as the imagination.
I know nothing about IT……pahahahaha. I have one question….what is it that Syme has that is of value? Clearly not the technology, so what is it ?… is it the idea ….is it the management, is it the customer base ….what is it. What is stopping a true technology company just copying “the idea” if it was ever proven on 5 minutes flat and undercutting Syme and wiping them out?
Guess we should ask brass about REST and API's and how all these systems manage to connect together in the background.
That is where the clever stuff is not what you see on the screen. A user just wants simple and that interface was exactly that.
"System looked a bit “amateur” and certainly not bleeding edge or leading edge…..basic at best."
---
It's the tech behind what you saw that is leading edge (blockchain, IoT etc). They also showed what the customer sees which is supposed to be user friendly.
The DD is the difficult/complex bit but once that's done the rest becomes almost a formality like putting in a request for payment of funds (but getting there was difficult - like applying for a mortgage you go through a ton of paperwork before getting the actual funds).
Furthermore their whole business model is workable and independently confirmed by a key (as AZ said 'important') player - that's the most important thing.
You obviously know nothing about software then BrassMonkey.
It was clean and easy on the eye with a multitude of complex functionality under the hood.
Stick to DOS mate.
BrassGemini - you are obviously not a technologist to be saying what you said. You want the dashboard to be easy to understand, easy to learn and easy to use (I speak as a software engineer). All the clever stuff is done in the backend which is unseen by the user (as it should be).
Basic, meaning simple, easy to use.
Does it need to be anything other than that?
It's a platform for uploading inventory and tracking the process. Not a social networking app.
A bit disheveled and not too well…..hope he’s ok. Suspect this is all getting to him now and after watching that I’m not surprised. System looked a bit “amateur” and certainly not bleeding edge or leading edge…..basic at best. That kind of rules out this being or proprietary with significant IP value in it. Can’t see this pushing the SP up much although suspect a push to .27p is possible if Negma are out ….but that’s still guess work.
First IM I accept will bring a sentiment jump in the SP to in the .3p -.4p range and after that I think it’s toast for a long time until profitability is delivered and all of us will be 6 feet under pushing up the Dailey’s by then. All IMO DYOR
