I agree with you, smalltimeii - ability to pay the coupon and principal....plus the security offered (a part-finished mine with demonstrated demand for its (almost) unique, disruptive product capable of delivering very high margins for 100+ years in a growth market)
Mcap should be largely irrelevant (with the exception of estimating assumed value) in any investment decision, purchasing bonds would be no different. There main consideration would be the ability (or assumed ability) of the underlying company to pay a) the coupon and b) the capital back. It will not be possible to pay the coupon or the capital with Mcap so that will not enter the thoughts. They will presumably also be aware that Mcap is driven by stock market sentiment on the success or failure of the bonds and is therefore currently at a lower level than it would be if financing was in place and risk are reduced to the potential build over runs and product sales.
Ah yes. The trees have eyes.
I don't give much if any truck to the conspiracy theories of a connection between competitors of Sirius and the bashers on these forums. I've concluded long ago that in vast vast majority the bashers are just sad individuals who hold a grudge. They try and glean some pleasure from efforts to aggravate the present discomfort of those who stay with this. As those investors have - whilst fully appraised of the risks - a settled and reasoned expectation of the end game here.
Just sad. Not worthy of wasting intellect and precious time on.

Question: is the present Mcap of this a deciding factor with the decision making of those who are considering taking these bonds? Or will it be the economics of this project that proves the magnitude of the future earnings figures, with that being qualified by the remaining risks to get there, noting that with bonds taken there will then be a full finance package in place?
Week starting 3rd Sept Fred. Two weeks max from now.

I agree with that. I never thought that dilution was a foregone conclusion and I don't think any other holder did either or they would have sold and waited. But it happened ,the figures still look good so we move on.
Myo/Shep, do you both stay near area 51. Perhaps a few people think the KOH has a point with some of his comments to me it is obvious that he is pi55ed off with CF and perhaps most of the board but what LTH is happy with the current SP and being told that we should have expected this level of dilution should have been expected is the part that is laughable.
Myo, your " et al.....and bear in ind given that some relatively irrelevant posts get several thumbs up within two or three minutes of being posted......that multiple identities could well be (indeed are) at play."
Exactly, it didn't pass me by on Sunday in my 'I smell a rat post' that within seconds of the person I was referring to was getting six or seven ticks, on a Sunday over my suspicions of multiple identitys that many people watching the board by the second!!!. I don't think so. ;-)

The constant negativity from certain people was getting to me - then I started using the filter button. Yes, in a way it is chickening out, but at least the stress is greatly reduced.and life is too short to waste responding to these idiots -
Please keep posting - some of us like to hear about your cat and Myo's spuds :)

Dog Star - is Irma a binary bet? Is it really? Does someone have to lose? Do they really? Try working on a different model.
Buy my shares that I bought as new issue shares for 20p - I make 33%.
You sell them as the company marches on towards production for 40p - you make 100%.
The next person sells them for £1 at the increased production stage.
I go back and buy those £1 shares and I and my family take a 5% dividend for 80 years.
Company sends polite letters saying the mine is empty and they are turning the lights off.
My shares are worth nothing
Who lost money there then???????????
NO ONE.
Think at little tiny bit more and you’ll do a lot better.
I go on advfn for a bit of a laugh as 95% of them call sirius a scam and yes they do spread their rubbish on this board too. Dont delete your history fred16 I like the positive posts too,I dont consider myself a proper investor but I I'm enjoying the journey here it's better than the telly. And if our gut feelings are right then our families will benefit.if wrong then no-one died and we did it our way.
Just keep posting Fred , especially on the days the numpties are here , you posts are a breath of fresh air so don't let the buggers get you down , I imagine it's not easy to delete history or some of the numpties would be forever doing it with the garbage they write
Regards
ffc
Sorry just realised I’ve posted a lot last couple of days - stuck at home for 6 weeks - how can you delete history?!
I wish I could hide my history! Share chat was just so new to me and I’m still trying to get my head round it! I can’t read Adven - some days I can’t read on here either. Just can’t handle the posters that only appear on bad days when you’re feeling rubbish anyway - on those days I so appreciate the positive posts bec it makes me feel better that I’m not going mad and there are others who are still thinking like I do even though things haven’t gone as planned. I’d never be influenced but I do understand the genuine knowledgable investors and their concerns and their reasons they might want to sell but I’ve just got a different plan to them. But I still forget that there are posters out there that are not like I imagine that have an agenda.
I believe they use the not so known new username tactic. Ssh, it's a highly held secret.
dog star would you mind telling me how to hide my history it may be useful to know one day ?
Yeah but the bad news is many of those parasites come on here now as well. Granted different shares but you can see them referring to their handiwork (on here) on ADVN.
Should be put up against a wall and..................
Anyone who spreads false information about companies; pushing up or pushing down should be prosecuted. Joys of our new World I guess, with lunatics from the asylum having a platform to spread their fantasies
It is a binary bet, some will win and some will lose.
What's the odds though.
Ramping is pointless too, unless your trying to get out and need more mugs to buy, the outcome will not be altered by what is posted on here
then you should look at the ones over on ADVFN, my god, I haven't seen such blatant deramping crew members at work anywhere, ever!
Fir enough we get our fair share on here (which are poor attempts that can be seen from a mile off at this point) but at least they attempt to be a bit subtle in their efforts!
Anyway it's always a good sign when you see more crews being deployed as it means that we are getting close to transformational news!
