Sleep apnea, I mean insomnia, come on Trek wake up! Been a long day...lol!
Trek
You can buy across markets with any decent account nowadays, you can trade NASDAQ on ii, it gives you a price for shares with ADR’s, America depository receipts, and the exchange rate but you can also open up an account overseas and trade from here direct if you have a linked bank account, sleep apnea and are good at doing tax returns!
What a rise here today! Congrats all longs! There’s more to come imo as this volume ahead of additional oversubscribed listing is significant. The bulls have it again!
Trek
bid over 60
I’ll second that oilornothing! BOOOOOMM!
Ok sharedealer I take my comment back and fully apologise.
It looks like I have an IT issue with the lag that I didn't recognise since around 1300.
My fault sorry, won't do it again. Promise.
Oh and by the way BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Oil from 16% to 20% increase....went down around 1pm to then climb again from 2.30 onwards....are you watching the same share as the rest of us?
Increase in what exactly?
NCYT even before the keyboard police come out in force...
Oil been a steady increase from 2.30 onwards.....have you had your eyes shut! Also as everyone on here who has NCT will know at 2.30 there was an RNS - Price monitoring very strange that it happened when the US was waking up....
haha, oilornothing,UK buyers are enough for sng.
What time is the American surge in buying taking place again?
‘@ Sharedealer - ok, I imagine that everyone else on here is getting fed up with this’
I’ll take that as a you finally concede you maybe perhaps not always 100% correct. Pleased i could assist. Now can we please focus! Having been in here since high 30’s I am actually enjoying this rise we are seeing!
Ok guys,
We will see if it's true or not in about 37 mins.
Andy....think my time zone map gave an indication that they would wake up at different times, however, when the frenzy starts in the US historically at 2.30pm our time then more trading happens on the UK market from the brokers with dual international account! At this point I’ll just hold my head and understand you can never be wrong Andy!
@ Sharedealer - ok, I imagine that everyone else on here is getting fed up with this.
So what your saying is my brother who is a senior fund manager could just put buy/sell limits on all of his shares and never go into the office during UK trading hours and not be reactionary to the markets? Well thank you I bow down to your extensive knowledge and I’ll let him know, he will be pleased as will mean he can spend more time with the kids...
@ Sharedealer - so you think that everyone suddenly wakes up at the same time that the US markets open? How do you not understand this?
Andy....the FEW institutions will be awake yes, but this share to date has been driven by PI’s who are likely to be asleep! Blimey do you wake up in the morning look in the mirror and say to yourself ‘I am always right, I am always right’
@ Formul - my brother lives in LA - he still has access to his Barclays account and can buy / sell. But his UK trades only happen on UK shares when the UK markets are open. It’s got nothing whatsoever to do with the US markets being open.
Get your trainers on Formul!
@ Sharedealer - still? You’ll find that people who trade on foreign exchanges are awake for their specific market opening times - hence why you see pictures of clocks with different time zones. It’s no different to someone working a night shift when the rest of us are in bed.
Plus people can set automatic buy / sell limits these days - you don’t have to be awake or logged on.
good to have you onboard take a look at these time zone's
Here you go Andy....just to explain why there are asleep!
Eastern Daylight Time
Time zone in Washington, DC, USA (GMT-4)
Wednesday, 8 April 2020, 08:31)
07:31 Central Daylight Time Chicago (GMT-5)
06:31Mountain Daylight Time Denver (GMT-6)
05:31 Mountain Standard Time Phoenix (GMT-7)
05:31Pacific Daylight Time Los Angeles (GMT-7)
04:31 Alaska Daylight Time Anchorage (GMT-8)
02:31 Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time
So yes they can trade anytime, but it’s likely the traders who have British trading accounts maybe asleep!
@ Formul - I only post where I’m invested. I want to make money but I believe in ethics - that’s why I’m here. I just don’t shout about when I buy and sell.
I mean you can trade on US markets when our Brokers are closed
So USA can trade here when our market opens..
