Algy I've also thought that about WedMe for some time, and was considering posting a question to that effect purely to satisfy my curiosity. I didn't, because the info has been so useful and I didn't want to sound as if I was accusing him/her of ramping up for financial reasons. However, I do think the info just TOO good for an "outsider". What makes you think WedMe is female? I would be more inclined to guess male. I don't want to be un-PC and put in print why I think that! Bagitup/Pmjh........reading WedMe's posts I have long suspected she is a medic within the Southampton team. The posts were of great value to the loyal LTH and all shareholders at the time. I do wonder if the risks of insider dealing ......will unfortunately.....restrict her posts from now on.. .....hopefully the increasing positive news within the public domain will support us instead.......and we will not miss her too much.
I will, of course, be delighted to be proved wrong and WedMe makes a dramatic return after her very busy nightshifts!

Great information Bagitup!!
The Lancet is the or one of the best journals for medicine, so must have had excellent reception if it is accepted there. From what I can gather it seems to be published on Thursdays. So exciting..
Mattw007 - I received 100% of my oversubscription. I asked for and additional 1500 above my allowance.
I assume the open offer included II’s and perhaps they took shares in the £80mil so there was actually plenty of spare shares for PI’s.
Bagitup... I have it on good authority from someone at the talk today that he said a paper has been accepted for publication on P2 results...
Placing and Open Offer all complete on Wed 4th...now will we get news before or after... Either way news of published peer review will be exactly what the backroom boys will use to push the SP up quickly so they can turn some of the shares they've picked up this week...
Just hope we don't get drowned out by US election...
as always brilliant research guys
yes from what i know....Lancet and Science are very highly prestigious journals

I wonder if the p2 publication will be combined with the results of the open offer vote RNS? This company do seem to have a habit of rolling lots of news together in one announcement. Most companies try to eek it out for maximum exposure, it’s like SNG are just too busy doing the doing, so just summarise everything when they have to communicate.
An award? Thank you Oxford, too kind ;-)
Oil, Yes peer review. Hopefully see something next week.
There is another good find from today will go and find it and bump it up
What has been accepted by the Lancet? Is it the peer review of the Phase 2 hospital results?
Just catching up on the afternoon.
Bagitup- you get the top sleuth award today!!! Great work.
I love the diverse skills, experience and contacts on this board. Seriously impressive.
Aha! So the giant snowball beings to form at the top of the hill. Clear the way....
Pmjh no problem, thank you for passing on to wedme.
Wafer good to hear!
Cr1909 haha! Tin hat on!
Bagitup - i have no reason to doubt you or your sources. I just hope your right or the guy posting about this being an aggressive board might find he has a point :-)
Hi Bagitup, The Lancet is at the very top, not only UK but Globally recognised, believe me.
Also, getting the old work published so that they can put in a proper reference to it in the new paper.
Where's WedME? I don't know enough about journals but I believe the Lancet is one of the best.
Nice job bagitup ;-)
The impression I got from the July P2 update was that anyone who was anyone in the respiratory secondary care sector had been involved in the hospital trial, so who would be left to perform the independent peer review - just those non-experts; or those with disclosable interests elsewhere?
UPDATE!!
P2 results to be published in the Respiratory Lancet. They've been accepted, it's going to be any day now.
Surely this will be rns worthy when it drops?!
I appreciate you can only take my word for this until someone on this BB has access to the above BRC talk but this is what Prof Tom told everyone today!
Looking forward to next week!

This was presented at a mini symposium in May 2018 but now looks to finally been published in peer reviewed journal. I know I have been banging on about it but peer review can take a long time.....
Main points to take from this (which are available on synairgen's website).
1. The safety profile of AZD9412 was consistent with previous clinical experience [9] and no new safety concerns were identified.
2. AZD9412 improved lung function (morning peak expiratory flow; mPEF) by 19.7 L/min. (AKA IT WORKS).
Interesting timing regarding publication of a study undertaken by Astrazeneca! Wonder why they would bother......
PokerJason... makes sense otherwise too much of a coincidence to just have that published now, in the middle of this Covid clusterfcuk
37 pages of WTF does that all mean and translate to ? :)
I'm sure it's good though :)))
PhilGekko - Safety Data? Its adds value to the safe use of SNG.
Looks like they are processing the trials for peer review. Probably didn't get processed before and not important enough until now.
Came accross this foreign paper while there, each page is available in English as well, if you press ctrl f and search for interferon it highlights the mentions. Not sure what trial they are referring to in this work if Synairgen have the patent for the inhaled route of delivery and they found it 79% effective in their hospital trial...
