Colonel, shhh am buying wok on Monday !!!!
Tips?
Buy a gold fund.
That way you're not tied to a single company, ride the wave (either way, as there can be big movements up and down) and you're diversified.
Not that I'd be doing it at the moment, where economic sentiment is looking better (short term) after a strong run in goldies recently.
Solg otoh is money in the bank, especially at sub 20, which I believe will come soon.
Purely my opinion.
Oh, I'm glad all that crap has gone from last night.
It is hard to see when SOLG will deliver something meaningful. I am not heavily invested and paper loss is much less than paper profit on GGP. It is useful to see others' tips and I will research those. Currently I am considerably up on BMV (South Korea Gold Mines) and mining is due to start late this year. It is small but has potential and also has a relatively stable SP. I will probably sell SOLG and move to another where something may happen. I am still unhappy at the fund raise level and feel let down
Hey guys,
I currently have a small holding in BMN - but I would agree, one for the future!
The one I invested in a few weeks ago was Regulus Resources (REG) - I have been impressed with the high mineral content at a very shallow drill height. Check their investors presentation, they compare themselves to Solgold, and have some of the best drill holes around. Currently in the middle of a 3 year drill plan, so there is plenty of chance to get in early. Tight share structure, and a team that has done it before, still early to get in, because i think it will be a long hold. Saw a price increase on Friday because I think drill results are pending.
Of course, DYOR! :)
I would agree on BMN then again i could be seen as being biased as I have a modest holding there.
Seems undervalued considering it it is fully funded, and making good money with approx 34 million in the bank
However DYOR then decide how you want to invest your cash.
Pure Gold has seemingly very high grades and should be in production in about a year.
Metal Tiger is a mining finance company with big copper interests and some gold too.
Trans Siberian gold looks like good value as does HGM both in Russia.
Gold5. I have a large holding in Bushveld Minerals. They share price is currently depressed, mainly because many PIs that had large holdings sold to jump on the current pharma bandwagon.
They are making large amounts of cash compared to the current MCAP and have a head start on many in building a vertically integrated Vanadium mining and battery company. Look at https://thebushveldperspective.com/ for some info.
They are currently tendering for a huge, fully funded by the World Bank, battery project in SA which I believe will transform the company from a few hundred million miner in to a billion dollar battery company With a tech style rating. Results of the tender I believe will be out in the next two months and due to the high content of local produced material I believe BMN will win a sizeable proportion of it.

Thank you for your prompt replyRR I shall research.
I’m certainly not the best investor ever so please take my tip with a pinch of salt and do your own research but I think Cobra resources is worth a punt currently.
Sorry to go off the subject but I have three holdings in the goldies . Solgold, AAZ and GGP both Solg, AAZ I have held for many years. AAZ after many problems has done very well for me, Solgold has been so frustrating I cannot explain. GGP following a tip on this forum has been exceptional in the short time I have held from about 1.5p . Can readers please advise on any other promising companies please.
