The failure may have come from RDS, but he was a 'bean counter'. Accountants are useful as CEO's in established companies with fairly substantial revenue where asset management skills are important, and the day to day running of the business is led by CFO's, Sales Director, Human Resource Director, etc, etc. NOT a young OnG exploration company, which obviously needed a experienced OnG professional as leader, not a guy who quickly found himself out of his depth, as shown by his ill advised foray into Italy. A NUNO ( neither of use nor ornament.)
Crude....each to their own I guess....until we see some action and return on our investment I and I'm sure many others will agree he feathered his own nest and put the PI's on the back burner while spouting about golden tickets etc, it was a ramp feast and now looking back I can't see anything other than that...
Further to this, he didn't hang about retracting from the public and shareholders when it went T*Ts up if he really had any concern for the investors he would have been a lot more vocal and come to the table rather than ducking down!!
I'm sure you see him in a different light as got close enough on several occasions to smell his hoop!!
fooking car smash this whole thing, and JP was at the wheel!!
I think you are in a very small minority with your beliefs in JP, SP lower than Gerry doorbell days, 1 million share sale at the DD, stinky fingers in lots of pies now. I'm hoping MS can turn this company around before we run out of cash and Marco get the license for himself in exchange of the debt.
Hi Crude,
To be fair I think when James left Shell(I think) to come to a small company he may have had good intentions about running a Company for PI's but over time he realised what can be made and quickly learned how to maximise his income with options etc . I think the PI's took a back seat in his thinking.

Oilpimpbxb....you say that James is a "spanker"...but I know he put his heart & soul into the belief that Tendrara would be the beginnings of a new hydrocarbon provincle & he maintains that view to this day: he is not the person that many make him out to be! He is not an Aim crook, he is just another small-cap O&G CEO who belived in their project & tried to do the best by investors...financing the company whilst trying to keep dilution to a minimum & offering real upside potential. I live in hope that new CEO, Mohammed will progress our Tendrara project to the satisfaction of all investors.
JP needs pulling up just on the past deals he has made, which have transpired to equate to absolutely nothing!!! never mind the 5m he made for doing absolutely naff all these last 5 years.....the guy is a spanker....pure and simple!!
Jacklevi - that’s right - here’s a link to the deed which states that if Sound Energy South - the collateral - has no assets the charge comes from Sound Energy East - i.e. Tendrara
