AZ has no material information that has not already been included in the RNSs, other than the names of the institutional third parties involved.
Hi calamari,
If AZ knew today that he planned to sell SYME at year end (maybe someone has made him an offer he can't refuse), I agree he couldn't/shouldn't deal.
He might have an idea of how SYME is likely to perform/ how he hope it will perform , but he can't foresee a MACC event ...or how shareholders /the stockmarket would react to SYME's performance/ or any number of other uncontrollable/unforeseeable variables.
ALL IMO

it was ssl1975 who simplified it..credit where it is due..thank you.
Fair comment Sam. Whoever it was that simplified the rns deserves a pat on the back. Once the content of the rns is fully understood, I am sure those who are trying to convolute or confuse what it actually means, will back down. For what it is worth, I personally think the SP will be north of 1p by January 1st and therefore expect AZ to make a tidy profit. He deserves it too! GLA.
Its like an incentive for AZ the bigger the share price past 86 the bigger the profit.
Simon thanks but wasn’t mine, was another poster on here can’t remember the name but don’t want to take there glory, I personally found it very useful to get my head around the RNS though and re-shared it later to make others aware
Sam has explained the rns better than anyone else on here today. Either way, it is a win win for pi's and BOD imo. It also stops this bickering, mm games and pump and dump crew who are looking to make their 50% and then try their luck elsewhere which imo is hindering the sp. AZ has basically in no uncertain terms stuck a middle finger up to these antics and said follow the money into the new year and has put an end to these fun and games. In case any of you haven't read Sam's analysis of the rns, here it is again:
RE: AZs option purchaseToday 13:42
So as posted earlier but continued -
AZ/Orchestra group has just paid £1.1m to have the option (right not obligation) to buy 630m shares *IF* the SP is at or above 0.6945 on 31/12. So;
*IF* the SP is not at or above 0.6945, they cannot exercise the option; they loose £1.1m.
*IF* the SP is at or above 0.6945, they can buy the 630m shares @ 0.6945 which will cost £4,347,000 + £1.1m premium paid = £5,447,000 total for 630m (=0.86 per share)
So at the very least AZ confident the SP will be 0.86 (£5,447,000 / 630m) - as that is what 630m shares will cost (point above)
Why take this option and pay 1.1m for it. If at the time of exercising the option, lets say the SP is 1.2p, the profit/ additional worth of those shares would be £2,113,000 (630m @1.2 are worth £7,560,000 but through the option they cost / bought for £5,447,000)
Nice!
Any SP price at the time of exercising the option above 0.86 is bonus. The premium paid for option cost £1.1m.
Sounds like AZ / Avant confident where the share price will be at the end of the year if not sooner
Fgs get a life or go reread the damn thing.
He's not going to sell the damn shares in the morning is he? If he doesn't have " inside information" by bloody December what's the point of all this. Get a fing job
Filtered because you are just plain silly
Another TW clone filter i have 12 who's next
Filtered another Tw clone
apunter2, if you read my earlier chip in's, you would know i do know those. And have looked into their background considerably, and as others who have also, it doesnt look too good, and it certainly doesnt lead any sane person betting their own cash to have the kind of confidence you seem to have.
And resulting to insults hidden behind a computer screen, really...is that the best you can do.
Hi Robbo13,
Where from ? From an existing holder , most likely of Consideration Shares (considering the price and the 'receive'), ie one of the Concert Party or mates.

Afternoon Extrader,
Yes, I think we're on the same page. I don't think purchasing the option would be deemed insider trading either.
Hi s23pho,
If you go back to basics, 'insider trading' is dealing on the basis of privileged information of price-sensitive matters.
AZ may have a view of where SYME will be at 31 Dec, but -unless he's the Messiah, as some people seem to think - he won't/can't have the knowledge today.
So he can enter into a conditional contract today, because he's not an 'insider' to any hard future facts.
Although, again, some people on the boards treat his forecasts as though he was.
ATB
Making stuff up again calamari...I cant find any evidence of this, he's betting on something that may happen in the future..
No its not. He taking a bet it will reach that amount. Its not guaranteed!!!
But the exercise of the options is months away. Would that be within the windows of insider trading? Or is it the day the option was bought that matters?
not himself or a mate lol
Somebody mentioned earlier that buying this option is a clever way to get around the fact that insider trading is illegal. He will have to pay the £1.1 million premium for the opportunity, but he obviously knows better than all of us in this board what to expect over the coming months.
At first, I thought it was an empty filler RNS. The more I look into it and following the 0.87p calculation, the more confident I feel about today's news and AZ's move.
Granted, it hasn't moved the SP today; But if AZ is confident that the price will breach 0.87p then so should we...
Correction: in under 17 hours from now
One can surmise than an intraday RNS (seemingly to steady the market) to steady the market could be a forerunner to a more substantial trading update 7am one tomorrow. Otherwise, why not wait til the morning to issue the share option announcement?
Just a hunch, we will know for sure in under 15 hours from now.
It's a monster RNS for those who get what he's just done.
Bet he's annoyed it didn't move the SP but we'll reap our rewards soon enough. He must be pulling his hair out.
@Alwayznow yeah im hoping thats why he has done this but in reality just one piece of tangible news will get us to a decent sp thats all any of us genuine investors want... the more I hear about unnamed companies & funders the more nervous I get... liKe I said shut up SYME until you have something to really say, I actually think its lowered the sp rather than increase it, noone cares about something if it can't be backed up.
Hi Robbo 13,
If you go to the holding RNS, it quotes 3 %ages : holding before, increase, holding now.
I'm sure there'll be more RNS's re changes in holdings, so you can work it out for yourself in future.
